Purchased a Jeep from John on Friday and we went over it and found a few things wrong and he fixed everything for the same purchase price and they weren t cheap parts . He replaced all the brakes and the water pump and stayed till 6:00pm on Saturday to get it done so I could grab the Jeep that day. We hit it off pretty good . Great guy

Wow! Needed front end repair and since the minute we dropped my car off John was nothing but pleasant! Even with the million phone calls he was getting while helping me. The process was smooth with the loaner car he gave us.Parts took a bit but that s no fault of the shop- john stayed in contact with my husband with updates.When I picked up the car, John was great to our two boys even though they spilled m&ms all over the office..they detailed the car and it was like brand new! I literally forgot how to drive it! Definitely recommend hometown!!!Thanks John!

After hitting a crater, John came to tow my car very quickly and took care of everything for me. He was very professional and gave me excellent advice on what steps to follow while I was still dealing with my emotions. I did not have car rental insurance so he provided me with a loaner vehicle and regularly called me to give me updates on my car repair. I truly felt that I was in good hands. On top of being fixed, my car was clean and detailed, as good as new! I definitely recommend this auto body shop without any reservations. It was a very positive experience. Friendly staff, great service, above all expectations.

This is the second time that I have had John fix my vehicle due to an accident. He truly does a great job. He also fixed a separate issue that was not related to the accident and gave me a great price and deal. He is definitely good at what he does and truly wants to take care of his customers and impress them.Lindsay

The BEST car repair experience I have ever had. I have never hugged a mechanic/auto body guy after having my car in the shop but I did after to Home Towne Auto! John knew how to deal with my insurance, took care of my car right away and did an excellent job. They work with the rental car place so it was super easy to get that coordinated. My car was immaculate when I picked it up....inside and out. John went above and beyond what i expected and I will go to Home Towne Auto for all my future car needs! So happy I found a great car guy!

One of the best when it comes to helping you through the process of fixing your car.John goes above and beyond for you making the process easier and less stressful. I will always recommend Hometown auto to have any of your vehicles worked on fixed or even bought. Hometown auto is a very family oriented company.

I can't say enough good things about Home Towne Auto. I've taken two of my vehicles there for body work and the results are perfection. John (owner) worked directly with my insurance company both times and took that hassle off my shoulders. The communication was great through the entire process and the shop is professional and clean. I know I got the very best quality of work and excellent service. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!!

I loved the entire process of buying my jeep from home towne. As the daughter of a mechanic, I often have to deal with disrespect from dealers and other people in the industry. John, and even all of the regular customers treated me with dignity and respect. I was not jerked around at all. I was never spoken down to, and John worked just as hard as I did to get me in my Jeep as fast as possible! Tito, the big friendly Rottweiler, sealed the deal.The service was fantastic, the 2008 Jeep drives like new, the price was fair, I can't say enough about Home Towne. Love you guys!

We just picked up our 2002 Suburban from Hometown Auto. It looks like a brand new car! The car is only used for towing and it hasn't looked that great for a number of years. In August during a wind storm a tree landed on the car while my husband was driving and it did extensive damage to the front end. This is our first time using Hometown Auto and the repair work both mechanically and body work was fabulous. I recommend them and will be using them in the future. John went above and beyond for us.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for repairs! I got into an accident in the middle of December and this was the place who came to tow my car. Hes 100% up front and honest with you from the beginning and keeps contact with you about your vehicle in the process. They went above and beyond when it came to fixing my car although it wasnt really worth that much and detailed the inside of my car (which was pretty bad seeing it hadn't been done since I got the car in August of 2014) I will definitely be going back if I need any additional work or even inspections.

I purchased a 2011 4X4 Ford Ranger to replace my aging plow truck. I have to say, I was a wee bit leery of undertaking this transaction as my husband of 35 years had always taken care of all matters vehicle related. Now a widow, I have learned that a woman with limited experience in such matters can be easily be taken advantage of. I am happy to report that John Russo was honest, down-to-earth, accommodating and maintained the highest level of efficiency and professionalism from start to finish. He allowed me to take the vehicle to my mechanic and remedied the only minor concern immediately. Pricing was fair and accurate to Blue Book standards. and as an added little bonus, the truck can with a free 90 day SIRIUS RADIO subscription. I highly recommend Home Towne for your used vehicle needs and plan to return in the near future!

