This family owned business is one of the best dealerships and mechanic shops i have ever encountered. Im so glad i was able to buy a vehicle from them with no problem at all. They are honest and respond to any questions or concerns and if anything needs to be addressed they make sure to take care of it fast. And when i mean fast i mean fast . I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE THATS LOOKING FOR A CAR OR EVEN GETTING THERE CAR REPAIRED. Honest business comes with honest review. This is an honest review.

After my old mechanic retired, I wasn t sure where to take my older car for repairs. A family member recommended Mutter Motors. I called to schedule an appointment and the person I spoke with was polite and friendly. I dropped my car off the night before and received a phone call promptly the next day. I was given some options for repair and with it being an older car, the less expensive and simple repair was recommended over the more expensive option. I appreciated their honesty and my car was fixed the same day. I found my new mechanic and will highly recommend them to others.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

Many mechanics are not truthful and do what they can to make money off you- Mutter motors, Matt in specific, was honest with us and did everything I needed done in less than a day (it was a very good amount of work). I expected a bigger price tag than I got. Mutter motors is great!!

I was charged $1,100.00 for a alternator repair. Paid and drove car away at around 5:00pm. The brand new alternator malfunctioned and the car died on the road three hours later at 8:00pm. When discussing issue with staff the next day, I learned that they installed a reconditioned alternator part. They were extremely rude and threatening. I didn t feel safe regarding their response to my concerns. They also refused to correct the situation. The car never recovered from the experience. After going to Mutter Motors for the repair the vehicle was frail and continually unreliable. Therefore it had to be replaced soon afterwards. $1,100.00 is a lot of money to me. What a major mistake I made going there for car care. I will never, ever patronize Mutter Motors, again. Never.

I don t usually write reviews, but Mutter Motors deserves one. I have an old Subaru with a rotting exhaust system - the Mutter Motors crew understood what I was looking for and got it fixed, didn t upsell or try to scam me (hell, they downsold - encouraged the economical custom weld/patch option over the more expensive replacement option). As a younger woman without a ton of car knowledge, I frequently feel (and have been) taken advantage of by mechanics. But not by Mutter Motors - they are honest and kind folks who do good work.

There are times in life where money and public appreciate isn t enough to show gratitude.Matt and Mutter Motors went beyond the call of customer service. The work they do on my truck is always honest and forthright, furthermore, when I was in the hospital and needed help to my truck towed, they helped!A remarkable business, operated by remarkable people! #4evaMutterHead

My job requires extensive travel so I trust Matt and the guys to make sure my car is always up to date with its services and keep the car in good running condition. At Mutter Motors the staff are always approachable, honest, reliable and best of all, these folks are truly experienced. There is no better experience than Mutter ....

Stopped by to look at a couple of the used cars out front. The first thing I noticed, was that there were no window stickers on any of the cars. This is a little tough when you're looking a price and mileage. The owner of the business immediately came out and greeted us, and answered the questions I had. He knew the mileages and prices of the cars when I asked.

I've brought my car here a few times now, and I've never been disappointed. The garage does quality work at reasonable prices, and with pretty quick turnaround times. According to a friend who first used them 15-20 years ago, that's the way they've always been. Highly recommend.

I stopped at 3 other shops to repair a nail in my tire. None of them wanted to be bothered because it's annoying to repair run-flat tires. Mutter Motors squeezed me in right before a long weekend and got the job done in no time. Great, friendly service! Will be back!

This has been my regular mechanic since 2013/4 . They kept my first car (a real clunker) going well beyond I should have gotten rid of it. They're super honest and just all around really nice people!

I've been bringing my personal and work vehicles to Mutter's for over 6 years. Matt and his team of mechanics are great. He always communicates what any of my vehicles need and how much it will cost before starting the work. I highly recommend going to Mutter's for great quality work/maintenance for your vehicle.

First time experience. Seemed nice and professional. Didn't try to upsell. Had to go back to deal with same issue because they didn't want to charge me unduly, so I opted for the simple fix, which didn't solve the real problem . Went back to replace bad throttle body. Car is perfect now. I recommend them.

Terrific shop! The mechanics do solid work, the prices are reasonable, and the owner is honest. Highly recommended. Im really psyched that I have a reliable mechanic in the area.

I had a great experience with this auto shop. It was recommended to me by the owner of Larry's in Lincoln, and it lived up to my expectations. Great customer service over the phone and in person, and they're very helpful. This is definitely my new local shop.

I brought my car from them 3 and 1/2 yrs. ago for $3.489. and honestly have ONLY drove 1,000 each year just reached my 3 thousand this month!! I am a single female with no male family members or friends so THEY TOOK TOTALLY ADVANTAGE of ME!! They Sold me a car that LOOKED good on the OUTSIDE and the INSIDE!! BUT...I being a woman, sorry I Never thought about looking UNDERNEATH the car!! Who would have thought of that? Thinking this is a known car dealership in town? Well, NOT ME!!Until I started with an oil leak...So, I took it to MONRO auto service.They put it on the lift, and WHAT!!My whole Back end UNDERCARRIAGE is totally a RUST BUCKET!! Now, this did DID NOT happen in 3yrs!! My car needs well over $500.00 worth of work. MONRO told me to junk it!!The KICKER of all this is..I took it to MUTTER MOTORS TODAY, as the OIL LEAK was the Valve Cover Gasket. They were going to FIX it and my LEFT BLINKER LIGHT & Back BREAK LIGHT!!I called late afternoon to see what was going on MATT one of the owners, tells me that he is not going to fix it as the whole UNDERCARRIAGE back end is too RUSTY!!!WELL, I knew THAT!! I wanted to flip out and tell him I BROUGHT it THAT WAY!!BUT, he wasn't the one who sold me the car..IT WAS JEFFREY MUTTER THE MAYOR of CUMBERLAND!!!YES, THAT NICE MAN!!THAT'S What I use to think too.and by the way, he Matt didn't even fix my Lights!! BEWARE SINGLE WOMAN!!

They just wanted my money not my business went in for a squealing serpentine belt and they replaced my alternator without checking any of the pulleys. A couple of days later my serpentine belt fell off on the highway and I had to get towed from Boston back to this place. Again they put my serpentine belt back on without checking the tensioner pulley and my belt continued to squeal after spending $600 to fix it. Finally brought it back in and they fix the tensioner pulley along with a couple other little things and charge me 250 bucks to do it.

I have been taking my car(s) to Mutter Motors for decades because the know what they are doing, do it well and price their service fairly. Doesn't get any better. Thank you for all your service

Needed a state vehicle inspection, was able to make an appointment for the following day. Was in and out in twenty minutes, would definitely recommend them!
