Mello's was call by the police to change a flat tire because the police refuse to wait for my road side assistance that was getting the address to fix my tire ( Service that is included in my auto insurance). The towing guy asked for $45 dollars my card declined, but we told him I can get another card to pay in less then five minutes, he couldn't wait! when to talk to the police officer and we have no other options to but get in the towing truck to bring my car to my house and he took a payment of $207 in one minute with the credit card that we kept telling him we are going to use another card to pay. He could take the payment of $45 the same way, but the police and this company wanted to make more money for sure. That is what I call stealing to the public, super unfair ( you should see how he parked his truck and in less then five minutes unmounted my car took the payment with a different credit card ) and went to fish more $$$$

I requested a tow to a dealership for a leak from my transmission area. The driver took a look and didn't think it was serious and suggested I take it to his shop where I could get it looked at right away. Sure enough, mechanic brought car right in and diagnosed issue. He was honest and upfront with the work entailed. Saved me a lot of money by not going to dealership. Would definitely recommend them.

The man who answered the phone addressed me as a "motherfu**er" and hung the phone up on me after I inquired as to what I owed him for taking my car from an emergency situation. I needed the vehicle for an insurance claim, and never requested they towed the car as I had used AAA to call for Ray's Towing. Was refused and Mello's took my incinerated car without my consent. Absolutely abhorrent in a "professional" face to a terrible business. Would gift zero stars if possible.Service: Car towing

I would give zero stars if possible. Called for a jump start for a car with a dead battery at my home. They quoted a 30 minute response. I watched for them out my window every 5 minutes with no evidence of a car. Called after 2 hours, they claim they came to the house, saw the car, and beeped their horn. Nobody came so they left. I doubt they every arrived, they did not call or ring bell claiming "that is not our job" and refused to come back out. Horrible experience.

Mellos Towing is amazing great service very friendly. Also they have amazing mechanics and there prices are beyond fair and reasonable. I will be taking all my company vehicles here for service as well as to be fixed..

The worst tow truck driver i ever delt with,,office help was ok . Don't use them!!? Driver lied about bringing car to my home to try and get repairs done at his garage

My son was recently involved in a tragic accident in which Mello And sons was the tow company called to the scene.My family was and is so appreciative of the kindness that Mr.Mello showed to us.He went to the Police station on his own to try and help me to get my son personal effects back to our family as quickly as possible...he was compassionate and treated us as if we were a part of his own family.I know he has a business to run and treating customers well is good business,but this was exceptional and my wife and I are grateful that people like Mr.Mello are out there.

My mom got stuck on the side of the road last night an hour from the house in newport with a flat she dosnt have a smart phone so she called me and i gave her this number, I woke up and she was home, and told me all about how friendly and courteous dispatch and the driver were, they were quick to get there and even changed her tire for her in less then 10 minutes, thanks guys for helping get my family home I really appreciate it. :)

They answer the phone and already have a stick up their ass. Horrible to the customers. DO NOT USE. Would give them 0 stars if possible
