Great knowledgeable staff. Will say be prepared if waiting for your vehicle for a little bit longer wait. But this is to be expected cuz things do pop up with other vehicles. But overall highly recommend.

I went to their store last week. I had a low beam out. I was charged $269.99 to install the headlight. Did bot know it was so costly to install a low beam. The gentlemen were all very nice, but I can't get over the labor fee.

Excellent service from here today! Bill and his staff were extremely helpful and even got me a same day inspection with multiple headaches in the way. The inspection was done in record time and in a professional manner. Thank you again!!!

I had a great visit to Pep Boys in York PA. They were very thorough with the service request and repairs needed. They walked me through everything in detail and explained my options. I was out in less than an hour. Friendly staff and good service!

Went to get an oil change here, was helped in a timely manner and everything was very fair. Only cost me $56 with a coupon:) Just wanna mention the guy at the front desk when I came to pick up my car was so nice. Even had a small conversation with him, you guys made a good choice hiring him. Definitely my go to place now

Went in a couple of weeks back after my car broke down and called and worked with Jay who helped break down getting a tow and getting everything set up. I already knew the issue at the time and had my car fixed in a timely manner and reasonable cost. Live out by the Lancaster location and started avoiding it since they always claim damages and when I'd take it out it was never as severe or the damage that was stated. I work out here in York and will definitely start using this store instead.

Had an appointment scheduled for Friday, but unexpectedly had time days sooner. Called to see if there was availability for this day and was told yes to come in whenever and ask for Jay. I arrived about 30 minutes after that phone call at 10am. It took 3.5 hours while I watched people come and go I was the only one left. Was told because I didn't have an appointment that's why I was still there. I was told my appointment was moved to this day. Jay at the front counter was very rude, not personable and basically wanted me to thank him for getting my car in that day. If I knew I would of been there for almost 4 hours I never would of went. They also carelessly put on my new tires. My rims are fill with there lube, scratches, and they couldn't be bothered to take off the stickers around the tires. I understand things happen, but because of customer service I will not be back.

WORST place to get tires!!!! DO NOT USE PEP BOYS!!! My wife went in to get 2 tires on the front of her car (front wheel drive). Wanted new tires to go in snow and bad weather since the old ones were very low. The rear tires were decent but used. The tire tech decided to put new tires with the good tread on the rear of the vehicle. Defeats the purpose of getting more traction on the drive wheels. These people are idiots that don t use common sense. Now they refuse to put them where they should be. Do not use these scam artists. It took almost an hour and a half for 2 tires.

I never dealt with Pep Boys before today and I will definitely be there again. I went to have my car inspected in York Pennsylvania. They told me it would be a few hours. It was way sooner than they said they were so polite and friendly. It was an awesome experience. The employees were so nice everyone of them from the cashier to the mechanics, thank you guys

Made an appointment for an oil change over the phone. When I brought the vehicle in I sat in the waiting room for an hour and they had not started to even work on my vehicle. When I asked about how long it may take they said another hour to an hour and a half. I couldn't wait that long for an oil change. So I went somewhere else.

Took my 2012 Jeep Compass in for a simple thermostat change and diagnostic. The appointment was scheduled for 9 AM and we were there slightly early. It took them over an hour just dor the diagnostic. Then while changing the thermostat they broke the shifter cable. Now 24 hours later my car still is not done. They also gave an estimate over the phone for the work, got there and was quoted something 3X the amount. Completely unacceptable. Only giving a two star because they are fixing the shifter cable for free.

Pep boys looks like a failing business these days. When I met the lead tech for an appointment scheduled online, he said he was in the middle of fixing a mess up from someone else and then didn t know what grade of oil to put in my Altima.I walked out before they could touch my car.I was an Uber driver for 5+ years and never had to walk out of a store that services cars like I did today.Pep boys was a different store 5 years ago. What a shame.

Wyatt at the front desk was very professional, courteous, and helpful. I was in need of 4 new tires before winter, and hated the sticker shock of tires anywhere I shopped. Thankfully, Pep Boys was having a buy 3 get one free offer. I was offered Cooper Tires which I have had on other vehicles in the past, I knew it was a good brand and were very reliable. The tires were in stock, and I was offered an appointment the very next day. I asked for Saturday instead, and was warned it would be a very busy day. Peter at the counter on Saturday, was very nice and was ready for my appointment. I dropped off my car at 8am, and received notification by 10:30 am that it was finished. I was able to do free financing for 12 months, which was an added bonus for my wallet! I would highly recommend this Pep Boys location for tires. Thank you all so much.

Very nice employees. I got my inspection done from there. Really quick. They didn't pressure me to get anything else done except what I need to pass. I would definitely recommend.

Made an appointment for an oil change at 5pm got there around 4:45pm. The guy in the counter tells me it's going to be about an hour wait so I tell him that's fine I can wait since I needed the oil change for an upcoming trip. 2 minutes later he comes and tells me that he was just going to reschedule me for another day I told him I needed the oil change that I was going to leave on a trip and he tells me nah I'm just going to reschedule you.. I ended up leaving and having to rush and find a place that would do it.. poor customer service don't schedule appointments for 5 and 6pm if you don't want to work that late .

I bought tires from TireRack because they were not available locally. Tires were delivered directly to Pep Boys. That was all fine. Price to mount the tires was exceptional at Peb Boys. Problem was the mounting of the tires. Normal time for 4 tires is ONE hour. I spent 2 1/2 hours. Manager blamed the delay on an 85lb young girl that did the work. Why would she get the job at my expense. If she isn't capable, then assign a different technician. Next time, I will pay a little more and go somewhere different for service.

VERY HONEST PLACE!!I took my car in because I thought I needed tires and I was about to get my car inspected. The front one was wearing on the outside. They took a look and let me know that I didn't, but may need an alignment.Very thankful for their honesty and integrity. Some places take advantage of a woman , but not this place!

I went here to get a quote on possibly replacing the lug bolts for all four tires and the guy told me that it will cost me about $600! I went somewhere else and I just paid them $100 for it.

I've had to replace my tires due to all the horrible areas on the roads and metal in my tires from the road work they've been doing everywhere. The people at Pep Boys gave me a great deal on my tires with a warranty and they are super to deal with. Every person there knows exactly what they're doing! I bought my last tires at Brooks Huff in Manchester and when one of the tires blew out on 83, they refused to honor the extra warranty that I paid for to replace it. Pep Boys took care of everything for me. I drive a lot for work so I'll be going to Pep Boys for what I need now. I already have my next appointment. You won't go wrong with them.

I showed up late to have a tire pulled and and and and added and they were not happy but they did it and record time and got me out of there and I didn't like the fact that I was I came so late but they still took care of me I appreciate that guys

Staff was great, helpful, kind and very fast. My only complaint was cost. Labor cost more then parts. It is the staff of the york shop that will bring me back.
