Hands down the best mechanics to help you out in a bind and not try to rip you off. Took my vehicle first to another shop, which wanted to charge almost 4k for the job. Stopped by and talked to Ralph and Steve, 1600 for the job. My car hasn't had an engine problem since. Took my other vehicle for an issue, and they saved me almost $400 from another quote for a different shop. Needless to say, I will keep returning with any issue.

Absolutely the worst experience I ve ever had at an auto shop and should have known better from the get go. But I moved and they were in the neighborhood and my regular mechanic was now 30 mins away so I figured I d give them a try. I had to have a rack and pinion replaced on a Chevy impala and I wanted the exhaust checked for a leak. I explained what was going on when I dropped it off to the father who is the owner of the business but doesn t seem to do any actual work. He barely wrote anything down but it seemed another mechanic was listening so I figured I d see how it was going to go. A few days go by the son calls me, Omar I think, letting me know the rack and pinion had to be replaced. Ok great that s why I dropped it off. He gave me a ballpark price I was comfortable with and said do it. I asked what they found out about the exhaust. He wasn t aware that I wanted it checked even though it sounded like a straight pipe when you started the car. He said he d look into it. A few more days go by and the car is ready. I picked it up mad exhaust was still loud. The mechanic was there this time not Omar or his did. He said knew nothing about the exhaust. I said didn t you hear it? He did not nobody told him to check it. Weird but fine, the rack was replaced, I had power steering again and they didn t charge me anything for exhaust work so I leave.I had a long drive after picking it upAnd it was a warm day. I noticed my knees were getting hot and there was an awful rattle coming from somewhere in the front end. I check everywhere for an air leak into the cabin. I find the steering column boot leaning to the side of the steering column. There is only a small bushing passing through the floor with air and light coming into the passenger compartment. So I bring it back. The dad was there again unfortunately, I explain that boot was not installed properly and heat is coming into the cabin and there is a terrible rattle. He doesn t write anything down and says no problem. I had a bad feeling so before I left I took a pic of the price that was not re-installed properly and went on my way. When I came back to pick it up they had tore off an exhaust heat shield from the rear of the car, apparently source of rattle and glued the hell out of the small bushing. I asked about the boot that was supposed to be there they argued with me that Chevy did not have that. Then I showed them the picture of mine laying on its side by the steering column and a photo of the part from the gm website and Omar and the mechanic just simply lied to my face over and over. I asked about the rattle and they said it was the heat shield. Ok let s go for a ride.Omar drove the car with me in it and he immediately knew something was wrong. He said leave it here we will fix it. Another day goes by and they say it s ready. I go back and ask what was wrong. They said noting they did it was my struts. I pointed out that they were new. They said maybe I got bad ones. I asked how do we fix it? They said they don t know ask the people who put the struts in. I asked again about the boot over the steering shaft. The mechanic told me the car didn t have one. I showed him the pic again and just walked away.Brought the car to my regular mechanic a few days later. I didn t tell him anything except there was a rattle in the front end. An hour later he said the car was all set. I went to pick it up and he just handed me the keys. When I asked what was wrong and how much he said dont worry about it. You change the rack? He asked. I said yeah. He said you forgot to to tighten 2 bolts and laughed at me. He thought I did it as I do some of my own work. These people at egdewood didn t even give it a look and just did the runaround. Don t waste your time or money here like I did. Avoid them at all costs!!

Brought my Jeep to these guys and they did a fantastic job with my brakes and letting me know what else I needed to work on. Even went so far as to continue texting me about necessary parts. If you're looking for a great local repair shop Omar and his guys are the best. 10/10 would recommend!

Not worth it for inspection. Charged an extra $10 for putting my new plates on my new car without telling me and got massive grease stains on my mats. Go elsewhere for straight forward service/if you care about your car.
