Julia gave us the Best car buying experience we've ever had. Would definitely recommend doing business with them. She knows her cars better then any salesman I have had before. They play no games, no back and forth. They answer your questions and will find you the car you want if they don't have one. They will not try to pressure you into buying something on the lot. Will definitely do business again. Nice job team Scott's VW!!

I recently bought a vehicle from Scott and have nothing but positive things to say about James the sales manager. I dealt with him and makes the whole process very easy. It just so happened that they had the car I was looking for and at a great price. Its a family run business and they pay more attention to you. Don't hesitate to go there and see James. Easiest car buying experience ever. When other dealers were up charging they were not. Purchased 2 cars in the last year and a half. Will again. If you are looking for a VW go to Scott. Service department is great too. I go further to get service here because they are so good.

I ve been leasing cars from Scott Volkswagen for the past 7+ years. Dennis and the manager James are both extremely kind, patient, and always have the customers best interest at heart. They always go above and beyond to make sure I m satisfied and never put any pressure when it comes to decision making. They carefully work together to find the best deals and options and I truly can t recommend this dealership enough! :)

The service department personnel are consistently courteous, attentive, and professional. They have made helpful suggestions about caring for my vehicle and things to watch for that I wouldn't have thought about. I drive here despite another dealership being closer to me because Scott is so much better!!!

Scott VW is my go to for anything and everything VW. I ve been a customer for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. If I am there for parts, service or to purchase a new vehicle I am always greeted with world class service.My most recent experience with Julia and James was flawless. From the moment I sent an email inquiring about a vehicle, Julia delivered exceptional service. I have been buying cars for myself and family for decades. This was definitely the best experience I have had. Selena Motta was the salesperson who helped me and my son (we were buying a car for him)-- there was no pressure; they were just helpful and wanted to help our son get his car. Although we got a discount, they also provided some additional services for us including new tires at no cost to us. I strongly recommend this dealership to those interested in VW.

Every visit at Scott Volkswagen has been great since day 1. I have 307k miles on my Jetta and has been at service department here many times (mostly for oil changes and minor fixes btw, Jetta rocks! Most reliable car ever, recommend 100%). From great customer service, efficient scheduling every time to professional and understanding service advisors, spotless clean facility as well, I am very pleased by the team of East Providence Volkswagen! I was traveling from Florida and the car overheated near Scott VW. I was able to drive in. In about an hour they diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and put me in a rental car.The works was completed the next morning and done within the estimate.P.S. the warranty was long expired.

Buying a new car at the end of the year can be a stressful experience, but I m happy to say my recent purchase from Scott VW was as easy as could be. Our sales representative, Dennis Holley, was low pressured and extremely patient throughout the process.The car I traded in was a 2010 - and believe me, automotive technology has advanced by leaps and bounds since then! Dennis had his hands full bringing me up to date. He did so with humor and the insights of a seasoned professional.The entire showroom has a very cool vibe. There s also an air of honesty and integrity coming from the back rooms - a great combination in an auto dealership. I highly recommend Scott VW.

I ve been coming here for my VW repair since 2003, and I ve never regretted it. They do a great job and are truly passionate about VWs. They re the most knowledgeable dealership in RI and they have always solved my issues, even when the fix was difficult. I just got my car back from their collision center. It was just a fender bender, and my car looks new again. I expected my car to be repaired, but I wasn t ready for the attention to detail they gave it. They shined my rims and even glued down a piece of molding that had been sticking up ever since I got my car. It was definitely worth the wait and drive. Thank you for taking such great care of my cars over the years. You guys are one of the reason I drive a Volkswagen.

I had a very pleasant experience buying a car here. The salesman, Emile, was very responsive and communicative leading up to the test drive, the car was as advertised when I got there, and everyone was friendly and helpful.

I have been looking for a specific model with a specific trim. One finally showed up. I don t want to say the salespersons name because it s not HIS fault. But anyway, the salesperson called me and told me the car showed up. I was excited. I called the following morning and asked if it was still there because it was well over an hour drive for me. I get there, I drive the car, and as soon as I get out of the car, the general manager walks by and says, oh that car isn t for sale anymore, I just now took a deposit over the phone for it .Like, what? While I was on a test drive for a car I was literally about to purchase? What was the point of driving over an hour? Or better yet, what was the point of me getting a call to come in if that was going to happen? Last time I checked, you don t sell a car up from somebody s feet while they re in the middle of a test drive. What a joke. I feel bad for the salesperson just as much as I feel bad for myself. Took away that guys commission, and a customer. I won t be ever doing business with them.

