I had a great experience at the York Meineke Car Care Center this Saturday. Late on the day when most would be winding down for the weekend, the their team at this shop went above and beyond to find out and address a coolant leak issue in my car.Despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon, Nolan was able to squeeze my need, ensuring that the car was ready in the same day. They were able to get the diagnostic, get the parts and the service done all in an afternoon.Moreover, the team's dedication to staying a bit late the closing hours to ensure my car was ready and safe to drive back home for 2 more hours again tells about their customer care. It's not every day you come across a service that's willing to extend their hours, especially on a weekend, to accommodate an emergency repair.I cannot recommend this Meineke location enough for anyone in need of car repairs. I will also add that they have a very good service price compared to other shots. Even though living hours of distance, I would definitely come back to repair any other issue my car may have in the future.

I had a great experience with Buddy and Willie C at the Meineke on Queen St in York PA. Buddy was great from the start of our service interaction until the very end. Very friendly, respectful and super helpful. He guided me through the issues that I was facing, making it as painless and smooth as possible. He really demonstrated care and concern for me as a customer and guest. Willie was tremendous and his knowledge and level of expertise was amazing. He detected the problem fast and even took some time to explain to me what happened and results of his findings. I appreciate the support provided throughout my experience and happy to have worked with such a wonderful team! I know where to go for my future car repairs and maintenance going forward!

My 2014 explorer had a bad leaking exhaust. It s was a large portion of the system. They guys were so nice. Took pictures of the condition and even drew a map of what they would do to fix it and what was salvageable . Took it in on a Tuesday around lunch had it back Wednesday at the same time. Honest , straightforward and very polite. Appreciate the good attitude and the great work! Would definitely use again.

After paying for the bill. I got the paperwork stating what the amount, for each thing that they have done. I was charged 200 for brake fluid and labor. 560 for replacing 4 spark plugs. If I would have seen the estimate before the work. I would have decline it. This place is a joke. Never again!!

I love this Meineke location. Service is not only great, it's friendly and accommodating. Buddy was especially awesome during my last visit. The pricing for service is laid out well and although they aren't the absolute cheapest for service, they are priced competitively and aren't way over what they should be. With the quick friendly service that never has me being ripped off and pushed for service I don't need, they've got a loyal customer!

Had a great experience at this auto shop!! Nolan, the front end rep for the shop made everything clear and concise. Answered every question I threw at him. And made sure that the shop only had their best interests in mind while they took care of my vehicle.

I visited the Meineke Car Care Center on S Queen St for the first time today. So good was the service, i.e., oil, lubes, and tires, that I was driven to write a review. I was greeted by name on entering the building and Buddy explained clearly how they would service my car. The initial courtesy inspection provided a high degree of confidence that they were a high quality team with the interests of the customer foremost in their ethos. The car genuinely purred as I departed and I will be a return customer.

My experience with meineke was beyond pleasing. The hospitality was amazing. Upon my arrival I was offered water and or coffee and seating for my wait. The team worked efficiently to resolve all of my issues in a timely manner. I initially visited for a state inspection and they took the initiative to check other areas of my car to make sure everything was ok. I own a Mercedes in which the men were very knowledgeable about and educated me on the care that it need to remain problem free. I definitely will be returning back for any of my car needs. This Meineke location pricing was fair and affordable. Their communication was informative, I was seen immediately upon arrival and out in a timely manner with more knowledge about my care needs. I would rate this place 5 stars!

I am VERY disappointed with my experience at this location. I came in to get my brakes replaced and I mentioned that I had a check engine light on and wanted to know if they could check the codes. Nolan said he would have them look at it. After looking over everything, he was going to charge me $1700 for both front and rear brakes! OUTRAGEOUS!! Since I declined that service, I was then told that all I needed to do was take care of the diagnostic test they did on my check engine light.....$212 just for that and I was never told that I was going to be charged for that service ahead of time! They never found anything during the check either. Completely disgusted and totally got ripped off. DO NOT go here for services that you'll pay out the nose for. :(

My first experience with Meineke took place this week and I was so impressed. There was constant communication regarding my car's service and when the inspection was completed, I received a full report including photos! It was amazing. Darrell was so friendly and really was great to work with. I will absolutely be returning for future car needs!!