If i could give john and his boys a (1000 ) stars or more I would with no questions asked!This man has went way beyond the call of duty!And he handled my car as if it was his very own!Not only did he repair the wreckage from my left front end from hitting a pole but he detailed every inch of my car inside and out making her shine like a 5k Diamond!My midnight blue 2015 Chevy cruze who i call (glady's) was glimmering and shinning on every inch of her outside curvesAnd when i looked under her dress and saw her just glistening and shinning i almost fainted!It took john about 2 1/2 weeks to fix my car because of the type of damage i had, but john was more then happy and most willing to let me use one of his vehicles while mine was being repaired and he was not under contract or obligated to do this for me because i did not select rental coverage through my car insurance, he did this from the bottom of his heart and this is just another added benefit you get from being a customer of John's!(PLEASE) do yourself a favor when its time for a oil change, tuneup, body repair and many more!choose (Home Towne Auto Body & Sales) and ask for john and i promise you you will not disappointed, I highly recommend this man for everything including great customer service because to him your more then just his priority your his friend!

So I was going tanning at Maxx tanning in North Smithfield and John Russo approached my vehicle which has been scratched in a parking lot recently and kindly offered to fix my truck at his Auto Body Shop Hometown Auto right next door to the tanning place. I honestly was amazed at the work that he did. He got me a rental and fixed my truck to perfect condition. He also detailed the truck for me and cleaned it so that it was sparkling. I would recommend Hometown Auto Body to anybody and I definitely had a great experience.

I got into an accident and was referred by a friend to John at Hometown Auto. He showed up a couple days later to get my car and drop off a loaner. He also took care of all the insurance issues as well. Top notch service. You would never know my passenger side was banged up. I would highly recommend these guys for any body work you might need done.

Very honest service. The owner spent a great deal of time checking my daughters Jeep on very short notice. He help her determine the vehicle was beyond repair and never charged her a dime. As a father I can only say thank you very very much!

This is the auto body shop to bring your car to if your ever in an accident. My wife hit a deer and when we got the car back from John, it was immaculate. Never any hassles, only prompt courteous service! They do mechanic work too. John helped me out with an exhaust issue that another shop couldn t fix without replacing the entire exhaust.

We brought our truck here after an accident and when we got it back, it looked brand new! John is a home town guy, and made sure our truck was safe to tow our camper, and truly went above and beyond what we expected! I will definitely be reccomending this place to my friends and family!

I was in an accident and in less than 2 hours after the wreck I was in a loaner and he took care of my insurance. When I got my Altima back it was better than new. You honestly cannot tell. Everyone needs to take their vehicles to John.

I purchased my 2009 Cadillac CTS from John over a yr ago and recently stopped in for my routine maintenance and oil change. I was taken aback by the cleanliness and upkeep of the shop. Hometowne also detailed my vehicle inside & out with no extra cost to me! The quality of care & maintenance they have continuously shown me & my vehicle has definitely gone above and beyond! A family owned business I purchased a truck recently from Home Towne , the truck runs great and I could not be happier. The owner John is a nice guy and was very helpful with anything I needed. I recommend this place to anybody looking to buy a new car/truck or needing repair .

Please Do not buy a car from this dealer . I bought a 2008 ford van on 3/9/17. On 5/5/17 the transmission went out . 57 days after I purchased. I paid a total of $ 11, 715. DEALER WILL NOT FIX. I AM OUT OF WORK AND VAN NOW. I have contacted the general attorneys office and also will contact the RI dealer licensing board . Very disappointed the guy seemed to be a nice owner of a family business.

Over all terrible experience. This man is shady and just looking to make money off of people. Also the work done to my car looks aweful and he is denying everything saying there is "no way to get that paint perfect" even though it was perfect before I was hit. He seems very nice in person but please dont give him your business.

I can say no wrong about this place , I brought my vehicle in on a word from my friend , I gave him a about totaled vehicle, he turned this vehicle around installed OEM parts , blended the paint perfectly fixed all problems ,when he was done it was like brand new hats off to John and his crew , also the detailer did a unbelievable job.