The staff at Scott VW are excellent. I had an issue with my '18 GTI and the tech was able to diagnose the problem and replace all parts affected. All of the work completed was done under my current warranty. Scott VW stayed in contact with me and were able to give me an appropriate timeline and keep me updated as best they could. I have had interactions with other VW/Audi dealerships and none can compare to the care and customer service I was given here.

My wife and I just bought a used 2019 VW Tiguan. We had an amazing buying experience. Dennis Holley was our point of contact and he was great to work with. He never rushed the process and gave us the time and support we needed to make our decision and finalize the deal. We're very happy with the overall car selection at Scotts, the personnel who helped us out, and the overall assurance/guidance that was provided.

Julia Martinka is outstanding at explaining as ll aspects of the benefits of the Jetta and was very helpful in arranging my out of state Registration change.She is a very good Representative of both VW and Scott Volkswagen and I will highly recommend her to people interested in a VW.

Short Story: Look elsewhere for your car shopping or service needs. I'm far from a complainer, but I've now had multiple occasions where Scott VW has screwed me out of money and tried to pull something shady, including the purchase and now the servicing of my car.Long Story:I bought my car from Scott Volkswagen in 2021, and have had it serviced numerous times since then.I first bought my car in April of 2021, and had a great experience doing so. About a week after I had owned my car, I received a call from Scott Volkswagen that they messed something up on their end, and that the price of the car needed to be raised. I believe they had claimed that they thought my car was eligible for a promo that it wasn't, so my monthly payments and purchase price would now need to be raised, after I owned the car for over a week and was attached to it.They claimed my options were to either a.) Comply with the price increase and have my monthly payments increased by a considerable amount, or b.) Take my old car back after I traded it in and now owned this new car for over a week. I didn't accept either of these changes, and they ended up letting me keep the car for the same price. After this experience, I continued going to Scott VW for servicing due to my car's warranty, but this was clearly an attempt to suck more money from me after I had already owned the car.I've now taken my Passat to Scott's 4 or 5 times for service. Up until my most recent time, I've had fine experiences, but they've never been great experiences like I've had in the past with places like Balise in Warwick, Tasca in Cranston, etc.I recently had my car inspected by Scott Volkswagen, and was told my car could not pass due to a chewed up oil sensor cable, and I would need to get that repair done in order to have my car passed for inspection. This made no sense to me, so I ended up leaving and getting a second opinion at another dealership. This dealership told me the conclusion Scott Volkswagen came to made no sense, and I ended up getting my car re-inspected there and it passed with no issues.I then tried calling Scott Volkswagen this morning, and they told me a refund couldn't be issued due to the fact that "it's not their fault I paid for a second inspection", although in their words, my car could not pass inspection unless I completed a repair that they told me was necessary. The person who I spoke to on the phone then gave me the a number to the DMV, and basically told me there's nothing they can do.Overall, Scott Volkswagen is just a shady place that's now tried to screw me over for more money 2 times. For the most part, the employees have always been nice and I've never had a problem with them, but I will NEVER return back here. For anyone looking for VW repairs, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I bought a 2017 gti from them and I worked with Dennis Holley. I got to say I have bought a few cars from dealerships and the experience has always been dreadful but that was not the case here I showed up at 4 pm they close at 5 Dennis put a plate on and gave me the keys and let me take the car for a spin after I got back I sat down with him and we started the paperwork he made the process really easy and he stayed in touch with me through out the processI just want to thank them for their professionalism and making me feel at ease with my purchase I look forward to doing future business with them

James from this Volkswagen was terrible. Treated my friend and I like total garbage. Rude and dismissive to our questions and concerns. I say there should be a unanimous vote on whether he should keep his employment or not. Horrible human being. I hope you can live with yourself JAMES.

Selena was absolutely fantastic. I was having an issue with another dealer - just delays and the same story for two weeks in trying to get the car I wanted.In literally 2-3 hours from asking Selena if she could help, she had located the exact car I wanted, had a swap in place with the out of state dealer, the date of delivery 2 days later, and I picked up the car 3 days later.
