these people try to charge my elderly grandmother $1200 to change her Front and back brakes plus drums. They also charged her $90 to take out a dipstick that had fell in the oil pan absolutely ridiculous

I went here for a couple of things, to put on caliper cover on my wheels and to see if there was a way to modify my exhaust. They took a look at my exhaust and gave me a few options, that I plan on doing later. And they installed the caliper covers. After a week the covers started to lightly hit the rims, so they quickly adjusted them. They are great to deal with and I believe they have your best interest when consulting you on your vehicle.

DON T GO HERE! Had to take my car there 3 times in 2 months! They gave me a list of issues I needed fixed. I had them do 3 things for around $1,000. Then they tell me I needed a few other things fixed that they just noticed. They quoted me $550 to fix a radiator problem. I took it to another mechanic with at a much lower price. The new mechanic called me 2 hours later and said I didn t need to have anything fixed, because there s nothing wrong with that radiator system.Services: Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

Came in to replace my muffler. They communicated everything clearly before and during service, as well as doing excellent, high quality work on my exhaust. I recommend Rossi's Auto for anyone looking for a reliable service center.

I have a Class B camper van with dual back tires. I am on a 1 week visit from FL. My tire pressures dropped significantly due to the the much lower temps. After refusals from several other places (due to the dual back tires), Rossi's agreed to provide service without hesitation. I was in and out quickly, and the service folks were extremely courteous. Thank you, Rossi's. I highly recommend you to others.Service: Tires

The Subaru dealer recommended that I try Rossi's for some welding to repair an exhaust system. I was very impressed. They did a combination of repair and replacement for a cost-effective and safe solution. So far so good-- it is nice and quiet again. If they were closer to my house I would use them for everything!

Called them a few hours before I was going to look at a potential vehicle to purchase at a nearby dealer and asked if they could take a quick look at the car for me. They said they could send someone out for a few minutes when I showed up.I did just that during my test drive and a mechanic came out within a few minutes and was able to point out some potential concerns and gave me some heads up items on the type of car I was looking at.They offered to do that at no charge and followed through with what they had said on the phone.I was very appreciative of how they treated someone who was not even one of their local customers. If I lived closer to them I'd definitely consider using them for my service needs.Service: Vehicle Inspection

We have been bringing our cars here for service for years!!!!! Great service, quality work, reasonable prices, etc. Because we trust them so much, we bought a used car from them. Chris handles car sales. He is very knowledgeable about cars. He is one of the nicest, kindest people you could work with. Don't hesitate to buy from this company. Our prayers were answered. So what are you waiting for???

I loved the personality of the people there. Fairly priced too. I saw how they treated a very elderly WW2 vet and took care of his car even while they had no time slots available. This speaks volumes to me and I will be their customer for life. I'm making them my primary for my auto care needs....wish I had met them earlier.

Today was our first time using Rosso Auto, it won't be the last. Friendly and very competent, and more importantly HONEST. I appreciate them taking time to go though the car and advising me about future repairs. Again honest and friendly.

Brought my vehicle there for a radiator leak and a poor running vehicle. Was told a new radiator as well as a diagnostic test was in order. The diagnostic test revealed a misfire cause by a spark plug issue. I authorized the repair. After the repairs were completed I was then told I needed a head gasket and that would entail a new engine at a cost of $3500. I would think that a diagnostic test would have shown this? My opinion is they just have you throw parts and money at the issue and hope it gets fixed? Spoke to the owner and pleaded my case but there was no budging or negotiating. Told me I'm not a mechanic and I don't understand how these things work.Actually asked if I wanted to move forward with the new engine! Yeah so then you can tell me I need a new transmission after you put the engine in.All just my experience. Your experience may differ. Good luck.

Took my car here just to try them out. I needed a muffler installed. For some reason, the tech decided to drill a hole in my muffler without asking for my authorization to do that. They also spilled some kind of white chemical on my driver's side door that left a stain on the car that I could not get out. Very disappointed. In my experience, it has been very difficult to find a competent and trustworthy mechanic in RI.

Have had multiple vehicles repaired here. These folks are honest and do good work. When my dealership ran me around with huge diagnostic fees which didn't find a simple misfire issue, Rossi found and fixed the problem with ease. An all-around quality business which will do whatever they can for you.

This shop is one we work with regularly for years. They will fix almost anything and if not can make intelligent suggestions. They assist with our customers who are often in that part of the state, and no on is ever disappointed. Much more than just an exhaust shop. Talented and friendly staff!

