Fantastic work! We were sideswiped while parked overnight. A hit and run! Quonset worked with our insurance provider and the car looks brand new!

I have recently had my 2015 Taurus repaired at this shop. The manager, Melissa, carried herself with the utmost professionalism, making sure the car was inspected from head to toe, inside and out, leaving no stone left unturned. Her staff was also top-notch; Molly, being my poc was knowledgeable and attentive. I never had to call and ask the status of my repairs, as they were diligent in keeping me posted with daily updates and had my car back to me in a week.My car looks FKN AMAZING.

Quonset Auto Body is top-notch! Had a recent issue with car damage and Gordon quickly and expertly provided a detailed quote and took the time to explain my options and answer my questions. QAB does very good work. My family has used them a couple of times, and the results are immaculate.My rating is due to time.Upon receipt of my quote from my insurance company, as well as my having gone to there to schedule the repair (vehicle was briefly looked at), I was informed that the soonest opening was over 3 months away.My vehicle was drive able in the meantime.I dropped my vehicle off on a Monday, 3 months later. I was informed that "it should be ready by the end of next week". They arranged a fair price on a rental vehicle in the meantime (big plus for QAB to have that ability!)At the end of the following week, I called to arrange vehicle pickup.It hadn't been worked on. Apparently there was a parts supply issue.Isn't that something to be taken care of during the 3-month lead time?I call the next Friday (3 weeks now).Not ready.Call the following week, and told it should be ready Friday.It wasn't.All told, my vehicle spent 29 days there. My battery was dead flat the next morning after pickup, too, from having sat so long. Still trying to determine if the battery is toast, or can still be made reliable. (Have been putting it on a battery charger every night to try to condition it)They did great work, and the repaired sections look like new. Amazing work.But scheduling, in this experience, was very discouraging.

Went in for body rust repair, they don't do that. Asked about color matching and painting a body panel, they don't do that either. New management is apparently focused on accident repairs only.

Refused to even look at my car because I have state farm insurance. They told me no shop in Rhode island would take my insurance, which is crazy because they fixed my other car like 6 years ago with the same insurance, and the next shop I called said they would take my insurance just fine.

I recently brought my car to Quonset Auto Body after a minor incident. The office staff was courteous, helpful and efficient. Gordon came over to speak with me and was very polite, professional and reassuring about the work that would be done. My car looked beautiful when the work was completed, in a timely manner. Definitely, excellent work by a highly qualified staff. I will recommend Quonset Auto Body to my friends and family, and return there myself for auto body work and/or service, when necessary. Highly satisfied!

I have been going to Quonset Auto for years. I mainly go for mechanical work on an older car. I also know some people who have got in accidents and used their body shop. In all of these instances, the people at Quonset Auto were amazing. The people at the front desk are very knowledgeable and can answer all my questions about any service done. I've tried shopping around on a few occasions when my car needed an expensive repair and Quonset Auto always come back with the best price and friendly service. Regardless of what is wrong with a vehicle, it seems like they can handle it.

