Should change the name to Two Crooks. Only went here for convenience since it s right down the street from me and because my suv needed some immediate work that couldn t wait. I was upcharged bigtime on the work that I had done. Seems as if they make up prices as they go. One of the mechanics there was rude to me when I pulled into the parking lot to check on my suv. I ll drive a few miles further down the road and go to the shop of a family friend who will charge me $300 less on this next job my suv needs.

I went to Two Guys Auto when 5 Auto body shops couldn't diagnose my car. It was making a loud noise. I drove over a branch. Danny drove it and quickly knew what it was. He explained what was wrong with my car. He is very knowledgeable, professional,honest, and reasonably priced.

Should be called Two Scammers!! Will break your car on purpose and then up charge you for parts and service you never needed. Completely random prices too that they make as they go. Thanks two scammers

My last mechanic of over two decades, finally retired. I was looking for a new mechanic and gave these guys a shot and they were upfront with pricing and estimate over the phone. They did the work and everything looks great. They actually even came in a little under budget. I found my new mechanic! Highly recommend.

I ve had nothing but great experiences with cars I ve taken to Two Guys over the past several years. Melissa is always friendly as well as everyone else. They are always fair priced and whatever issues I have are always repaired. They always contact before making repairs and I found they look for ways to save you money. I trust them not to recommend things I don t need and to repair the things I do!Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Brought my truck there for repair. They do an excellent job. Only negative thing I can think of is they are crazy busy and need to start a 2nd shift for repairs. They are way to busy for only 1st shift repairs. Need 2nd shift crew. Possibly 3rd shift.

I've been coming here for the last year since moving to Coventry. I've had multiple repairs on multiple vehicles done by Two Guys and couldn't be happier.They're a business that definitely stays true to honesty, workmanship, and affordability.Definitely recommend anyone whose looking for a new shop to stop down here.

I was on my way on a family getaway to Newport from NJ and the alternator of my vehicle broke down. I stopped at Two Guys Auto wanting a rush fix and Danny really took excellent care of my need. He understood the urgency of the matter and was not hesitant about it! He did an amazing job and really provided an outstanding service ! Thank you so much!

Two guys came to the rescue last week. I had dropped my car that was leaking oil out rapidly off to them the night before without any notice, in hopes they could fix the issue. By the next morning they were able to diagnose and fix, they called me with an update by 10 am. They were so responsive, affordable, and reliable. Super great all around, highly recommend. I was told about 2 Guys from my mom. Her car broke down when she was on her way to get a radiation treatment. The owner at the time, stopped everything the mechanics were doing, to get my mom's car fixed so she could get to her appointment. It was great to find a mechanic like that, that actually cared for their customers! Now the new owner Danny, who used to work for the old owners, is exactly the same way! I have had repairs done many times by Danny and 2 Guys and always have had wonderful service and in most cases, he has lowered the cost that was first told to me, depending on what needed to be done, and how long it took them to do it. I highly recommend this garage and I will continue to tell my family and friends about them. Honest service!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been going to these folks for years and am constantly impressed with them in every regard. They have all the virtues you want in an auto mechanic shop - courtesy, honesty, efficiency, affordability, and great personalities. If you want a refreshingly uncomplicated experience with getting your car serviced, I would highly recommend giving these "two guys" a try. I do not know of another shop like this one anywhere nearby.

First time using Two Guys Auto Repair for spark plugs and radiator flush. Melissa was great! Very kind and professional, kept me informed on cost and what was recommended but I never felt pressured to do more than necessary. Will definitely use again! Found these guys online while looking for a good honest shop. Linda in the office was very friendly. They did my brake lines. Called and told me about what needed to be done. Had it in and out in one day. You can't beat the price. Will absolutely use them again. I highly recommend.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

