I shopped around before choosing Monroe. There was a promotion online for a full synthetic blend oil change with tire rotation for $74.99 plus a $10 rebate. I usually get my oil change from the dealership but again, I wanted to try a new place and Monroe is literally 2 mins from my home. I was charged about $110 for the service. I questioned the deal that I signed up for and was told that I was being charged the promotional rate and I was responsible for oil discard fees, other fees and taxes. Yes, I expect to pay taxes but the total doesn't match the promotion. I reviewed my receipt and I see no mention of the $74.99 promotional rate or $10 rebate. Also, I've never been charged hidden fees at other shops. Prices always include the fee for the discarding of the oil.I'll never return for services.

I needed a state inspection ASAP and most places were booked for several days. These guys were able to squeeze me in before work the very next day and they were extremely quick and efficient! Every employee I interacted with was helpful, friendly, and polite. I would definitely get my car serviced here again.

If you get an oil change here, which I don't recommend, make sure to tell them not to touch anything else on the car. The tech pretty much broke my rotors during an oil change. How does that happen? It got to the point where I asked to go into the shop to see what he was doing because I saw a piece of the rotor break and fall to the ground. Always go to your preferred local mechanic!

I just bought a new used car and my mechanic found a nail stuck in my tire, but they were out of network for the seller s insurance. Monro happened to be in network so I called the location and from start to finish the process was smooth and fast. Dropped my tire off on Saturday, ordered tire came in on Monday, immediately installed Tuesday within 30 minutes. Super thankful for the people at this location! I can now enjoy my car :)

I've been a customer for many years for oil changes and always received good service. However, I'm writing to share a different experience. I recently had a fluke accident in which an important ID card slipped thru the crack next to my emergency brake. It was impossible to get it out. I brought it in and Paul helped me and we retrieved it! He didn't even charge me. That's what I call exceptional customer service.

I needed to get car inspection done. The person at the desk was super helpful and polite. I dropped off my car in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. I was in and out without having to wait and the cost was only $55.

The staff at the shop were helpful, clear and had my tire repaired on time. The even put it back on the car and put the spare back in the trunk. Very helpful

Honest. Brought In for brakes last time. He didnot fix them because they were fine. He could have said your all set and charged me a couple of hundred, and I wouldn't have known. He told me they were fine

Scheduled an appointment, went in to confirm, guy behind the register in the big, bushy beard barely acknowledged me, just sort of grunted at me, like the caveman he looked like. Just walked away. Won't ever return.

Edit:Went back 8/12 for brake job, and Tiny got me in and out in less than 24 hour turnaround. They're the best!Ran over this bad boy pictured below right on Broadway and my tire ran out of pressure fast. Pulled right into Monro and Tiny had me in and out in less than 40 minutes. Excellent 5/5 service. I ll come here again for other needs! Tiny was awesome

Had an appointment for a state inspection. Appt. was @10:30. My car was taken right away and I was told 30-45 minutes for the inspection. Car passed and was done in 40 minutes. Great customer service, pleasant environment. I will be coming back for my next oil change and anything else I may need.

I was very pleased with the service I received at this location. The technician Joe, with whom I worked, scheduled my muffler repair on very short notice (on a holiday, no less), did the job very quickly, and it looked great! Compared to other shops, the price of a new muffler at Monro was a little higher, but it appears to be of high quality, and has a lifetime guarantee. If you want the job done right, and are willing to pay a little more for parts, Monro is the place to go!

Absolutely awful customer service. I brought my car in to get a tune up and a few parts replaced to fix an engine issue. I was told it was fixed, went to pick up the vehicle and the car wouldn't start. The employee assured me he would take care of it (I had just paid $662 a few moments prior so I should hope he would take care of it) first thing in the morning the next day and would give me a call. After waiting all day the following day without a vehicle after I had paid over 600 dollars for the repairs, no one had gotten back to me. So I called them and the employee working said that the guy I talked to last night didn't come in to work this morning and he (this other employee) was not informed of the issue, but that the car had started right up for him because he had to move it earlier in the day. I finally went down there to retrieve the vehicle, and the employee not once apologized for the inconvenience. In fact, he even seemed annoyed when I said that I wanted to take the car back and didn't want to wait for this other person to come in to work tomorrow as he claimed he would.I would avoid this place at all costs. There only seem to be about one or two people on staff there and no one knows how to treat customers. The guy that I initially dealt with that never ended up showing up looks like he's high or spacing out half the time when you try to talk to him. Absolutely awful.

So I needed a last minute oil change and called around in the AM to see who had availability I came across Monro in E Providence and this will be my go to for auto service. I have many places closer to me but their service is worth the 20 minute drive. The customer service was great from the initial phone call until I pulled out of their lot! The education I received while there was great - informative and not pushy. Thank you again Tiny (the assistant manager) you made my hectic morning a LOT less hectic !!