Over the years, Quonset Auto Body has taken care of me to the fullest extent. From my 1996 Chevy Impala SS and finding those discontinued parts to pass inspection, to my 2006 Nissan 350z making sure my aftermarket bumper is fitted and painted matched perfectly. I would like to take a moment to recognize a truly impressive auto body and mechanical shop, Quonset Auto body in North Kingstown Rhode Island. I have been here a few times due to some no fault accidents that occurred over the years. From walking in the door till their finished job I have never trusted any other group of people more with my car. Their work is flawless and they treat you like you re family walking through the door. If you re looking for perfection you have came to the right place, special shout out to the owner Gordon, you truly have an incredible staff and shop. I will not go anywhere else for body work.I used this company when I needed a new paint job for part of my car. They were transparent about cost and options and helped me figure out the best plan. They did a great job, my car looked great, was so clean, and I wasn't tricked into paying more than I needed.I need body work done and went to them with what is wrong with my car. They were honest about pricing, gave me some suggestions moving forward with insurance, and are working with me to fix what is needed on a time line I can afford.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I would highly recommend this business for auto body work. My car sustained extensive damage in an accident. The shop was very friendly and professional throughout the 5 weeks it was being repaired. They answered all questions, worked with my insurance company effectively and efficiently and kept me updated. The finished work was amazing. One of my children got into a fender bender with a friend of theirs. I brought the vehicle in to be looked at by Gordon who has worked on my other vehicles at different times over the years. He said he would take care of it and I trust him wholeheartedly. When I got my SUV back, it was not only fixed, it was washed, the tires and rims were shined up, the inside was vacuumed, and it was ready to go. The best part is Gordon took good care of me and charged a very reasonable price as I was paying out of pocket.The staff is always very nice as well. The work is always top quality, you get treated with respect, and you can never go wrong with the prices. Quonset Auto Body is hands down the best auto body repair shop in New England and I highly recommend it!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Let me tell you about my wonderful experience with Quonset Auto Body! My car ended up staying with them for almost five months, during which time they not only made the original hit and run damage repair, but ended up replacing my windshield. Parts were a problem, I'm sure many of you can relate to that. They were patient, they took good care of my car and went way above and beyond any expectation when it came to the windshield. Through all this time my car was carefully maintained and kept safely even when I needed it to use on occasion. If that wasn't enough, the parts delay created a problem for me in returning to Florida. Lou and his manager agreed to take care of my car and send it off with the auto transporter for me. They and everyone on their staff takes customer relations to a new level. Could not have possibly been more pleased with their service!Service: Body & Trim

I brought my car to Quonset Auto Body for repairs after an accident that caused a good amount of damage to the rear/right side of my vehicle. I can only say great things about my experience. This body shop has earned 5 stars for exceeding all of my expectations for the following:- Friendly staff & great customer service- Quality- Honesty- Transparency- TimelinessAnytime I called for an update they were able to answer all of my questions in full. They always called me to provide updates letting me know that they were on schedule. I always knew where my car was in the process of being repaired.I was amazed at quality of the work they did. My car sustained a good amount of damage to the back right corner. The car now looks brand new and it's impossible to tell that there was any damage to the car at all. It was nothing less of perfect.They didn't just do an amazing job, they also had my car ready ahead of schedule. I was back on the road in no time.This autobody shop is easily one of the very best, if not the best in the state. I cannot say anything bad about my experience Quonset Auto Body. You're vehicle is in good hands with them!

Quonset Auto Body did a great job making my car look as good as new. In addition, while I paid the bill, my wife prematurely drove off in her newly repaired car and left me without keys to my car. Gordon, the Quonset Auto Body shop owner, drove me to my home, a 45 minute drive, so I could retrieve my keys, and he drove me back to retrieve m y vehicle. Above and beyond!Service: Body & Trim

Quonset Auto Body did a wonderful job fixing my car. My Chevy's front left bumper was smashed during a hit and run and I'd heard from locals (and even the Chevy Dealer) that Quonset Auto Body was the best place to take my car.The owner, Gordon, takes great pride in his work and answered every one of my many questions! He called me every few days to give me updates and worked closely with my insurance provider (even though the insurance company had messed up my claim multiple times - Gordon was the one to sort out their mistakes). When the insurance company sent replacement parts with poor quality, Gordon refused to put them on my car and worked with my insurance company to acquire better replacements. He went the extra mile to ensure I had the best customer experience.My Malibu looks beautiful - they did a full detail. They also have a full paint shop so the metallic red that is very hard to match looks perfect. You could never tell the car has been in an accident. The car also handles perfectly.I would recommend Quonset Auto to anyone and I won't take my car anywhere else from now on. Best customer service I've had in Rhode Island!

My experience could not have been better. From having rental car service on site to excellent communication, Quonset Auto Body was an absolute pleasure to work with. The initial appraisal was very clear about what my vehicle needed, and I received timely and informative information while my vehicle was being worked on. Their email notification system worked very well, and it was nice to have several updates after I dropped it off. The condition of my vehicle when I picked it up was outstanding. The entire car was detailed, inside and out. It's definitely in better condition than when I dropped it off. Great job Quonset Auto Body!

