I brought my car here for routine service while I was on a lease and continued afterward because I knew I was moving out of the area and was too lazy to find another mechanic.The bad: Not sure how they managed this, but after moving, I found out that I should have had several maintenance services done that they did not bring up over the last 3 years. The new dealership alerted me to this on my first oil change after moving and even showed me that they come up in the computer system automatically according to the mileage on the vehicle.Other issues that occurred, which I post here for other women- nobody was overtly rude to me, but this is unfortunately something to watch out for with car mechanics generally:1. Got a mirror replaced after a snow plow smashed it off. Get in the car to drive away and there is some serious distortion that's extremely obvious. Drive back in, had to argue with the two service consultants that the mirror was indeed defective, and they didn't believe me until one got into the car and started driving it.2. Went in for a battery check because on startup the interior lights were flashing and it took a while for the engine to turn over. They keep the car overnight, claimed they tested the battery twice and said it was "completely fine." The problem persisted, I brought it back a couple weeks later and lo and behold the battery was dead and needed replacing.Good: The guy who helped me figure out a tire replacement was awesome, answered all my questions, helped me decipher online reviews and hooked me up with tires with an excellent warrantee.They were never rude and they were flexible about dropoff and pickup which was nice, but I tolerated my other concerns being brushed off for too long and paid for it later. 3 stars for him and for how easy it was to drop off and pick up!

I just purchased a 2020 Rav4 at Tarbox Toyota.First went to their web site to requested a quote for a model I was interested to buy. Received a quick response by email with a very good price. We visited Tarbox the next day on Sunday where they honored the price and gave a very good trade-in on my 2013 Rav4. Finance was easy with a good percentage rate and there was a great selection of coffee while the paperwork was being processed.Personnel were all very knowledgeable as well as attentive to answering all my questions. Salesmen paired my phone to the car with android auto. And I drove off with my new car that same afternoon.Best car buying experience ever!

I have no doubt that the people who change my oil here do an incredibly thorough job. But over two hours sitting in an uncomfortable chair. And to top it all off I walked to the counter. And asked. How much longer? Miraculous the girl walked in with my paperwork. You're all set. Coincidence? Maybe.

No customer service unless you do business there all the time! Visiting from out of State for elderly mom, paint starts to peel and I'm told find another dealership they are too busy! Not a way to get or keep customers! Had to wait three days for a return call! Never received a call when I followed up they said call someone else! If they told me that before I wasted three days for a callback would have been helpful!

I had a wonderful experience at Tarbox Toyota purchasing a new vehicle! There were two less than 5 minute phone calls that preceded my visit and the vehicle I inquired about was out and ready to show when I arrived. I was there for a total of 90 minutes between showing me the new car, valuing my trade, and getting financing. Anna, Rick and Jess made the whole process painless.Left with the car that day, no fuss. I was expecting to lose a whole day there but was out so fast I even beat the local restaurants to being open for lunch!Nice people, fast service. 10/10 would purchase from them again without hesitation!

Justin and the service team at Tarbox are consistently amazing. They take such good care of our cars that we have been driving 90 minutes to bring our cars to them since moving from East Greenwich in 2018 and it is so worth it. Justin is responsive, professional, knowledgeable and exceeds expectations every time. Thank you to the entire team. I have taken my car to get the last two maintenance reviews and had a great service. The consultants are always cordial, fast check-in, nice and clean waiting area (2 floors) with coffee, water and tea, as well as popcorn and a vending machine. There is a little area as far as play room for the kids.

They are the best. I am always in and out. They explain everything are very courteous. I am handicapped and they always go the extra mile to make sure I don't have to walk to far to my car. I will definitely continue with Tarbox Toyota sales and service.

I originally leased my 2019 Highlander from Valenti Toyota. I was sold on the small town dealership and the free oil changes. BIG mistake! I would never lease or buy a vehicle from Valenti ever again! Not only do you need to make a four week appointment for an oil change, they charge you for a car wash(17$). What a joke. To buy my lease out was a circus and they made this a two day project. This brings me to Nucar Tarbox. I leased my Tacoma from Tarbox and bought my lease out in May and it was super easy. I went back to Tarbox to see if they could buy my Valenti lease out. While sitting down with finance, Geoff in service was able to accommodate my Highlander for an oil change on the spot and also offered to wash the vehicle(free of charge) while I was there. I worked with Mike Silva in finance and the guy was great! Professional, easy going, and efficient. He said that buying my lease out was an easy process even from another dealership. In and out of there in a little over an hour. My lease was bought out, my vehicle was serviced and washed by the time I was done! Don t be fooled by thinking this is a big dealership and you re just a number . Far from that. As I sat for a few minutes waiting to speak with finance, several people asked if I needed anything. Bruno in sales sat and chatted with me for a while. Super down to earth guy and professional. Just a fantastic experience at Nucar Tarbox! Highly recommended.Service: Oil change

Absolutely love this place! You pull in, tell them your problem, and they fix it. Friendly. Reasonable. Great waiting area. I have used this dealership through 3 cars now, and have zero complaints. Double my service price after I dropped it off the night beforeI was upset before I went back to retrieve my vehicle. The gm and service supervisor made it right. They are really nice and helpfull. I would still highly recommend this dealership. I've bought 3 vehicles in the past 5 years and have nothing but good things to say about the customer service.

