In the year 2023 from January to early may they had my car a 2014 elantra for 3 and a half months to find a busted catalytic converter. Unreal amount of time and from all in the business I talk to very unacceptableAll I have documentation ofSomething that should have taken maybe a week or twoGot the car back , the front wheels were shaking , something that wasn t there before. They took it backRotated the tires and they gave it backOnce again Minutes upon driving it home the steering was not normal at all and I brought it back to let them know within 2 hours.A problem I did not have before bringing it to them.When they for the 3rd time took it back went from it needs an alignment to the front tire hubs were bent to there s nothing wrong.Mind you I at that time had an extended warrantyAlso claimed they had shop foreman drive it .Well I m here to post today not only did 3 private mechanics with in 2 days find multiple issues Hyundai clearly didn t bother checkingThey were major2 frozen brake calipers ... how do you miss that?And the power steering described as unsafe beyond 30mph and failingSomething felt as SOON AS THE CAR IS MOVINGWas told by all it would probably cost thousands to fix since the whole steering assembly would have to be taken apart since Hyundai couldn t take the time to at all see the issues that took me and the mechanics a simple turn of the key and a 5 min driveIt took one drive each place to find itThis post is not only to warn folks who buy and expensive extended warranty to beware because clearly I paid for a piece of paper but now it s expired as of October and I now have a car that is UNSAFE to drive outside local use.Will be letting the BBB know and looking at legal options and attorney generals office as it s a bit weird every mechanic besides them found the issue in mere days.Total time they had my car in 2023 just sitting there 3 and a half months.Mind you this isn t the first time with tarbox I ve had issues after being sold a straight up lemon 2009 Corolla in 2017 that they told me was fine.. that car ended up frying on the side of the highwayVery angry , disappointed and will be telling anyone and everyone to beware

Update -- they got back in touch and offered to honor the price I saw, which I greatly appreciate. I'm going to take it for a test drive tomorrow. Old review: My limited dealings with this dealership left a bad taste in my mouth. I got in touch about a car I had seen online and started the process of setting up a test drive. They emailed a few days later to tell me that their sister dealership had set the price incorrectly and it was actually more expensive than listed. Would not honor the price they originally displayed. Will not be doing any further business with them. This kind of shenanigans is exactly why car dealerships have a bad rep.

Service at Nucar/Tarbox has always been efficient and convenient. I bought my 2015 Tacoma brand new from Tarbox, and I've had it serviced at the dealership at the recommended service intervals ever since. Appointments are easy to schedule online or by phone. Service is almost always right on time. The waiting area is quiet, clean, and comfortable. No distracting TV with daytime programming drivel blaring away in the background. When the time comes I'll buy my next Tacoma pickup from this dealership. That said, it's a Tacoma so that may not be for several more years.

Best dealership I've ever dealt with. Easy process and I didn't feel pressured or cheated. Took 10 minutes to make a deal and I bought a 2017 Toyota Tunda for a great price. Honest staff and I'll buy there again!

It was the Worst experience I've had there. I've been bringing my car in for oil changes for the past 3 years all other times with no issues. This last time I brought it in for my scheduled appointment when it was finished after waiting 2 hours i was charged a completely different price then was quoted by more then 10 dollars when I tried to address the issue to the lady I was treated very unprofessional and rudely she told me it's only a few dollar to get over it. Every question I asked her I was told that I was asking questions that she could not answer nor did she want to get me someone that could. I was never told where my car was when done

My inspection sticker ran out and I didn't realize it. I love that they do same day inspections without an appointment. I did have to wait awhile but they were great. The next day my blinker wasn't working, I pulled up and they replaced it asap. The waiting area is spacious with coffee and accommodations while you wait. Everyone was friendly and helpful