Traveling out of state for work and my oil light kept coming on, despite a change at my dealership back in NJ 6 weeks ago. Spoke to Tiny and he squeezed me in for an early appointment before I hit the road again. The other technician checked the oil level and then raised up the car to look for any leaks. Ultimately, they topped me off with 2 quarts and charged the bare minimum. The honesty and the customer service makes me want to move to Rhode Island! Thanks to this amazing crew for your outstanding and honest work. More businesses should operate like yours. Thank you!

If I could give 0 stars for my experience here I would. I dropped my car off at 8:40am on Friday with multiple issues. My AC needed work, I needed an oil change, multiple dashboard lights and sensor issues, needed my brake lights checked and fluids too. I discussed all of these issues with the mechanic and knew it would take a good amount of time to have all of this done. Around 4:30pm I called to get the status of my car and they said they needed more time. Knowing they closed at 6pm, I called again and they were closed. No one called me to let me know they closed shop and I had no idea the status of my car. I had to walk by the establishment to see my car locked inside and had to get someone to bring me home as I don t live in East Providence. Saturday morning around 11 I get a call and was told they couldn t pinpoint what was causing the check engine light to come on. They told me they did the oil change, THAT S IT, and was ready to go. When I took my car home I noticed they had not refilled my fluids nor did my brake lights like I requested. I took it to a different mechanic who was able to tell me all the issues my car had including an OIL PAN LEAK and transmission leak!! Why would this have not been discovered in the over 24 hours Munro had my car??? When they looked under the hood, none of my fluids were topped which they always do during oil changes. I m very disappointed with the service I received and also about not getting any updates about my car and not getting a call of them keeping my car over night. Will never go back.

So I scheduled an appointment for an alignment via the website. It then confirmed my appointment and put me in for 3:30. I got out early and drive over to see if they could get me in sooner. Only to be told that they couldn't get me in til Wednesday. So I told the guy that I was already scheduled for 3:30 and he said they don't use that. Well if that's the case, why have it. And his attitude was less then pleasant. So would I recommend them. Nope. I scheduled with another and getting it done today.

I dropped off a wheel and tire because I had a leak in the tire. Got a call that they had fixed it and let it sit overnight to make sure it didn t leak again. I went to pick it up and the manager wouldn t take any money. I gave him a few bucks just to thank him. Class act. I ll definitely bring my car back there for Service.

I've been here on 3 occasions for tire repair, an inspection, and most recently for a new set of tires & alignment. Service has always been great & quick turnaround too.Their online platform will provide you with a guaranteed quote for services and then let you book an appointment, I always appreciate when shops make it this easy.The new tires & the alignment had my 2011 dodge van driving like new. Fixed some steering wheel shake I'd been feeling for the past several months and overall felt great on the road.

I ve had my car serviced here and most recently I took it for emissions. I accidentally showed up to my appointment without my registration and employee still took me in after my appointment time. Service was timely and I received a call to notify me that my car was ready. I needed helped with a plate bolt randomly one day and they helped without charging me a penny.

I had an issue I was concerned about today and called all the Monro s close to me but everyone was booked for the day. I called back the one in East Providence, RI expressing my concern for my safety. I asked if someone can just a look for a minute under my car to see if it was safe to drive and the store manager agreed for me to go by. I did and it ended up just being a shield loose under my car and he tightened it up and took care of it. I remembered him from the Warwick store years ago and he told me he s been with the company for 41 years. He was the most kind, courteous and professional members of Monro I have ever had experience with. Thank you so much!

I come to this place for all my car maintenance needs! Sam is always accommodating to me, and even though he may have a full schedule, he always finds a way to squeeze my car into his day, provided I don't mind leaving it with him for a few hours. He has NEVER recommended any services I don't need, and I greatly appreciate his honesty. I've never once felt taken advantage of and genuinely feel like he treats people the way he would his own family. I trust Sam and this location for all my auto care needs and I would highly recommend their services to anyone. Thank you!

Really impressed with the service here. The manager brought me to the car to show me what was wrong, explaining everything so I'd be reassured and understand. Never condescending, just informative. Never had a problem with an oil change like at some other places. This is now our service station of choice even though we pass others to get here.

Absolutely awful customer service at the east providence location!!!! I've made an appointment for an oil change only to be called by the manager that I would need to have the date changed, which was fine, until I come in 3 minutes after they open for my appointment and I'm told I'm going to have to wait at least 2 hrs because there is someone in before me with an appointment? How can that be? They also said if I drop off my car all day they will be able to fix my service engine light. I left it there all day, only to be told that I have to go to a dealership to get it fix, when the manager told me they would be able to figure it out and fix it, the assistant is the one who acts like it's such a annoyance whenever a customer needs car service, which is what they are in business for.. Very few up with how I am treated here.