Maintenance required message was on. Thought it was an oil change but it was for an overdue tire rotation. Reviewed status of tires (10k life left) and was given a quote on three different tires. Nucar was just doing a simple tire rotation for me when they found that a rodent had chewed almost all the way through one of my engine wires. Jon notified me of the situation and recommended that I go through my insurance since it would be so expensive. The process from then on was as smooth as can be. Once the part was in, they took my car in, gave me a complimentary rental and it was fixed in 2 days. I would recommend this shop a a million times over, but would recommend Jon specifically for caring so much and helping the process go so smoothly.Service: Engine repair

The technician who checked me in was very professional and very helpful. It took less time than I thought it would. I also came back after hours because my Prius key battery had died. No one was in the service deck, but I looked in the window where they do repairs and knocked. A young man who was lovely told me what to do, opened my key showing me how to change the battery. That was beyond the call of duty for him and I m very appreciative. I was able to do it myself with his guidance. Otherwise I would ve been lost. We took the car in for its 10k miles maintenance service. It was done within the time-frame they gave us even though it was extremely busy. They also washed it and vacuumed the interior. At 51 years, I m now a two-time (new car) buyer from the business, and will be for a third time, I m certain.So far, at every turn, I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of my experiences. Whether it s over a little haggling on the asking price (yes, I maintain my old-school negotiations persona, even if it grants only a few bucks, at least I feel the company worked with me somewhat, and such a feeling as that still counts for a lot!), or whether it s connecting on options within finance, or the great service/maintenance departments, the dealings within any of the situations here feel highly professional and are always well executed.On my most recent visit, things were no different,Upon my arrival, I think a foreman took the time and initiative to immediately call me over to him for service, at what seemed a centrally located kiosk. My service visit was since delegated very responsibly.Some of the other great nuances lie within how absolutely above and beyond the service rep I did receive then handled my situation, and from start to finish.As soon as he was called and directed to take over, he stepped up with with a sincere sense of wanting to help me out. From that point onwards, I was treated as a gentleman, by a fellow gentleman, and one who brought deference and respect to the occasion. Even more impressive and refreshing, he leant something that s missing most of these days: old-fashioned, kind and humble appreciation.This is another great (albeit vague) feeling to experience as a customer, and perhaps rewarding to all sides.I believe this type of sentiment within a company needs to be a fostered culture. Thankfully, it is prevalent company wide Were ever I seeking employment, and if ever they d have me, I d gladly apply within!Incidentally, I also needed to obtain another key fob, so I inquired about that process during the same visit. In the end, even though the gentleman representative could not get a neighbor department to resolve that concern on that particular day, he still offered to make arrangements to that end. Just another great example!He even took time to cover the presented paper work and was willing to explain vehicle diagnostics, as well as terms and conditions.And one final note, waiting within the designated area, when the representative did finally arrive to contact me, he sought me out directly, and did so with an air about him that seemed to express continued courtesy and respect, especially for one s personal space, as if aware not to abruptly interrupt, noticing I was working remotely from of my laptop computer.Within the realm of the service industry, these levels or conscientiousness and courtesy are jjust something one does not see in many other places.Most incredible!Respectfully and with loyalty,-David E. Vehicle required significant work regarding power steering and braking. Initially the work completed required a return trip to the service department. Service tech listened to my concerns, provided us with a beautiful Corolla rental, and within a few days had my Tundra running like it just came off the factory floor. I was very pleased with the professional and efficient manner in which the issue was resolved. TARBOX NUCAR dealership is just phenomenal. Courteous, professional, helpful, positive & enthusiastic conversation about the car. What I really liked from the last time I was there is the phone message about contacting the person who signed you in. That is a great way to communicate. Great idea as well. However, not surprised from a car dealership where I purchased all my cars , as well as having them serviced there too. Gold Star service department. Second to no one! They fixed a sensor on my tire and rotated tires, change wiper blades and an oil change. I asked for a complimentary car wash and vacuum. I did not receive it nor did my husband on his last visit. My back wiper blade is ripped and never changed. Now I have to go to Autozone and do the job myself. Everyone was friendly, helpful. and kind especially on a rainy day, but ultimately the job I asked for wasn t done.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went to see a Highlander that was on the dealers website yesterday. The site posted an upfront discounted price which seemed fair. Contacted the web specialist, he confirmed the car was still available.My wife and I went to see the car particularly to see if the seat and interior color was what we wanted as a possible replacement for an older highlander we own and like. We were considering a purchase if everything went right.In the end, we decided to go forward once a concern whether this SUV Platinum/Limited version could have a hitch and 7 way standard camper trailer connector plug for electric trailer braking and power to trailer was confirmed to be possible. A different dealer told us it was not possible that same day even though the Toyota brochure indicates it can if the hands free hatch opening feature is disabled. The deal came together very fast and professionally.Our Salesperson Hass was very professional, knowledgeable and moved quickly. Also, The facility was dog friendly which was nice since we brought our dog and it was warm outside. The whole visit and paperwork was under 2 hours. It is the first time my wife has said something positive about buying a new car without all the sales drama and over the top haggling to get to a fair price. She usually feels both hostage and anxious due to sales drama at dealerships as she did earlier yesterday at another dealership in the area.

When we have our car serviced at Tarbox Nucar, we never receive anything less than excellent care. And we found out how spoiled we are with your hours and availability. While in Colorado recently, we realized that we would be very close to the 10k service that we needed. My wife attempted to contact the Toyota Dealership in Glenwood Springs to make sure we could stop by. First, it took five calls, as she only got the voicemail. After finally reaching the service department, she was informed that we could not just stop by and that they were scheduling appointments from September 24th and later. This was on August 31st! My wife explained that it only needed the 10k mile checkup, which was tire rotation and oil change. No go, and she didn't seem to care. What would it have taken to squeeze us in? My windshield was cracked and they suggested I try my insurance to pay. While in for a headlight repair, the crack got longer and Tarbox replaced the windshield for free; even letting me have a loaner car.