I was objectively lied to multiple at this location by Nolan. Went here to get a state inspection because I had heard good things about this location. After an hour of waiting Nolan asked if we'd take a loaner because it would take another hour; We declined and an hour more he asked if we could reschedule the appointment because it would take another 3 hours which was when we agrred to take the loaner instead. Some time later Nolan calls me and lets me know that to continue the emissions test we needed a new gas cap. (Red flag one, any place can say your gas cap is leaking fumes, throw it away to never be found again and charge you for a gas cap) I had essentially asked Nolan if it was cheap and under $20 and he assured me it was less and cheap without telling me the exact cost. (Red flag two) 4:45PM (Our appointment was at 10:30AM) Nolan calls letting me know that they need the loaner back at 5:00PM because another store needs it and it would be another hour before its finished. (Red flag three) Due to the circumstances my wife had to go. (You know where this is headed) My wife calls to tell me how the bill over $100+, which at that time made no sense but my son was crying and I couldn't stay on the phone to talk. When I have the bill, Nolan charged us $40.15 for the gas cap. I called Nolan and asked him how much he told me the gas cap was and he said, "bout $20". The rest of the call Nolan tried to lie and fast talk his way into justifying what he did by giving us preemptive discounts on the bill "to make things right" even to the point of talking to me like a literal child and telling me to essentially 'Do the math'. When I obliged him and did the math - it obviously still turned out to exactly what I was said, which was then when Nolan told me I could come back and he would do whatever it takes to make it right. I told Nolan that I would only come back to to business with the owner. ( I do not do business with liars.) Nolan then tried to convince me to just do business with him and when I told him I would only work with the owner and asked Nolan when the Owner would be back he told me had had absolutely no idea where or when the owner would ever be back. If you thought it doesn't get worse - it does. After the call my wife told me Nolan only offered those discounts AFTER she complained how expensive a $40 gas cap is, going to show how far Nolan went out of his way to lie to us. Additionally he told my wife there was a bunch of 'other things' he could have changed us for on the inspection which he wouldnt elaborate on at all. Finally my wife also told me that before she left, even with everything that happened, she thanked Nolan for the loaner vehicles and Nolan made a point to add "..and those discounts too!" Before she left. I'll allow that to speak for itself for the character of Nolan.In the end we waited almost 8 hours for a 30 minute inspectionSince this I have contacted Meineke Customer Service, Meineke Corporate, the BBB (They are not accredited), a local newsgroup who investigates fraud and wrongdoing of mechanic shops in PA, and PA General Attorney Michelle Henry.I intend to come back still and do business with the owner on this transaction, as well as my followup inspection.

Took my car in for an oil change and to have a single tire pressure sensor replaced.Their mechanic clearly has no idea what he's doing.My car now skids around corners because he replaced tie rods without doing an alignment.He returned the car with the engine light on and had to use a code reader to figure out that he failed to plug something back in.The mechanic broke a tire pressure sensor then failed to replace it but I was still charged for it.Basically I dropped 1500 bucks for an oil change.

Nolan was phenomenal! I had my brake caliber seize up and was going to be out of commission but he worked me in the schedule and got me back on the road same day. Great guy, conversation and never missed a beat between customers calls and lending assistance to his mechanic.

Highly recommend!!! My engine light was on and I chose this shop because it was close to home but I have a new mechanic for life now! Buddy thoroughly explained everything that needed to be done and when there was a little snag with my extended warranty he talked me thru options and kept me from getting stressed out! He stayed in constant contact updating me and was done sooner than expected! I will always recommend this shop and Buddy to anyone who asks! The whole thing was definitely a five-star experience!!!!!!

My experience at this location was very great and they were able to squeeze me in for a last minute oil change/tire rotation. I was grateful for their hospitality and their efficiency while I waited. They provide a great detailed and thorough service here.

Buddy was amazing. He greeted me by name when I came in for my appointment. He made sure I was confertable offering me water or Coffee, and letting me know where the restrooms were. When it came time to tell me what was wrong with my car he explained it to me a way I could understand it. He even explained your partnership with the finance company. I didn't need to use that at this time but it is nice to know that it is there if I need to.

