Awesome shop! I go allover the country and there aren't many honest ones out there anymore.

Unfortunately, this place has started to go downhill over the past year. We've been going to them with all of our vehicles for about the past 5-6 years. The customer service is no longer there; very short and impatient. This has happened a lot with my wife calling but I've experience it too. Also, the work is not being done as requested. Most recently, I had my vehicle inspected. It needed new tires and was recommended to get an alignment. So, I got new tires put on at Sam's Club. Took the vehicle back for reinspection AND requested an alignment. Granted last minute, my wife also requested an oil change on the drop envelope as our service light came on during this time passage. Neither service was done except for the reinspection. When my wife questioned if the oil change was done, she was told, "Oh yeah, that didn't get done. The guys probably didn't read the envelope." Cleanliness of customer's vehicles is not being maintained either. There were oil/hand smears all over the area where the new inspection stickers are. Our armrest, that already has the leather messed up from normal wear & heat, ended up getting a sticky/greasy residue on it. I hope McCarthy can up their service quality as they've been good with us in the past; just not lately.

McCarthys was literally 4.5 miles from customer where they replaced a tire. They charged 2 hrs to go 4.5 miles and change a tire. When i called to question the $270 charge for two hours of labor (2 @ $110/hr road service call plus 2 @ $25.hr for energy charge)i was put on eternal hold and then hung up on. Should have listened to the other google reviews. Wont call here again, too many truck tire repair shops in York.

Just a little concerning a customer comes in hours before but a customer that comes in ten mins later is already back on the road while other customer hasn t been told a word a time anything lack of professional customer service when someone has waited two hours and is watching there employees eat lunch I m guessing you gotta know people at this business to receive a certain quality of work .?

Very professional. Took my car at the appointed time. And perform the work in a professional Manor. I will go back to them for all my tire needs.

Service was good, but I was annoyed they didn't want to honor my account because I never was at this shop before. The checks always went to headquarters in Wilkes Barre, Pa no matter which shop I used so I didn't think it made any sense. And then it took a long time to get the sales tax taken off even though I have an exemption form on file.

called got a quote ,stoped out they did the work on the spot and stuck to the quote.very good service , very good work . thank you, its hard to find this anymore . they did not try to sell me anything just did the work i asked for and they did it well.the guys back in the shop seemed to really know what they are doing and enjoyed doing there job.
