My first time my usually garage was busy and I needed something taken care of quickly. They were able to take me in right away, and the work was quick, and the price was fair. I have been there several times since and the experience has been consistent.

My first time there My ABS light was on. Went to this place I like how they bring your car in they don't have you waiting for so long and the price is fair. Definitely will bring my car back if I need anything done Jose takes care of you!

This is honestly the best auto shop I ve ever been too. I arrived with an emergency and they were so accommodating and attentive. I am now going to be a customer for life. I look forward to the next time my car has an issue so I can hang out with the crew.

Do NOT come here. This place is a scam. They will try and take advantage of you.Came in for a simple inspection, knowing my vehicle was in tip top shape. After waiting over 2 hours with an appointment, they failed my vehicle, saying I need lower ball joints. I work on my vehicles so I knew that wasn t true. I went home, jacked up the car, everything is good. Long story short, I took it somewhere else, everything passed and I was in and out in 20 minutes.Do NOT take your car here. I can only imagine the amount of people they take advantage of.

I ve been going to L&J Auto for years now and Jose and his team are the best! Every time I have a problem with my car Jose always manages to get me in quickly and does a great job. Just this past week I didn t have heat in my car he got me in snd I got my car back within 2 days. He s very honest with my about what needs to be done and pricing is transparent if something unexpected needs to get taken care of he immediately calls to approve the repair. I tell everyone I know if they need a mechanic to go to L&J in Cumberland, RI and see Jose!

Fantastic place! They are reasonably priced and super honest. If Jose says I need something done I trust him, which definitely can t be said of all places. They are focused on quality and customer service and won t try to sell you something you don t need.

Had an oil change, new tires, new wipers done. Three weeks later my oil light went on. Checked oil and it was lowww. It typically takes many months for my oil light to go on and my mileage is consistent from month to month. I believe the oil change was not done. I ll avoid this place in the future. I could tell they rushed things as part of the plastic covering for the wipers was still on the wiper when I drove away. Rip off!

Coil packs and sparks plugs were fixed two months ago, and they broke again and wouldn t even give me atleast a warranty. Unsatisfactory and unbelievable. I would not recommend.

I have been a customer for years. Jose and the staff at L&J Auto are EXCELLENT. Jose is honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, skilled, helpful, polite and is an extremely hard worker. I have so much trust in him that when he tells me my car needs this or that, I never for a moment second guess what he is saying and I never feel the need to get another opinion. If Jose says I need it, I need it. As a customer, that s a wonderful feeling. He is always fair on his pricing and he does great work. Jose and his staff were absolutely amazing! I feel so fortunate to have found a trustworthy, honest, fast, and so responsive auto repair and maintenance shop. Today at 5pm I was searching for a RI inspection station all over Cumberland, no one wanted to do their jobs. I ll tell ya, empty shops closing at 6 and 7 wouldn t work. I pulled into L&J and it was like the clouds lifted, everyone is so friendly. Those guys are working, they re moving around doing things but they re in a good mood. I have been going to L&J Auto from the time I moved from New Orleans to RI in 1990. I had to get yet another windshield installed on my Jeep because of a crack. The last time I had it done by an auto glass company and they did a poor repair with large gaps around the windshield. I was supposed to have another auto glass company fix it on Friday, but they flaked out and didn't show. Just for the heck of it, I called L & J in Cumberland (my normal mechanic, whom I've always been very pleased with) to see if they did auto glass. To my surprise, they did. They did a much better job than the company specializing in auto glass repair, as it looked like it did when I bought the car. L & J Auto is respectful, won't sell you something if you do not need it, and the price is right. They are just so nice. They treat you with kindness and professionalism. I love the place. My car was inspected in a short time for the right price. I recommend it to anyone.

My SUV was making a noise in the front end, I made the mistake of going to another auto repair shop in town and they could not diagnose the problem. Brought my car to L&J and they diagnosed the problem and made the repair at a reasonable price. I made an appointment to get a low tire pressure sensor reading checked. The experience was flawless. Jose was helpful, lowkey, and I appreciate that. They fixed the problem, and the cost was reasonable. I will be going there in the future for service.

Great experience. Prompt courteous service . I was able to drop my car off the night before, they called to describe the work needed and price. On pick up they actually charged me less than the original quote. How often does that happen? Will definitely be going back.

I have been going to L&J for a long time now. They are expert mechanics. Sometimes its difficult to trust mechanics but No doubt in my mind. L&J have always done excellent work on each of my vehicles over the years. When anyone asks me if I know of any good mechanic shops, I always tell them go to L&J, not only do they do Excellent work they also do the work for an excellent price. Thank You L&J

This is truly the best automotive place that I have ever been to. Leo the owner is honest and fair. Jose the mechanic is excellent.Was able to diagnose a problem that was difficult to find.They don't give up until they find the issue and fix it. I highly recommend L+J to all. I will be coming here from now on.

This place is amazing. They won t try to sell you extras. Honest guys and highly recommend them. They tell you straight and awesome rates. I recently purchased a vehicle off the lot and they went above and beyond to make the experience non stressful for me. They want repeat customers! I went for an oil change today and they flipped the bill. I will definitely be going back for all my car needs.

So far so good. I went on a Saturday when they arent usually opem. There was a giy there tuat told me to drop my car off sunday in the drop box amd they would call me with an estimate. They texted me the issie. Tols me how much and the labor was very reasonable. They ordered the oarts and am awaiting them to call back to have them installed.
