In life you need a good doctor and a mechanic you can trust, and George fills the second bucket. Hands down the nicest guy you will find! He really wants you to be happy and will make any amends if you arent satisfied. Also, he tries very hard to keep his prices down, esp for gas (well needed today!). The world needs more men like George.

It is Christmas Eve, the low tire pressure light came on in my car and we are headed to Boston for Christmas tomorrow. I drove to George's after finding out that he seems to be the ONLY place in the area open today. I could not believe how gracious and helpful George was, as was a member of his team who happened by for gas as he was off today. George was so busy with gas, his team member volunteered to help me with the tires and did so. Neither would take any kind of gratuity as a thank you for helping me out today. I have not had this kind of experience in a long time. It is so heartening that there are people like this around and I want to thank George and his team member (sorry that I did not get his name) and offer kudos to them. Oh, and a Merry Christmas too!

I m new to the area, so I was a bit concerned about finding a good shop because I know nothing about cars. George and his staff have been absolutely amazing! Extremely helpful and my mind is at ease because I know my car is in great hands!

Can t recommend highly enough. We ran over a screw while visiting the area for my birthday. I called and it turned out the garage was closed, but they went out of their way to help us and we were able to enjoy the day with barely a hiccup. I am so grateful and I can t promise they ll always open when they re closed, but I know they re honest and do what they can to help.

I called George after another car service store turned me away for not having the time to deal with my issue (ended up being a blessing in disguise because i found the best local car mechanics store! George s!!) i called George in a frantic state as I had only less than a week to get my car inspected and fix the Mass Air flow check engine light! George immediately came to the rescue and did everything promptly and outstandingly! I couldn t be more thankful for my friend for suggesting I give George a call and cannot truly reccomend him enough!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection

George is a real genuine guy. I came up here from New Jersey to visit family and my tire belt blew. George came in on his day off, put the car on the lift and gave me several recommendations and asked for no money. Such an amazing guy!

One of the best places in the area! George gives fair pricing and they do fantastic work. They ve done multiple inspections and oil changes, and even let my kid feed the fishes inside to keep him entertained. I will always come back to George s, as their work is the utmost quality, they respect their customers, and they deliver excellence services.Service: Oil change

I just read the review from last month about the elderly man that needed air in his tires and I was quite frankly shocked at what I read. I have been going to George s for years. If it s gas that I need, I have never have to wait. I love that I don t have to pump it myself! As for repairs, yesterday I brought in my car with a problem and George said it needed to be repaired right away as there was a hole and engine coolant was leaking. Being elderly and on a very low fixed income I said I wouldn t be able to fix it until next Wednesday. He said, it can t wait, bring it in tomorrow and I ll fix it and you can pay me next week. When was the last time someone offered you repairs and said, pay me later? Like never! Now do you see why I was shocked when that man couldn t get air in his tires? I m sorry that happened but please give him another chance since George and all of his employees are kind, friendly and professional. Thank you so much George!

My wife & I were faced with a disaster that was left to us unknown from a previous car dealership. George took the time to assist us with taking the time out of his day to call the Rhode Island DMV and wait on hold for quite some time to get to the bottom of the issue for us. By far the best customer service we have received from a garage. He told us to leave the car with him and he would figure it all out for us, then confirmed he would have it all resolved before we returned the next day. He basically did all of the work to accommodate us and with that said ABOVE & BEYOND. He actually cares about his customer clientele and providing the best customer service that he can. He definitely exceeded our standards and completely satisfied all of our troubles. Great man, great business! I highly recommend this garage for any service, or repairs. To me customer service is the most important piece of any business and he holds that in high regard. Keep up the good work George.

We presented George with an EXTREMELY confusing issue with my son's pickup truck a couple of months ago that just seemed to keep morphing into new issues. George and his crew worked day and night trying to diagnose the issue, and ultimately resolve it, while at the same time, trying to keep the cost down for us. It took 2 months, and a lot of patience on both sides, but their determination and perseverance paid off!!! Definitely would recommend and no doubt will be a repeat customer!!! Thank you George & crew for everything you did for us!!

George has kept my old car running smoothly and diagnosed and fixed many problems over the years. I also go there for gas. The service is consistently excellent and the prices are always fair. I thought the evening news was bad yesterday (7/31) and today I learn of a different kind of bad right in our beautiful town of Tiverton. A friend's father, who is 90 years old, had VERY low air in one of his tires. He first went to Speedy to get the tire filled and they had no air. He then went to George's Gas and Service on Stafford Road which is right across the street. I was told, by the son of this elderly man, that the owner of the station refused to serve him as he did not buy gas from him! He surely lost the opportunity to gain any new customers by his actions. To turn anyone away who is in need of help like that, especially a frail elder, is despicable. Helping those in need is just the right thing to do, come on man, really?:

The owner of this place takes pride in his work and has been here for over 30 years. He has a great reputation locally. They do great work and at a reasonable cost. What more could you want?
