I tend to dread the car buying process for a variety of reasons. I was able to do a lot of research online and shared my plan with the team at North Star and not once did I feel pressured to make a decision or speed any part of it up. I feel that my wishes and requirements were respected and the overall process was really smooth. I really respect that I wasn't badgered and harassed about buy-ups in the Finance office when I was signing everything as I have been at one of your competitors in the past. I listened, gave my response, and we moved on. If more dealers were up front and honest about this stuff, as North Star was, this wouldn't be a notoriously hated process to go through!

I would give less than one star. We bought our Yukon 2021 brand new and had nothing but problems with it since day one. we had the car just a few months and around 8,000 miles we had to have the whole top of the motor replaced. And many more issues since then. The most recent problem he had is the whole entire sunroof started leaking out of all of our lights seatbelts everywhere and it was not just a few drips. Water was spewing out of everywhere. It s creating mold in my car and you can smell it when you open the door. I am extremely allergic to mold. I get shots once a week for my allergies cause I m severely allergic. I brought this to the attention of the dealership and they told me there s nothing they can do other than detail it. This does not sit well with me considering it s now a health issue. This is the feedback I got from the service manager and also the GM manager. Not to mention the water is all through my electrical system. I will be contacting BBB and also higher levels.

Jess in the service department was wonderful in helping me secure a loaner car since the work would not be complete on my car for several days, even though the initial plan was to only need it for a day or so. She was extremely courteous and communicated often and well. Thank you

My experience was amazing!! The receptionist in the service office was a huge help and very willing to answer any and all questions that I had. They got my car in and out and were very transparent about what was done. Highly recommend

Maybe I was just lucky, but I had four tires mounted, balanced and installed plus an oil change and a state inspection and was out of there in just over 90 minutes. That was on a Friday afternoon in mid October. Great job by the team!

The only thing I regret is not buying my car from this place. I bring my Buick here anytime I need service done. I don t need to worry about getting screwed over and the service staff is the absolute nicest mechanics I have ever met. I will always bring my car here for service and will definitely be purchasing my next car from them

Decided to try out North Star because there was a white Encore GX I wanted. It's always nerve wracking going to a dealership you've never done any business with. Casey really made the process go smooth. I was able to get the vehicle that I want and in the price I was looking for. Michael from financing was able to get the paper work ready quickly for me to sign. Everything was great and I hope to be back in 39 months when my lease is up!

I usually hate buying cars because it is never a smooth or enjoyable process. This was the EASIEST and SMOOTHEST experience I have ever had. From the front staff, to the sales personal, to the finance guy- this was so easy and enjoyable. 100/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a new car!

Was in the market for a new lease as my 2020 Silverado RST lease was coming to an end. I decided I wanted to transition to a Sierra instead of a new Silverado. The truck I had for trade had around 19k miles on it and the buyout on this truck was $27,500. A fairly good deal for any dealership considering it was valued around $38k-39k at that time. I was initially told Northstar didn't honor the GM supplier discount, but I pressed the salesman on this, he then claimed they do honor the discount just not on their trucks, I pressed him again and he then said: "We do offer it on trucks, but it's not enough to make a difference".I was looking at a 2023 Sierra Elevation and the one and only lease quote was around $880 a month. I asked how that could be and he told me that they can't offer me a trade on my truck and that I'd essentially have to give it to them, let them send it to their Chevrolet dealership and "see what it sells for".I simply had enough. I ended up going back to Mcelwain's in Ellwood City and leased a new 2023 Silverado RST with the 5.3l, Z71 with a full crew cab for ~$580 a month.Incredibly disappointed with the way Northstar handled my situation.

Went in for an inspection. Also was beginning to have an issue with the park gear locking in place a couple of times. Therefore asked for a diagnosis on that issue. Inspection was timely and the parking gear diagnosis was also timely. One thing I would recommend is what to do at the service door entrance? This time I drove in and parked. Other times I parked outside and walked in. Anyhow, I'd recommend either a sign directing persons or communication when the appointment is made on phone or via the internet.

Just traided my Denali 1500 for a newer lower mileage SLT 2500 Duramax. I came from Michigan and used outside financing so we had to figure things out remotely. Dan was great to work with and I'm happy with the deal and experience. It was worth the 9 hour round trip.

Test drove a vehicle. Nice guy. First "offer" by the guy 10 feet away who couldnt stoop to speaking to me, even though I could hear what he told the salesman, was laughable so I left. No counter offer given. Plug all the numbers into the website payment calculator exactly as I was offered. My payments were $50 less per month than their best and only offer. Exact same numbers used. Keep the truck. Gouge someone else. By the looks of the lack of customers I'm guessing its no secret.

A little expensive but the Buick has had no issues since the day we brought it from Zelienople North Star. I think of Dan, who sold us on the ENCLAVE every time I get behind the wheel.
