We purchased our first Toyota Highlander several years ago from Nucar Dealership in North Kingston. During our visit for routine maintenance on our Highlander, we visited the showroom and was so impressed with the new Toyota Highlanders we purchased another Highlander. The sales staff was professional and knowledgeable. The deal we got was incredible where we could not refuse it. The general manager in sales Tom, and our sales person Joe were very easy to work with. There was no pressure in purchasing this vehicle. On the day we were supposed to pick up the vehicle. We decided to upgrade to a more expensive Highlander with more.Options. They made it very easy for us to purchase another highlander with other options that we wanted. Of course it was more expensive but on the other hand. The deal for upgrading Was even better than the previous deal. I would highly recommend Nucar Toyota In North Kingston

Car received in less than 30 days in the color I wanted with the options I wanted. Very upfront, honest and transparent company that does not markup over MSRP for a vehicle that has been (and still is) in short supply for over 3 years. Decent deal in my trade in as well!

I highly recommend Kyle Gilbert at Nucar Toyota if you re looking for a car! Super friendly, no use of high pressure sale tactics, and I was able to get into my dream car. Kyle made the whole process easy and everyone at the dealership was awesome. (And they re dog friendly )

This dealer sells lemons and cons you into buying bumper to bumper warranty that expires in no time, thier service management is inferior and lacks social appttitude. Buyers beware do not buy here you will regret every second of it. My vehicle was sold with a windshield damaged and now collects rainwater by the ounces. Will post images to follow post ,this is how I live during rain events,Thus past summer the vehicle was abandoned in thier parking lot for two weeks and was ignored during the negligence it grew mold and was not addressed professionally at all. Worst dealer experience in existence will never buy here again

Service is always friendly, prompt and professional I purchased my Highlander at the dealer in 2016 and have been getting all my service done there. Every experience has been excellent. I feel like the service techs go above and beyond, and I don t feel like they re ever taking advantage or charging extra. Highly recommend!

I have my car detailed once a year and decided to have it done twice this year. Every time they do a fantastic job and I always feel like I have a new car! This time however I was extremely disappointed. The middle console had a green slime throughout . It looked like someone started cleaning it and forgot to wipe it out! The cup holders were dirty and never touched. ( see photo). As I was driving home on the highway I noticed something black flapping under the front hood. I pulled over and they had left a black cleaning cloth under the hood. I was happy it didn t catch on fire! Like I said I have ALWAYS been extremely satisfied but this time was terrible.

I haven't had to buy a car since 2014, so I was nervous about the process. BUT!!!! They made it sooo easy! Joe was great! He answered all of my questions an helped me find the right fit for me! Mike was great too!! He helped us with financing and worked with us with what we could afford with no pressure!! This was the best car buying experience I've had yet! :)

Long wait but got a drive right in appointment to get oil change and rotation done along with cabin filter changed without a regular scheduled appointment. Had issue with oil change after I got home. Drove the car several days later and noticed oil cap was off. Called service spoke to John and Service Mgr Eric told me that they would redo oil change, clean engine and a courtesy full car detail for my inconvenience when I brought my car back. Plus gave me a 2024 Rav 4 loaner car to use. Awesome customer service and a happy customer at Nucar. Thanks to John, Eric and Staff.

Most honest, reliable dealership ever. They take the best care of my car and never charge me for something I don't need. I always see the same faces when I go which means it must be an awesome place to work too. Keep it up!!!!! Extremely happy

I've been coming here for oil changes and regular maintenance since 2007 and service is mostly always 5 star. I recently bought a new Camry and took it in for its first oil change but, when I went to use my windshield wiper fluid a few days later, I noticed it had not been refilled though I did ask if they would top off all fluids. Even still, I would recommend them over all.

Tarbox sent e mail on a specific truck at a great price on Thursday and I set up an appointment to see it on Monday. Of course I got the text on Monday morning that the truck was sold over the weekend. Went and looked at what they had on the lot and all trucks were at least 20% higher in price. Typical bait and switch. Will never buy from them

My car needed to be towed to Tarbox on the weekend. On Monday morning I was called by a very respectful man who told me he would be in touch with me throughout the day regarding the progress of the car. Also, Christopher Van Loon worked on my vehicle. He is very knowledgeable And relates well to the customers. I bought my car in 2018 and I have been having it serviced there since that time. I have always been very pleased with your services.. They even wash the car for me! Great job to all of you!