So happy with finally finding a mechanic I can trust that would not break the bank. My car air conditioning just died in the middle of the hot summer. Being a older woman alone it was a scary experience finding a mechanic I could trust and afford. I went to two mechanics for an estimate .first one was insanely high in price and the second one was just lower in price but still high. I can home so disappointed in not being able to afford getting my air conditioner fixed. I was chatting with a neighbor telling her my frustration. She immediately told me to go to. Two Guys Auto, Tioque Avenue, Coventry. I called and they immediately took my car in I was shocked not being a regular customer. Melissa the office manager couldn t help me enough. I met the mechanic Danny and I immediately felt like I was in good hands. He went over everything that went wrong with the air conditioning showing me all the damaged parts. He then went over the cost for the parts and labor, once again I was shocked. Danny was half the price of the other repair shops I went to. My air conditioner runs beautifully thanks to Danny. Melissa and the guys are great! Fair and honest pricing! Melissa and Danny squeezed my car in on a 90+ degree day when my A/C compressor suddenly died even though they were already fully booked. These guys are great. So punctual, do exactly what they say. Took my wife s car here awhile back for some major repairs. He was about 40% cheaper than the dealership. Fair and well priced. Highly recommend. Also: these guys have got the neatest office I ve ever seen for a mechanic .

My father inlaw brings his vehicle here and says they are great. Great mechanics, good service and good prices. He had his exhaust fixed and it was done in a couple hours at a very reasonable price. There parking lot is very crowded.

They left me and my toddler with out a car for days on end. Spending hundred or dollars to get my two year old to daycare and myself to work. my car was towed there with a promise that it would be looked at the next day. It seemed as they were trustworthy, so why not? I called next day and was told it was post poned another 24 hours. Here I am on a Friday night calling as I'm carless this weekend & have an important event to attend (tickets are in my car as I did not expect to be without the vehicle for over 48 hours) They are closed all weekend and don't have a voicemail set up or an emergency contact. Thanks for nothing. Time is money and mine was wasted trusting in this business, on top of the money I spent trying to remain financially stable. If you're wondering wheather or not they're going to be a good investment- think again. According to other reviews, they're good with their regulars but couldn't care less for new business. They will not prioritize earning your business as a customer , so please prioritize yourself and go elsewhere. I really wish I did!

I'm a senior on a VERY fixed income, so vehicle repairs scare the heebie-jeebies out of me. I heard Danny was good, so I rolled the dice & went to him. I've had absolutely terrible experiences with mechanics in my life, over-charging, "fixing" things that really didn't need fixing & charging exorbitant prices for the work. It has always been very discouraging to have to go to a mechanic for any work on my vehicles. My first experience with Danny changed all that!! Not only does he do great work & promptly, his pricing (from my experience) is the fairest in RI. He doesn't gouge people, doesn't take advantage. If he tells you something needs fixing, you can rely on that it really does, isn't just a game to separate you from your cash. I don't say any of this lightly; I wouldn't put a recommendation online that people like me might be influenced by if it wasn't 100% legit & true. You can take your vehicle to Two Guys and rest easy; the work will be professionally done, promptly & fairly. Went to Two Guys for a state car inspection. Dropped it off Friday and got it back same day with no issues. Receptionist was courteous and professional as were the mechanics. I m new in town and have never tried any local auto repair shop. My car had some major engine problems while I was driving so I pulled over and got a tow, choosing Two Guys over a AAA recommended place. Every story has 2 sides to the coin but, in this case, both sides read the same way - EXCELLENT service at the front desk AND in the garage, thorough, knowledgeable, efficient work, very timely and I even got a walk-thru of what happened and why. This was a last minute, sight unseen job for these people and I needed my car ASAP because I m self-employed and rely heavily on it to get to my jobs. It s up to a customer to be reasonable and fair, too. Some of the things that were stated in 2 of these old, poor reviews on this site, were proven to be totally unfounded, in my experience. There was no sign of ANYTHING negative or underhanded and I know human behavior and bad mechanics. I need a fast, fair, reliable, competent and reasonably priced, local car repair shop and this one is AWESOME! Two Guys , you just got another happy new customer. Thank you for your professional handling of me and my lifeline to employment. Give them a try. You won t be sorry!

2 guys is the best repair shop I have ever been to. I had a problem with my car where I couldn't shut it off and Danny dropped what he was doing and fixed it immediately. He is very honest and very fair. These guys do a very good job. Their prices are very fair and honest. They don't try and get you to fix things that you don't need. Almost every time I use them it is fixed within the time frame they state, which is one day. Because of their excellent service, they are very busy so you need to make an appt but, in the event of an emergency, they will do what it takes to get it fixed. Top notch!!! Been their customer for about 10 years.