Quonset Auto Body is exceptional in their customer service. I needed a repair to my car and decided while it was in the shop to have regular maintenance taken care of. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The work completed is 5 star for sure.Do yourself and your vehicle a favore and have a full detail. I brought my car in to have my windshield replaced. They also did an outstanding job of cleaning my car inside and out. It looks like it s brand new! We have been customers for years and they always exceed our expectations! Many thanks to Gordon, Lou and the outstanding staff at Quonset Auto Body!

We ve had occasion to use Quonset Auto Body 3 times since moving to North Kingstown 17+ years ago. Each time, they ve done a terrific job restoring our vehicles. The first, a tree fell on our car crushing the rear-quarter; the second, we were rear-ended. This time it was a freak accident with our 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid! Lou worked with our insurance adjuster and Lisa kept us updated along the way. The damage was not only exterior, but also the various sensors in the front end and cameras in the rear. We are extremely happy with the results on every level! This week, the car needed warranty work at the Ford dealer. They were very impressed with the quality of the job done! Excellent, excellent, excellent. I will continue to come back here as they have superb customer service and do an amazing job with their body repair work. Not to mention, your car comes back to you detailed clean which is much appreciated. Gordon is great to work with, friendly, understanding, and honest, which you do not find at other auto body shops around this state. I can't say enough about Quonset Auto Body and would highly recommend to friends and family (which I have!)

Quonset Auto Body and Gordon, the owner, are the best around! Gordon ensures great customer service and excellent auto body work. I've brought my cars to Quonset Auto Body several times, and they always look brand new after the work is done. Gordon handles the paper work and communication with the insurance adjuster, and makes the whole experience completely satisfactory. I also like the relationship they have with the local Hertz so I can rent a car easily while my car is being worked on, and they make it convenient to do it from Quonset. Overall, I highly recommend Quonset Auto Body.

I brought my 2012 Toyota RAV 4 in after an accident that had extensive rear damage. Gordon and his team are absolutely amazing. When i picked up the car, it was like brand new and i couldn't even tell the car was damaged. The car was detailed when i picked it up and the customer service is wonderful. I would highly recommended Quonset Auto Body for your vehicle if it be body damage or mechanical issues, they handle it all and all the work is mere perfection when complete. Again, hats off to Gordon and his team!!!

Quonset Auto Body repaired and painted the engine hood on my car about 4 months ago. My Jeep is a 2001 Grand Cherokee. I am not a car nut, seldom wash it but the car is clean and I do mechanical repairs quickly as needed. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a small spot about the size of quarter in the new paint job. This was a pre-existing hole which was Quonset repaired prior to the new pint job. When I brought the car back and spoke with Lou to see if he could just patch-up and just touch-up the spot. He told me not to worry, bring the car back Wednesday for hood replacement. He explained he would get a good used hood, make repairs and paint it up like new. I was stunned as I thought it was an easy fix to patch the hole only and keep it simple. Quonset Auto made all repairs and paint job for Free!! Then I recalled what Lou said to me earlier, "you paid to have the hood patched and painted once already and we try to make the customer happy should we miss something".Thanks Lou, nice work!Pete

Excellent business all around. I use Quonset Autobody for mechanical services like oil changes alignments, and engine issues. The staff is awesome, the work is always done on time and price is more than fair.

An exceptional experience from start to finish! Of course, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, but Gordon was ALSO knowledgeable and CONCERNED (for my financial well-being) about how my insurance was involved! While I hoped to get sound recommendations on a mechanical fix (exceeded expectations, to be candid), I also received insightful and helpful suggestions on how to deal with my insurance (Quonset Auto Body apparently deals with insurance pretty often... and they were more than willing to share tips and tricks!!). As someone new to the area, I was VERY grateful this shop came recommended! I m not sure I would ve found it on my own, but I will certainly be relying on them for my Auto Body needs going forward!

Hate to say it ,but I have been to Quonset Auto Body three times in 15 years. They use factory original parts and all the cars lines are perfect when they're done. They do it like they would do their own car. Also my vehicle was washed, polished in and out. On my way out I had mentioned I was going to get my oil changed and they said they would do it for zip . How nice is that.
