I took myTacoma in to have the brakes checked. In which I thought they should need to be replaced. Due to the mileage. I was told my brakes have more than half life left on them. I also had another problem with a loud ticking in the engine. The problem was quickly diagnosed. But the hold up was getting parts on hand. My service advisor Will Martin kept me informed of the status of my vehicle. Hats off to Dave who operates the customer valet service. And last but not least. Thank you to Ethan who perform the work on my truck. You guys are earning my trust. What a great team. Thank you gentlemen. JR

I would like to give a shout out to "Will Martin" at the Toyota Service Center at Whiteford Road. I came in this morning to have my car repaired. Mr. Martin took care of me promptly and was very helpful! He did a great job! The service was awesome! Thank you for taking care of my car! It is appreciated! If you want TOP CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE make sure to go to Toyota of York. I took my car to Toyota of York today. I had noticed that my auto starter was not working responding to my remote nor app. My service advisor Brandon Lutz was extremely helpful and he went above and beyond to make sure my car was properly repaired. He kept me posted with calls, text, and emails. Another great advisor there is Larry. He also kept me updated throughout the process when my car was there for oil changes, inspections, and registration. Even though he wasn't my advisor today he still remembered me and was concerned about what my issue was. These two gentlemen need a raise. They are true examples of TOP CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE.Thank you so much Guys!Service: Oil change

Mr. Brandon Lutz was my service advisor. He was VERY polite and did a GREAT job keeping me updated during my service! He provided me with a detailed explanation of what was done and also included a copy of my multipoint inspection. Overall I was definitely satisfied with my service and will DEFINITELY be doing business here again. 10/10 would recommend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Absolutely amazing service! Been taking my RAV here for service for 3 years .They keep my baby in tip top shape. They always recommend things but never push . They are friendly & punctual.

I had my regular maintenance done for my Toyota RAV4. I was greeted and given what time to expect completion. Easiest maintenance ever! All my experiences with York Toyota have been good to include the car I bought from them and ran 300k miles on it and never had an issue.Service: Tire rotationsService: Tire rotations

I don't know what happened to this place but it's really gone downhill. I've been coming here for many years and have always bragged to other people about how easy, fast, and smooth service was. Last time I was there everyone looked really stressed out and frustrated and it was very crowded. Today it was quiet and everyone was calm. But today was the second time I waited for over an hour past the time they told me it would take. I have no problem waiting for however long it will take or leaving my car for the day if they are backed up and running behind but you have to inform clients of delays! Today I was told 60-90 min, 2 hrs TOPS for oil change/inspection. I was there for over 3 hrs! And not until I approached the desk at the 2.5hr mark did anyone check on it's progress. I was told THEN they are "finishing up the stickers, it will be right out", then waited more than 30 more min. After someone else approached them about wait time I heard a receptionist complain "I don't know why people get mad at us when we are the ones actually working". Well, IDK what THAT means but if I had their job I would be inquiring about vehicle status for waiting customers. If they are understaffed they should take less appointments per day. But they should definitely keeps their customers informed of delays. IF I use them again it will only be for drop off service. I will say the whole inside of my vehicle was wrapped and smelled like disinfectant, so they are at least being careful with COVID.Service: Oil change

Always had battery corrosion issues, first of all! So after getting my 30,000 miles maintenance check, I got home and checked my battery to find corrision!!! My check off list showed OK for my battery, the easiest thing to check!! Now I m wondering what else was not checked. I called Toyota service and the tech said he did not check the battery, wow! No more maintenance at my dealership!!

Took my car in for an oil change that I had an appointment for at 12:30, sat down at 12:50, no problem. The guy said it would take about an hour or so. They came out and told me what that I needed some things for my car, cool also no problem I was already taking care of that. I told them just to go ahead and print the page out with the pricing and they said they were finishing up. That was around 2. It took another 30 to 45 minutes to get my car back just for an oil change. And the lady who checked me out to give me my keys back was very rude.Service: Oil change

Just had my oil changed and the service team is always friendly and service is timely. They give me a time frame and usually are always done before. Everything was great until I was leaving the lot, after maintenance was done, and my maintenance message was still on - they forgot to clear it - as usual. I drove back in and they took the ccar and tried to clear the message. It kept coming back - they said it was for an oil change. I asked why they did not suggest an oil change - they said I should have asked for one. And then told me that the owner needs to assume some responsibility for what they want done. At that point it went from 5 star service to one star, He said that other customers may use another place for oil changes. My response was 'Maybe I should do that. ' He said 'You could'. After that complete silence. I got in my car and drove away. No one said goodbye or anything. It's the little things that keep customers. I have noticed customer service has declined over the last 8 years that I have owned my vehicle and have been using Toyota of York, exclusively. My service team is fantastic. I use Steve Bond and his service crew. They are great. Steve is helpful and cares about his quality of service that he & his team provides. The staff is also friendly. There's a nice sized waiting room with a separate children's area. There's free coffee and vending machines.

I dropped my car off for inspection and an oil change expecting it to need some work to pass inspection. I get a call everything passed and it was good to go. Inspection reports says that everything in inspection report is okay and all fluids are filled. I get 3/4 of the way home and go to spray my windshield and nothing comes out. I pull over and it was never filled and the report said it was checked and already filled.It makes me question, if they cannot even do the simplest of tasks, did the inspection and oil change ever get done or was it just pushed through and I was told it was done. This is not the first issue I have had with Toyota of York, they have lost my business for the future.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Had to get a couple recalls taken care of - they gave be a brand new Tahoe as a rental and kept it Thursday - Monday since my car wasn t done until Friday and I couldn t get there to swap it out. Awesome service! Thank you!

I have a nail in my tire, which is filled with nitrogen. I called to see how much it would cost to patch the tire and refill with nitrogen. Was told the next available appointment was Saturday, July 3!!!! I can't believe fixing a tire is by appointment, will make sure the next nail I pick up is aware of this!!!Service: TiresService: Tires
