I looked around different places for a vehicle and original planned on buying an older used car. I didn t have luck finding anyone worth working with until I came to Thornton. After careful consideration I decided on a newer vehicle and Jonathan Cox was very helpful in getting me into an SUV I seen that I absolutely fell in love with right away! The customer service from Jonathan and the rest of the staff was beyond exceptional. I didn t expect to be treated so well, I felt like I was being treated like family! Absolutely amazing experience! Anybody looking for a gently used vehicle in excellent condition I highly recommend Thornton on Whiteford Rd, especially Jon, I had an amazing buying experience with him. Come check them out and you won t be disappointed!

We came into Thornton after talking to Jennifer on the phone about a 2500 Ram. Once at the dealership, we worked with Jennifer and Malik and they both were wonderful. They were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They got us a great deal and we left loving our new vehicle! I highly recommend Thornton for your car purchase needs!

Jon Cox was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! Best car shopping experience ever! Personality, comfort level, knowledge, understanding and communication was spot on. He met the same vibe as me which in turn made me extremely comfortable with asking questions and it made the experience fun. I'm very thankful to have had him as my sales guy.

Very nice people and very helpful with helping me get my new vehicle. As a mechanic I thought about taking out a warranty on my purchase and they talked to me about taking out a warranty and got me the best warranty to cover all repairs. I m very happy with my purchase and very happy about my purchase experience here at Thornton Automotive. Would recommend anyone looking for a used vehicle to stop over and take a look.

Malik was our sales guy he did a solid job explaining and answering questions didn't try to over sell and kept things straight to the point and honestly in all the car buying experiences (buying with friends included) i have had was the quickest and least hassle i have had to date

Jennifer the financial officer, is great! And Malik is nice and friendly. They quoted me a monthy payment over the phone and came under it when I was on site. Manager gave me a great value for my trade in. Also the manager worked with me on the vehicle I was interested in. No constant haggle, push back, and or going back and forth. Also they stayed true to their word. Someone else was interested in the vehicle I was in the process of getting, and they didnt sell it out from under me. (Its happened to me before) They told the other interested party they would let them know if it was sold or not. Honesty and integrity. Hard to find these days and these people have it.

This dealership is top notch! The service department is always very detailed with taking care of my vehicles. They communicate with the customer with what they find and do not nickel and dime you. They listen to you and your concerns and try to get your vehicle repaired promptly.

Sister went to reverse in an "inspected" vehicle, turns out that the throttle wanted to lock in reverse gear and keep in lock even against brakes. Stayed in lock (reverse overdrive) for so long, ended up taking her into the neighbors yard down the hill because SHE COULDN'T STOP THE CAR! All she could do was steer, and guess the tree was the safest bet. We haven't had this car for long, and it has only been used for work, so this IS NOT a result of improper usage.

This is my 2nd experience purchasing a vehicle from Thornton automotive. I am still driving my 1st purchase from them, and now I've added a 2nd purchase.My 2nd experience was OUTSTANDING. I worked with Malik D. for the purchase. I purchased a Lunar Rock Toyota 4Runner Trd pro. I had spent 2 days with other dealers trying to find my dream vehicle. He was very warm, and knowledgeable.The other two dealerships actually reached out while I was going over the numbers with Malik. I told them I was staying with Malik.I also wanted to add, they gave me the best trade in value offer on my car. And both of the other dealerships made fantastic offers. I traded in a Voodoo blue Toyota Tacoma Trd Pro with only 15,000 miles on it.I'm very happy with my experience.I highly recommend Thornton automotive for all your vehicle purchases.Thank you Malik D, and Thornton Automotive. I'll be back again!!!

This was my first time visiting Thornton Automotive York, and I must say it was an awesome experience. Colton was a huge help in getting me into a vehicle I have dreamed of getting for years. I shared my story with him while testing driving another truck, he listened and check the inventory and found the vehicle of my dreams and had it transferred to the York location. SHADY DEALERSHIP THAT GOES BACK ON THEIR WORD! WITHHOLDS MONEY TO CUSTOMERS. GIVES YOU THE RUNAROUND. AND WON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS. Bad experience buying a car when dealer used pressure techniques to sell a car and also raise required deposits. They provided us the wrong information on how they will pay for our MD registration and then went back on their word to send us the check for the car registration. This led to multiple phone calls and being told the managers are either too busy or not in the store. And even when promised to get a return call, the managers never called back. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP BECAUSE THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IF THEY CAN! THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SEVERELY LACKING!

I recently purchased an F-150, and I couldn t have been more pleased! I had a salesman named Jon and he made the process super simple and quick. With a little help from his coworker Zach, Jon and I tied up a few loose knots and closed the deal. I couldn t have had any better of an experience purchasing my first vehicle. I dropped my vehicle off with a scheduled appointment for an oil change and asked them to drive it because , I have been noticing a hesitation sometimes. Of course it did not do it for them. When I picked it up, Josh , one of the mechanics went for a ride with me so we could find the issue. I really appreciate the extra time they gave me!