Got told I needed about a grand of work to solve an issue. I brought my car in for a strong vibration during acceleration from the front end of the car. After agreeing to the work and picking up my car, it was as if they didn't fix a thing. Brought my car back and they were still unable to find the issue. Waste of money and time. Three months after this I had to have their work redone by another shop to pass my inspection. They refused to warranty the faulty parts that they installed three months prior or offer any sort of compensation. Even with the failed inspection reports with their failed work on it. Hacks.

Beware of these thieves and hacks!!!! I took my vehicle in to get the check engine light off. They say it s going to need $2,000 worth of work. I agree and pay. After leaving the mechanics with my vehicle the check engine light comes back on. I take it back to them but now this time it needs an additional $1,260 worth of work. They re nothing but hacks, liars, and thieves!!! I talked to the manager and he was completely unable to explain to me why this was fair. He wouldn t even give a price reduction. I m still shaking from being disrespected so bad. I m never going back there and I hope anyone that reads this does the same!!!

I experienced a situation where I needed to buy a new car because my previous car would not pass inspection. I have been a longtime customer of Rossi Auto Care and remembered they also sell cars. Upon inquiring with them, I purchased a car from them that I am pleased with. I recommend them as a source to do business with.

Took mother's car there for exhaust leaks. Time and price quotes were just what they said. Showed me work that was done, clean straight welds, nicely fabricated exhaust pipes, definitely will use them again.

Very lazy workers. It shouldn't take a full day for a simple oil change. They wasted a day of my time and wanted more time to do it. I could have done it faster myself if I had the time. Dont overbook your appointments if you cannot deliver. I will never use this place again.

Rossi's has gone way down. I was recommended by a large dealership to go to Rossi's as they would be a lot less expensive to fix my car and for normal maintenance. I was so appreciative that I was lead here. Over the past few years I have noticed prices rising and today was the last time I will use Rossi's. They refused to give me an estimate for an issue I was having with my car and insisted I needed to bring it in to diagnosis it even though I had the dealership tell me what was wrong. I had to wait over a week for this appointment and finally I get the price and they are $300 more than the dealership. Well Rossi's thanks for wasting my time. It is really sad I loved this place but they truly are just wasting time

I had come to this place to get an inspection done and want to share my experience. First off the place is very clean and the waiting room is nice enough to not mind hanging around for the work to get done. The staff was nice when they greeted me. That about sums up the good things. So they took my car in once and returned some things to fix. No big deal. I knew there were problems with the vehicle. They listed a few problems but one of the problems listed I was a bit annoyed about. They listed an exhaust leak and when I had put it on a lift afterwards I was unable to locate any sort of leak at all. The only thing that they could have considered a leak would have been a water run off hole on the muffler. When your car is finished being inspected the person who inspected your car will tell the people at the desk what is wrong. They will not approach you until after they have figured out how much it costs and can give you a quote. More or less when you go to find out if you passed and pay your really walking into a sales pitch that you did not know was about to happen. Once again I was not majorly annoyed I just wish they did not try to push it on to people. My dad has been in the business for 20+ years and pressuring people into fixing things on the spot is just not the right way to do business in my opinion. So I head back to my dads garage, fix all the listed problems as well as fix a few things that were listed but not required to pass inspection. I returned a week or two later to get it passed. I arrived and they said I did not fix a few things that I did as well as saying there were now new problems. For instance I had patched up the one hole on the muffler and then checked the exhaust again. I did not feel anything. When I asked him to show me the exhaust leak he showed me a section of the exhaust with some soot on it as evidence. Without testing to see anything that soot was just leftover from before I patched. Next they claimed the track bar was suddenly bad and said as an excuse that they were unable to tell that because of the bad tie rod ends. I was a bit annoyed as that meant I was going to need to pay for another inspection as they did not do a through investigation the first time. All in all I think the place does great exhaust work. I saw one being made when I was there and it looked great. The inspector I dealt with they called juicebox... He resembled Juice from Sons of anarchy somewhat. Im not sure if the bad job was because of the inspector or not but due to what others have said I am more inclined to say that its probably the business itself rather then the workers.

While driving north on 95 recently my car broke down near Warwick, RI. Just stopped dead. I googled a few shops and asked a local who stopped to see if I needed a hand. He recommended Rossi's and so I called them and they sent a tow truck immediately. The problem was my timing belt. The estimator explained the problem in good detail without talking down to me, gave me a estimate and though it was a pretty big job, they got right to it. I was back on the road 5 hours later (the mechanic even stayed late to finish). I have since looked into what a timing belt costs and the price at Rossi's was very fair and the car is running great. Thanks Rossi's for a great job and as a bonus, saving me from spending money on night at a motel!

Excellent service. Went to have an exhaust leak fixed and got the car back the same day. Runs smoothly and they are fairly priced.
