After a horrible experience with Monroe auto. I went here. My wife had used this shop before and highly recommended it. So I should have asked her first. They were prompt and reasonable. I talked to others wanting and all had nothing but good things to say about them. I would highly recommend them if you need an inspection done.

To have my automobile inspected, I went there.I went there on the day I went there for my online appointment.I left the car there and signed in at the workplace.After 30 minutes, my friend was due to pick me up, but she called to let me know she would be running late. The staff told me it was over when I thought I had to wait for her in the office!They are pleasant, efficient, and well-organized.I appreciate them!

Brought my car in with lights on he said it was steering problem supposingly fixed it but never shut lights off said couldn't get it off (after having it for 3 + weeks)but that it wouldn't affect it being inspected brought it back to be inspected had it over a month and still have the lights on never fixed it I even wonder if he fixed it originally and charge me $400 for doing nothing. I wouldn't let him work on another car he doesn't know his business he could of told me from the beginning it was out of his league. I wouldn't even let him work on my bicycle at this pointthink he needs more schooling cause he screwed my car up totally ,also he doesn't communicate at all with what's happening with your car as he has it for 3_6 weeksBAD BUSINESS

The best garage I've ever been to. Possibly in the whole of Rhode Island. Friendly, reliable, and affordable. Had all my family's vehicles serviced here for years without a single issue. Whether its a small service or a major fix; Barrington Automotive will handle it for you and it will almost certainly be more affordable than any other mechanic.

I've had a couple services from Barrington Automotive on both our vehicles (tires, brakes, coolant issue etc). Eli and his team are knowledgeable and professional. Communication and estimates are efficient, work is completed promptly and pricing is very fair. They do not try to perform services you haven't requested I would highly recommend Barrington Automotive.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I only needed an emissions test, but I'll be back when my car needs more service. They came highly recommended for their honest and friendly service, and I've experienced this. Plus, they have the most adorable shop pooch to greet you.

These folks were amazing. I am new to the area and needed a mechanic who was local. Multiple sources recommended them and they were all right. They were timely, professional and kept me informed. I brought my girlfriend s car in because it randomly dies. I have tried many diagnostics although I myself am not a mechanic and know just enough to do simple repairs and I was not able to figure out why it was dying. I dropped the car off in the morning and it spent the whole day there. The staff is very friendly and will try to answer every phone call or call back. Eli looked over the engine and ran various tests and suggested possible reasoning behind the issue. He told me it was an easy fix and something I could do and even showed me the part locations and gave me the names of the parts. I will be fixing the possible issue myself but would 100% trust the staff on repairing it. The parts are just easier to install myself rather than take up their time that they could use to fix another customer s car. Definitely going back if the car has any more issues.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

The simple fact that I am leaving a good review speaks volumes! Service is great, repairs are made in a timely fashion, estimated and actual costs are close if not the same, and they are just nice guys to deal with. I don't give out 5 stars that easy. But they deserve it for their smooth service.Online booking for RI emissions was smooth, walked in and it was done very quick. Fee was cheap. Waiting area was small but clean.

This place is fantastic. My truck was having engine issues where I was losing MPGs and the performance was horrible. I brought it in without an appointment and they fixed it right then and there. I felt like I was a priority, it was very affordable and my truck is running like brand new. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and polite. I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends.

El Presidente rarely gives the coveted , but it has been earned. Eli is one of the last honest and decent business men left. He saved me almost 3K on a repair from the dealer (shame on you, Herb Chambers).Not my style, but I love this establishment. I have 100% trust that my care is being cared for which is why I always use Eli for everything from oil change to tires. He even knows how to deal with problems from my high-maintenance wife My only (slight) issue is that he is super slammed with work. Very busy. I can understand why it is difficult to find help that lives up to high standards. I just wish Eli would let someone handle the front (which he is also great at) so he could work more magic.

Really thoughtful and thorough . They were honest about giving me advice to go to the dealer for the things that were still under warranty and went above and beyond to figure out what was wrong with my car.