We had our 2011 Toyota Tundra towed to them for rodent damage on the main wire harness from the fuse box to the engine bay. They worked with our insurance company and got the entire job done in about a week. They were fantastic and took care of everything.

My experience with Nucar Tabox was that I was certainly impressed with the next level customer service and professionalism.I will certainly be back for my next vehicle and I will definitely�recommend Nucar Tarbox to others. The savings on my purchase was worth the trip from Long Island, New York, just under 2 hours once you get off the Bridgeport Ferry.

The service department is useless. Brought my 2013 Tundra in for a diagnostic. I was having a misfire for a long time that would come and go. I told the guy in service the steps I had taken trying to fix it myself. Truck was in limp mode and running on 7 cylinders. They told me they reflashed the computer and the truck was all set. I picked the truck up drove 5 minutes, and had 9 codes come up on my hand held code reader. Reluctantly returned the truck to them! The next phone call said I need a new engine due to a head gasket failure with a price for replacement already established @ $14,700. Truck never overheated once or lost a single drop of coolant. This truck has been perfectly maintained. So I took it home and tore into it myself. Did a compression test showing 75 psi on cylinder #2. 150 psi on all other cylinders. So I took the valve cover off to find a cracked intake valve spring and a missing keeper. I'll give you one guess who had their hands on that cylinder head back in 2019. So your telling me that if I didn't have some mechanical back ground they would have charged me for a whole new engine not to mention the endless amount of things they would have not put back together correctly because they are total failures at what they do. Maybe they were trying to steal my truck with hopes of me trading it in? Giving the best brand the worst name is terrible for Toyota business. Shame on them. Take the ride to Westerly and save yourself the headaches of full fledged incompetence. Run don't walk away from this place.

Evan was my salesman and acted in a highly professional manner during the entire buying process, which involved test drives on 2 different weeks. This is the 2nd new Toyota which I ve purchased from Tarbox-NuCar in 4 years and both were great experiences. In addition, their service department has gone above and beyond during a number of visits. This is great dealership to do business with!

My experience at Nucar Tarbox Toyota, North Kingstown RI on 15-16 Nov 23 was exceptional and satisfying. Nick Tarbox was my service advisor who explained to me what was recommended to fix the alternator issue with my 2010 Toyota Highlander 4Dr (150,336 miles). I felt very comfortable with him as my service advisor. This dealership is very good. I bring my to Tarbox consistently for the 5,000 mile services. The service advisors at Tarbox who I have encountered are, without exception, very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful.

We differently received a good deal on our new vehicle. However did not like how we were forced to finance a portion of the cost. We wanted to pay cash but in order to get more for our trade in we had to finance at least $10,000. Did not receive temporary plate and registration when we picked up our on December 15TH was contacted a few days later when we were email them for us to print ourselves. Then we were then contacted on December 27th and was told that we had to go to get CT vin verification because they couldn t register our vehicle until they had it. I sure this isn t the first time Nucar 251 has registered a vehicle out state. Not very efficient on your end.

Great place to buy or lease, many choices and friendly staff. Good service and very clean place. A very high end looking dealership that aims to please. When the car shortages were happening, this dealership didn't price gouge it's customers by adding $7000 to the sticker like most scumbag dealers were doing. They said they didn't want to take advantage of their customers during an already horrifying pandemic and wants to continue a reputation of integrity. I Highly recommend this dealership!

I m so glad I stopped in I had a recall on my air bags. I called and was able to schedule for next day service. Upon arrival I was explaining some strange feelings I was having with my car, the technician was very understanding as I was explaining it to them because of no light being on. They fixed my car within a 2 hour timeframe and although they did not experience the feelings I had with my car during them driving it they was able to reset my ECU and the feeling has not returned. And they waived the charge.And throughly explained it could have been from someone else driving it and they drive differently. I m so thankful for this as it was driving me nuts over the last few months. Most people will tell you to avoid the dealership when fixing a problem but from now on I m only going to this location for my Toyota needs.
