Andy was an absolute life saver. He has my business for life. Wife was in a horrible car crash and Andy was the savior in the whole process in coordinating a rental car and dealing with insurance. Highly recommend anyone and everyone to go through this body shop.

Kristin was incredible working with me on my horrific availability and answering all of the questions I had. Andy was there and ready to help with what needed to be done. Smooth as could be! By far the BEST body shop in the business! Everything is always handled in a timely manner, rental provided, they keep you updated through the process and completely recondition the car before handing the keys back to you! Extremely professional, amazing work and exceptional customer service! Andy and his staff are there when you need them, whenever it may be! If you need any damage repaired whatsoever, this is the place to go! Thanks Action Auto for making something so stressful seem so easy!

I would never consider using this company to repair my car. My kid got in an accident and our car was towed there. The insurance company determined it to be a total loss and asked that we go there to clean out the car and sign a release so the car could be moved to a lot that won't charge for storage. The very next day we head over there and the car has already been taken away - with my kid's stuff in it - and WITHOUT our permission. I called the insurance company to get that address of the storage facility, my son goes there the next day, and his $750 bass guitar amp has been stolen from the car. I called Action Automotive Collision Center to find out who released the car. The woman on the phone tells me the insurance company released it. So I asked what the person's name was who signed off on it and she got very short with me, saying the insurance company signed off on it and that I should have them call her. I called the insurance company and they told me they NEVER sign for the release of someone's car. I got a copy of the slip and where my signature was supposed to go it says "Ok to release." So there's no responsibility for loss, the insurance company won't cover it, saying it's the Autobody that's at fault, and Action Autobody says it's the insurance company that's at fault. Brilliant.Responding to below: Clearly you did release the car without the owner's permission. The insurance company did not own my car and no one signed for the car's release. We turned in the title at the storage yard the day after the car was moved and after the items were stolen. I asked your employee on the phone for the name of the person at the insurance company who released the car and all she would give me was the name of the insurance company not a person. I have included an image showing the towing company invoice where I was supposed to sign for the release of my car. It shows the tow truck driver's signature, but no signature from an owner. So as this case illustrates, you do not always get the owner's permission to release the car.

Just got my car back after an unfortunate accident. Andy was super great to deal with. He handled everything with the insurance company and my car looks beautiful. He went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you Action Auto sport for easing my mind and making my car great again.

Andy (owner), Mike and Christen (front counter) are A+ from start to finish! This is not your ordinary auto body shop as they hand EVERYTHING from the beginning when you drop off the vehicle until you pick up your vehicle. They don't make you wait very long for anything either. Christen at the front counter area is awesome too, completely professional and nice! If you ever get into an auto accident please bring your auto here as you will not be disappointed at all! You will get your vehicle back and it looks like you bought a brans new car coming off of the showroom floor. They will completely detail inside and outside. Wow! Thank you again Any, Mike and Christen!

Horrible experience billed for all new parts charged 7300.00 never replaced a thing instead drilled holes in hood,fender and door to fix dents. Still chasing to get done right.

This is the third time I have taken a car to Action, after an accident. I am obviously not very lucky except when it comes to finding a great place to take my car to be put back together. Andrew is wonderful. He not only fixed my car but performed a much needed oil change. The receptionist always calls me when she says she will. My car always looks amazing after they are done with the repairs. The paint is so well blended you would never know the car was in an accident. They do everything for you once you drop your car off. They deal with the insurance company, get you a rental, and follow up to tell you when you car will be completed. They apparently check the oil since I didn't even know my car needed an oil change. They are definitely a one stop shop.Services: Body & Trim, Oil change

My car was towed here, after an accident. They told me, on the phone, that they couldn't find it for several days; they kept putting me on hold, then hanging up. I had to go there, in person, for them to find the car. They gave me a rental with the engine light on, that wasn't clean. They wouldn't give me a receipt for the storage that I paid, saying that my check was my receipt. I had to go there numerous times, to return the rental, because I was told the owner had to be there, when I returned it, although he told another customer- right in front of me- that she could drop off her rental and leave the keys in the drop box. It was also very difficult to get my car towed out of there, with a lot of shananigans. I guess if you're wealthy, with a fancy car, they think you're important and treat you that way, and, if not, they have a party with you.

I had my car detailed here over the summer and thought they did well enough besides leaving some uneven spots with the buffer on the front bumper. Today, I was cleaning out my trunk to discover they put a piece of putty directly on the carpet to for some reason hold down my otherwise well fitted cargo liner that had no issues with shifting. I have a cargo liner to keep my carpet free from stains, who does this that professionally cleans cars?

I was in a fender bender and we called our regular auto body shop..Cranston Auto Body, well, Will had just sold his business to Action Auto Body..so we took my car there..everyone was absolutely wonderful and accommodating..from the patient, very busy, competent woman at the front desk to the owner and men working in the shop.During the repairs my husband contracted COVID and has been ill and I have been in quarantine.well we just let them know and they never once bothered us about getting the immaculate Chevy Blazer we had as a loaner back they just told us Not to worry and hoped Mark was well.I picked my car up yesterday afternoon and it is in perfect condition..their work is impeccable and they definitely have pride in their work. As a matter of fact I had misplaced my prescription sunglasses and looked everywhere...I combed that car from top to bottom..well don't you know they cleaned the car so thoroughly that they actually found them..heaven knows where..but they were left in the pocket behind the driver's seat. I would definitely recommend Action Auto Body to anyone who needs any type of auto Body repairs done!All I can say is kudos to everyone who has been so very kind to me during this very difficult time!

Went to Action Auto for collision damage. They were very personable and easy to work with. Great communication and very timely. Also a spotless detail! Talk to Andy and he will take care of you, he s the best! I would recommend to anyone in the Rhode Island area!!

Andy was great! the price was right and so was the job. My car looks brand new! Not only was the job done right they cleaned it inside too. Communication was great when calling to ask about my vehicle as well. Very nice staff.

my car was hit and they handled the claim. picked up my car yesterday and it genuinely looks better than when i bought it off the lot. completely spotless inside and out. i am SO impressed and will not go anywhere else ever!!!!!

I always go here for my auto repairs and would give 5 stars for the repairs and convenience and detailing but have to bring it down to 3 because the woman who answers the phones and does their administative/reception is just miserable every time and makes you feel like you're bothering her every step of the way. This is not just a one off but EVERY SINGLE TIME. She is knowledgeable, but it is unnecessary to act annoyed to have to help the customers. I won't go elsewhere because I know they're going to get my car done right and have realistic pricing, but I literally dread dealing with her. I also recommended two separate friends, one who got so frustrated with her in the initial call that he decided to go elsewhere and the other said she loved their work but wouldn't return because the receptionist was just a "grump". I wish they would just give her some customer service training because she knows her stuff, just has a terrible attitude.

I had a great experience with Action Auto Body. My car was hit and needed body work. When my car was returned the damage was repaired and the car was cleaned in and out. It looked beautiful and I appreciate the ease of working with such a professional team.

Action Auto Body was recommended to me by Joe & Sons. I'm so glad that they did. I had a minor problem with the car which was fixed immediately with no charge. The two gentlemen I spoke to (I think one was the owner) couldn't have been nicer as was the young lady behind the desk. I would highly recommend Action Auto.

Action autosport is the best. They fixed my traverse that had been in an accident (head-on) and detailed it. Awesome job action autosport and Andy it was a great pleasure meeting you and I can't thank you enough. Great great job like brand new.