This has been by far the easiest place to deal with when it comes to my car. They were very professional from the time I walked in the door to the time they were finished my services. Everything was explained thoroughly and they ve provided prompt service. My car was in and out in a matter of a couple of hours and everything works perfectly. The staff in on 12.9.23 were amazing. They were running behind in requests due to staffing for the day. I was getting worried when I hadn't heard my son's car who had been there since his 9am appointment window, and it was about an hour till closing. We took a ride over and they explained what was going on. We waited until they were able to pull it in, and they even stayed a little over to ensure it got inspected that day. Thank you for taking care of my son's first car inspection and taking the additional time out of your day.

I used to always take my car to Meineke. I moved to York so I decided to take my car here for an inspection because I ve always had good experiences. They told me the car failed and I have a warranty on it but in order to not pay a deductible I have to take it to a specific place. I took my car into the other shop and 10 minutes after dropping it off they told me the car was in wonderful condition and there s no reason it should have failed. So now I ve paid for 2 inspections. I will not be coming back.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I was recently pulled over for an expired inspection. As a 24 year old with my second car, these things sometimes slip my mind. I searched for a shop as soon as possible, and the mineke on queen street was the only one able to get me in. I met with the man at the front desk, Nolan. He was very friendly, patient, and talked me through the process. My car failed inspection the first time, financing options and a full rundown of all possible issues were discussed with Nolan. I rescheduled a week later. There were a few things I was able to fix myself, but I did need much help from mineke. Nolan spoke several times (both In person and over the phone) to my sister ( auto cosigner) and I to find the best option for me.Today, starting from when the store opened to 2pm, Nolan has supported us every step of the way.

Very easy to get an appointment quickly. Appointment was for headlight replacement which can be difficult on my vehicle. Appointment took about an hour in and out which is very acceptable. Staff was very friendly and polite.

As a teenager who only knows a handful about cars this place was amazing. Mechanics that I have been to have over charged and taken advantage of me, but my experience was great. Buddy and everyone there was so nice.

Nolan was extremely helpful. He was patient and answered all of my questions. Even in ways that would help me understand better. My funds were tight as his findings were unexpected. Instead of sending me away, he told me about their financing. I applied. The process was easy and you find out right away if you are approved. He worked with my budget and Now, I will be driving my car without the hassle of it needing a jump. Most importantly, I will be driving my car under safer conditions. Nolan was so concerned about my safety that there was no way I could ignore him. If you are looking for a place to service your vehicle with people who are understanding and genuinely caring please go there. I don t know about anyone else but me as a female going to these car places alone, a lot of the times it s just about getting my money. I knew Nolan was somebody I could trust and I don t trust easily. He put my mind at ease and took some of the stress of my back and I hope he knows that.NOW..WHAT YALL WAITING FOR GO SEE NOLAN AT MEINEKE

Came here for inspections & had a great experience with their service. You get a free estimate on what s wrong with your car and also they have payment plans. I will be coming back for any services I need. I would recommend 100%Staff are friendly and understanding.

First off it took them 2hrs just to do a simple inspection. They tried to tell me that I needed a tune up which is a Lie because I had a complete tune up less than 1k miles ago. Tried to say my oil was dirty which is another lie because my oil has only 200 miles on it. I just had my oil changed. They didn t know that I work on vehicles myself and I could see that they were trying to up charge me. I ll never bring another vehicle that I own here ever again. I don t like being lied to with a straight face. How does it take 2hrs to do an inspection just to say my truck failed and just get an Emissions sticker. I went to another inspection place the very next day and my truck passed. They also tried to say my suspension was bad which is another lie.

Literally the best car service I've ever had. The manager, Hannah, is a superstar. She went out of her way to help me handle a difficult car situation with much less stress. I would probably be sitting on the side of the road typing this review if it wasn't for Hannah and her team!

We can't sing their praises enough. We feel very luck finding this auto shop that is honest and looking out for your best interest while giving recommendations about our car's maintenance. The manager, Hannah, has be fantastic every time we've brought our car in. She has always kept us well informed as the work is being completed on our car, and they always finish the work within the time they quoted. They are a fantastic establishment to work with! Meineke on Queen St got me in quickly for my inspection. Great service, very thorough and explained everything to me that needed fixed. Took pictures. Friendly. Got me back in quickly for repairs.
