We bring all of our family/company vehicles here. It's can be hard finding a trustworthy mechanic... you don't have to worry about that with B&C Auto!

I contacted B&C Auto yesterday, who were completely booked up, but they were kind enough to take pity and fit me in after I received an outlandish quote of $4,177 from Ocean Newport Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The dealership gave my wife an astronomical quote for a litany of things which apparently weren t necessary to fixing her Jeep Wrangler. At the recommendation of a friend, I went to B&C and they remedied a dirty valve for $141. I cannot praise their professionalism and honesty enough. Also, I cannot condemn that other dealership and their counter person (Jordan) for his underhanded, money grifting tactics that I didn t want to believe existed anymore, but clearly are alive and thriving. Thank you to everyone at B&C Auto You guys are the best!!!!

Amazing shop! They are personable, knowledgeable, and highly trusted.I brought my car here after a different shop was trying to rip me off, and B&C Auto was able to save the day. I will always bring my vehicles back here in the future!

Always rock solid! Been taking my cars here for over 14 years. I moved to Newport around then and then never went anywhere else. There are fast and honest. Family owned and operated. They always give you a fair price. Plenty of other mechanics around but B&C Auto is def the place you can trust!

B&C was so accommodating. We were in from out of town and had car issues the day we were suppose to leave. They were able to get us in right away. Their staff was super friendly and knowledgable. Our mechanic explained everything he was doing, very trustworthy which is refreshing to experience at an auto repair shop. He got us fixed and on the road quickly, he also took the care to make sure other areas of the car were running properly for our 9 hour drive home. Im driving across the United States from California. The screws that hold my under body splash cover were failing and the cover was hanging down. I had no tools on me and so had to rig it temporarily with a rope. I called B&C and the gentleman told me to come in around 12:30. Though they were quite busy, he was able to get my cover screwed on securely. It wasn't a big fix but it was extremely kind how they took care of me and had me out within 25 minutes. I asked him how much $ and he said "don't worry about it." 5 stars all the way. God bless you and your business.

Had antifreeze hose leaking liquid. Called the shop, lady answered was Alyssa. She was very nice on the phone, said I could bring it down and they would have look at it. Got there about 4pm (they close at 5pm) said they could work me in. Waited less than an hour and it was fixed. Would go back, and recommend. I am a transplant to RI. I was referred to this shop by a co-worker who has been doing business with them for years, I went online to checkout some their reviews, they were very positive. This is my second visit with them, they are the most courteous and honest business conglomerate I have ever dealt with in Rhode Island, and that's say a lot. I can't say enough about them, from initial contact, through and after the job completion, the professional and just plain common courtesy is so remarkable. I will take every vehicle that I own to this place from hence forth. On a side note, I inquired about delicious looking box of pastries on the counter because of the odd shape and filling, turns out its a "Whoopie Pie" a staple of RI, the ladies quickly offered, and I gladly excepted. It was delicious! I think that it even tasted better because it offered in the truest since from a genuine heart. Okay. Best decision I made today so far. First- I ve seen all types, and can spot them a mile away. This guy is the real deal.. He saw my predicament (out of town with tire blow-out) and moved immediately to help in a way that gets me the most efficient deal with the best product.. I m no slouch when it comes to anything mechanical, their competency impressed me (nothing impresses me).. Also have a pretty good honest meter- this guy passes effortlessly .. And super nice guy to boot. I also witnessed how they worked on other cars in their shop when no one is watching. I wish these guys were near me. No reason to go anywhere else.

Can not say enough about how amazing the whole team was at B&C Auto! We were out of town and in a tough spot needing to drive two hours home. One of our pulleys was messed up affecting the a/c compressor and our ball joints on both driver and passenger side were completely done and undrivable and from the second we walked in everyone was so beyond helpful and nice. They tended to our cars needs even having such a busy schedule and fit us in while still overlooking everything efficiently and patiently. Needless to say we got home safe and sound and it s all thanks to them! I wish I had this auto shop and workers in my town cause they would have my business for life!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My daughter had an issue with her heater motor on her car that had to be replaced sooner than later. She needs her car to commute to College daily and with the cold weather needed to be repaired ASAP. They managed to squeeze her in at their busy time and were very fair on the cost for the repair. I brought my car here when we had no idea what was wrong with it. Two AAA teams were totally baffled. Bill and his team were able to rule out a ton of issues, were kind and honest. They eventually had to refer me to my dealer, but they made the experience painless. They also refused to let me pay for the check-up. This was truly the best auto shop experience I ve ever had.

Absolutely great service. My car is kindof a pain in the neck in that it's an older German luxury vehicle and minus some crazy security feature nonsense they have been able to service and fix practically every issue I've had with it. Always pleased with the work, service and price at B & C.

A few days ago my car was making a really loud noise a rattle but only when it was shifting from 1st to 2nd I thought it was my transmission so I was panicking. I decided to just take a stab in the dark and pulled up at B & C Auto the nicest guy came out greeted me with a smile asked what the problem was with my car he took my car for a test drive came back diagnosed it fixed it for free and said don't worry about it I forced him to take some money I was so impressed with this place and so completely blown away that I'm going there from now on and I'm telling everybody to give this place business they are excellent!

FIVE STARS for the actual auto service. I would trust them with my car again. Came to them for a registration issue. They denied being able to do it despite being registered with the state to do it. They called their people who are supposed to be able to help and shoved me out the door. Went next door to Sullivan s and they could just do it.Don t waste time with these guys.

These guys helped fix my 2012 BMW 5 series. Let me tell you, I"m 34 and I finally found myself a mechanic I can trust. These guys will be my only stop from here on out.They had to fix something with an axle? (Shows what I know) their price was 40% what the dealership quoted me and they were able to help in only a few days. Unfortunately, the fix hit a snafu and I had to bring it back. They helped the day after Christmas without hesitation and totally free.Thank you for your help! I'll certainly be back.

I am so pleased the tow truck driver suggested going to B&C. We were coming from out of town and I had assumed we would have to RIPTA back home, but thanks to B&C we were in and out in less than an hour. If you live near Newport, or like us breakdown in town, don't hesitate to bring your car. Thanks guys.
