I just took my car to York Collision on Sherman St. They were going to have my car for ten days, but they actually got it done three days early. They updated me everyday on the status of my car. Everyone was really friendly and they did great work in a timely matter. My car looks great and I am very happy with the work that was done and the service I received. Thank you to everyone for making it a success and making it a great experience. As a plus, my car was vacuumed and washed!!

Friendly to work with and thankfully, since my vehicle was drivable, they waited until parts arrived to take my vehicle in for repair. I was quite impressed when I received my vehicle back. When I got in initially, it appeared to have been detailed on the inside. A few days later when I went to unload groceries is when disappointment set in. There were grease/work finger prints all along my headliner where they had put it back in (after removing it to make repairs), my headliner is not fitting correctly now, there is dust all along my back windows, and my middle seatbelt was not re-installed correctly. The body work on my vehicle appears to be done well, tho I don t know exactly what I m looking at. However, the attention to detail on the interior of my vehicle is quite upsetting. We have filled the survey out accordingly, at this point, and we are waiting to hear back from the collision center to see if they offer to make things right.

Great job. Good communication throughout. Especially liked that they used the same brand of tire to replace the one that was needed. Car looks better than before even where repairs were not needed.

Just picked up our vehicle. Our vehicle s issue wasn t resolved, but to make it worse, our back driver s side window was cracked about an inch (it s 30 degrees outside) and must have been cracked for a couple days awaiting our pickup as the floor is soaked from the torrential rain we had Sunday overnight. Waiting to see if/how the leather seats were affected. Do not recommend.

went to get an estimated very kind person Very good experience. Nice and professional atmosphere. Very courteous just went today left my car in the hand of professional people. Make an update after they finish Update today Mar 2 2021 I went to pickup my car I was so happy nice work everything fix and back in place thank you so much to all employees and yes I recommend this place

Although it took longer than expected the final job was great. It was delayed only because BMW was very slow with parts that we required to make full repair.Most importantly!!! The staff! Everyone of them is genuinely concerned about making their customers happy.I have an older car that s still quite valuable and I trust these guys implicitly.

I am completely satisfied with the repair done to the car. They had very good communication, they were sending updates on the repair every day and the car was ready before the initially scheduled time, very reliable workshop.

I took before and after pics of my 2022 Colorado to show how good of a Job York Collision did. I received updates daily. And they had my truck done by the time they said they would. Took about a month for them to repair my truck.

The absolute worst customer service I ve ever had with any business! In the first initial contact, I was told I would be contacted every 4 days with an update. That never happened. My husband and I had to make every call for a status update for the next 9 weeks. We were lied to for 3 weeks and told that our vehicle was sitting at the paint booth ready to be painted. After the first week of those 3 weeks, the first excuse was that it wasn t painted because a technician quit, the second week was because they had a lot of technicians out sick with some apparent bug that was going around, but the third week, I received an estimate from my insurance company that was higher than the initial estimate. Now for those of you that don t know this, that s called a supplement, which means additional damages were found. Additional damages are not found until your vehicle is torn down to begin repairs. HERE S YOUR SIGN! My vehicle repairs were just started at that point, so it wasn t sitting at the paint booth for the last 3 weeks. Now we have to wait for more parts to come in. A week later they actually called my husband to tell him that all the parts were in and that my car would be done mid to late next week (this was their regular saying every time we called). Which by the way, I was to be the contact person for my car and confirmed with them on the initial first call that they had my cell phone number. I never received any of the calls, until I sent a mass email to my insurance company, my agent and York Collision expressing my frustration. This rating was only given one star because the day after my email was received, I received a call from York Collision s manager, Jeff offering to put me into a rental vehicle and promised that my car would be done by the following Monday, as they cracked a piece of trim while putting my car back together and the part was due to come in the following Monday. The following Monday came and went with no phone call again. Tuesday comes with still no phone call by 4:00 pm. My husband calls them and he was told that it was a mud flap that was cracked and now it will be done by the end of the week. On the 60th day without my car, it s finally done. I go in to pick it up, not one person told me where my car was parked, so I had to ask, to which the response was a finger pointed to the parking lot where multiple cars were parked. Not one person, including the manager, could be bothered to walk out and direct me to my car and even as much as apologize to me for their horrible customer service, nor mention to me how long it should be until I can wash it, go over the vehicle with me to make sure I agreed that the repairs were satisfactory I got nothing!! Just like the entire experience with them. If you have State Farm insurance, this is one of their preferred body shops. I would highly suggest that you #1 change insurance companies because their claim handling is horrible, and they were no assistance whatsoever, and #2 if you re with State Farm, choose a different body shop for your repairs.

Everything was great except they literally admitted to killing my battery while working on my car. Their solution was to quickly jump it with a box instead of replacing the battery THEY KILLED then they shuffled us out saying that all it needed was a quick jump and it would be fine! You get 1 star because getting stranded and having to call a tow truck is not fun and expensive! I ll know in a couple hours from a different mechanic how much more these clowns are going to cost us that won t be covered by insurance.Service: Body & Trim

This was my review from 2 years ago:Extremely happy with the service we received. They gave us a very competitive quote and had the work done in 2 days. The end results were absolutely beautiful, can t say enough about them. I would definitely recommend them for any body work you need done.Unfortunately, here is an updated one from today:A bit disappointed with my most recent visit. I know they do quality work, and last time we were very pleased with the results. However, this time I had an appointment just to get an estimate and after waiting for 25 minutes nobody had even looked at my vehicle yet. Unfortunately, just being able to get the van for the day to take it there straight from work was enough of a hassle (my wife had to use my sedan to haul the kids around for the day), so it being all for naught just makes it that much more frustrating. I realize that things happen, but I expect this kind of wait at the doctors office not a body shop . This was only for an estimate, and I was already planning on getting 2 more as these repairs aren t for an insurance claim. While I know they do excellent body work, it seems that I can already narrow my 3 estimates down to 2. I won t be unreasonable and say that I d never use them again, but they did lose any chance of getting the work for this particular repair job.