When I make an appointment for any type of service it's my understanding that when I arrive on time, it's my turn. Unfortunately that's not the case at Nucar Hyundai. I waited 2.5 hours yesterday afternoon for an oil change that cost $61.58 and is listed on my invoice as "express lube service." I imagine the oil change itself is fine (I hope it is, since the price increased nearly 45% since my last visit 3000 miles ago) but my experience was very disappointing. I actually looked online while I waited to see if there's a different Hyundai dealership I could use for service in the future but there is not one within a reasonable distance. It feels as though my Santa Fe and I are stuck in a bad marriage with Nucar for the time being.My husband and I have been Hyundai owners since 2006 and the typical wait time for an oil change at this dealership was always less than an hour (appointment or not) under Mr. Tarbox's leadership. That oil change also included a free manicure and a complimentary car wash and vacuum, which was always appreciated. In short, we were treated like valued customers. Apparently Nucar has chosen to make changes, and not for the better. My experience today was extremely disappointing, and the worst part is that I don't have any option but to return there for my service needs.In the past we have highly recommended Tarbox Hyundai to our friends and family members. Now that this location is under new ownership, I can no longer recommend it. And now that it's time to replace that Hyundai we purchased in 2006, we are considering other options.

Rating the service, not the dealer as I have no experience purchasing cars here.Service is easy to schedule, and well organized when you drop off the car. The service area looks like a little town, very cool. Waiting area has 2 floors, coffee and comfy seats.

These guys are pros. The operation is clean, efficient, ethical, and just solid overall. I have been coming here for several years now, since it was Tarbox, and I've never even been slightly annoyed or put off. Great place. Will be back.

Bought a new Hyundai Kona from Tarbox. Was lied to about interest rate and rebate and the fact that anything I paid over my payment would go to the principal. It doesn't. You have to call Hyundai finance and make a second payment and stipulate it's for the principal. Hyundai finance said they get a dozen calls per day with the same problem. Finance managers lie about it to everyone.Every time. Went back in and spoke to finance manager who told me you can do it from the app but had no idea how. Car delivered with no walk through.I legitimately feel like I was completely taken by this dealership and will never buy anything from them again.

I had an appointment for my car inspection and arrived at 12:50pm. The service area was, as usual, immaculate. I was greeted immediately by Stephen Winters the service technician and went to the waiting room.At 1:25 pm, I was on the road again with the inspection complete. Stephen was very polite, friendly and professional.

Nice people and they care about the customers experience all the way through the car hunting experience. Knowledgeable sales force and they aren't gouging their customers but rather showing loyalty instead of greed! Very impressed with this dealership and the way they treat you, even during this really tough time to find a vehicle!

I have always had great service, when I have brought my car in. The guys I have dealt with it the service department have always come out to inform me of anything I didn't bring the car in for, that might need to be serviced and have told me how much it would cost, leaving the decision to me, if I wanted to have the additional work done.I also have had serviceman come out to the waiting area to give me an update on how much longer I might be there.The service department never fails to go over and beyond to provide the absolute best service and is so respectfully to the customer. My car is a 2013... I have had all my service done at Tarbox Hyundai, and have never had a bad experience.Great job, service department

Very nice staff. The waiting area is very comfortable and has free coffee for guests. Got my nails done while our car was serviced. Barbara did a great job and was super friendly!

Tarbox fixed my Toyota highlander. The customer service was great during the time and they gave me constant updates. When I picked up my vehicle after being informed it was completed there were several things that were not completed and something else was broken. I brought it back and they were able to fix 2/3 of the new problems. I wish they had confirmed prior to calling me that everything was fixed or had someone come with me to view the car once I picked it up.

Reasonable wait time for tire rotation. Courteous service as usual. Comfortable,large,well lit and warmly heated customer service waiting lounge area. Prefer service here rather than the cheaper priced chain outlets.

I had to take my vehicle in for multiple recalls and was dreading it; thought I would be there forever. I was there for a while but pleasantly surprised with the attentive staff who made sure to update me on everything. They went above and beyond what they were supposed to do. Will recommend to others!