So I took my 2011 Buick lucerne to this scam of a business and had the unfortunate experience of meeting their claims estimator (the guy who looks at damage to your car and decides if they will work on it for the insurance company) I have allstate so I felt I was going to be ok and have a decent experience as my car was drivable and there is only body damage. The estimator "Tony" was an obviously miserable man and the negative energy/tension surrounding this man was thick! He proceeded to explain he was sick of doing allstates work at his garage and explained allstate wants his garage to only do allstate jobs and he was very vocal in regards to openly expressing this and his distaste with Allstate in general was extremely apparent. I explained I was just trying to get my car fixed and he was assigned to do the assignment so I asked him to please just help me get back on the road. He later called me and said he was unable to get the parts for my car as they where "discontinued". My car is a 2011 and I asked for a list of the parts he'd need and I offered to find them on my own. I was prepared to go to junkyards or do whatever necessary as my livelyhood is on the line.He explained that he was going to tell allstate his garage was unable to fix my car due to outdated parts he couldn't source. The next day I got excellent news! allstate deemed my car not only fixable and over rid "Tony's" selfish decision. A month later, today.. I called the garage as I'm scheduled to get my repairs started tomorrow and asked if I needed to bring any paperwork or a check for my deductible. The secretary"Tracy" was very kind and said no and to just bring the car over. I'm on my way out the door and the secretary "Tracy" calls back stating "tony" said don't bother bringing my car in as they don't have any of the parts he was responsible for sourcing and supposed to have ordered, on location and ready to install the next day Needless to say I was very frustrated and called allstate. I explained the situation and thebkindchelofulnlady "Yvonne" from allstate called tony. It turns out tony hasn't done anything in the last month in preparation to fix my car..nothing. he didn't let allstate know he couldn't get the parts, he didn't let allstate know what parts he needed, nor did he have the common decency to give me a heads up at least to find a new competent garage. Tony tony tony. You wasted a month of my time. I am very upset to say the least and will be leaving reviews everywhere I can to warn allstate customers about this miserable man . Run from this garage if you are an allstate client and Tony... I hope karma comes for you hard!

York Collision center goes above and beyond. They make the pick-up and drop-off process quick and easy. Having Enterprise on site to get/return a rental is a lifesaver as well. The repairs were as good as could be expected, and they put the extra effort in for the customer by vacuuming and detailing the inside so your vehicle is nice and clean when you get it back.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Best collision shop I have ever used. Not only did they fix my Malibu, they cleaned my interior, and my interior was a huge mess before it got towed. Never doing business with York Collision again. Allstate recommended them to do the repairs since they are part of their network. Our family vehicle needed tires, wheels, some trim, and suspension fixed. After having the vehicle towed to them, we waited a week until the estimate was completed, and another week until they received the parts to fix it. No updates were ever communicated to me on the status of the repair. I called multiple times asking for updates and was told the man handling my vehicle's repairs would call me back. He never did. I eventually went there in person to talk with them. Come to find out, they don't do any mechanical repairs there. After the vehicle sat there for 2 weeks, they had it towed elsewhere for repairs when the parts arrived. Since their communication is non-existent, no one ever told me where they towed my vehicle. After the 3rd week, the mechanical repairs were completed at Apple Ford. Our vehicle was then sent back to York Collision to have the trim installed. Finally something they could handle! If you are looking for a quality place to take your vehicle, keep looking.Services: Tires, Body & Trim

Absolute joke. From the lack of communication between the office and techs,to the length of time each little repair takes to the "put it together wrong and broke it,but it's okay we ordered the part. It should be here next week." My interactions have been terrible. Go anywhere else but here.

I have not had a good experience with this place from the get go. First, it took way to long to just get in for an estimate and when I showed up for the estimate, The lady told me I did not have an appointment. I had spoken to the receptionist twice and confirmed my appointment but when I arrived, she could not find me on the schedule. Apparently she doesn't know how to look up a hyphenated name in the computer system. Once given the estimate, I was quickly given an appointment a month away. Nothing was gone over with me about the estimate and I was not even give the appointment time and date on the paperwork. I guess I was just supposed to remember this until I could write it down when I got home. As I looked the estimate over when I got home, it said they were putting a USED light on my car. My car has full coverage insurance and a new one should be put on. They also had me very confused on my rental car set up. What a circus! The rental company did not provide me with a vehicle equivalent to my vehicle. I drive an SUV. I was given a sporty little car I can't see over the steering wheel because I sit so low in it and I have bad knees and can barely get out of it. I was told my repairs would take 3 days. Today is day 3 and I was told they will have it 8 more days. I called them to find this out because they are not considerate enough to call me. Lousy service at this place.Service: Body & Trim
