Overall the purchasing process was clear and good. Before purchasing the vehicle, I was emailing the requested documents to the sales person. However he was not able to open the attachments. I had to take pictures and send via my cell phone. That was a time wasting for myself. On the day I saw the vehicle, I noticed a small yellowish spot on the hood that was cleaned in a short time. There was no disagreement over the price and financial loan on the day of vehicle purchasing. It took more than 30 minutes to meet with the financial person. The completion of the financial paperwork was easy and timely.

Dan C. Was great. Right from the start when I was just looking at cars before my insurance check came in he was on it. Good follow up. We made the deal on an Nline a month or so later after first contact, which I absolutely love! Dan is the man! I ll definitely send people his way! Thanks boss!!

I didn t have the best experience with this dealership. I tried to buy a car, and I entered everything in online ahead of time. I had a salesman reach out to me to discuss the deal listed online. At first they tried to charge me more but they did make it close to what I saw online as far as the price, interest rate, and payment goes. I wanted to buy the car on a Wednesday but the salesman was unavailable. He made me schedule another time, but I was hesitant because I work remote and I am on calls all day. The Wednesday I wanted to go I had all afternoon available. I reached back out to the salesman to tell him I wanted to do it that day. He was frustrated and had an attitude on the phone because he would lose the sale. I said I am sorry but I can t commit to coming in another day. He said he would call me back with another sales person to complete the deal. When he called me back I was on my way to the dealership at that point and he said no one was available so I would have to stick to the original plan. I was very frustrated. I explained to him that I have never had a salesperson or dealership try and sell me a car this way by telling me when THEY WILL SELL ME THE CAR. At the end of the day I decided not to purchase a vehicle from this dealership because of the way I was treated over the sale. I am sure others have had good luck here but I did not. I will pay more at another dealership that treats there customers better instead if being told when I can purchase a vehicle, and being made to work around the salesman s schedule.

Hands down the best car buying experience I've ever had. They were not only helpful and low-pressure but they actually listened to what I wanted and worked with my requests. No drawn-out haggling or feeling captive. I was able to apply for financing online and worked out details prior to coming in to pick up the vehicle. I was in and out within an hour to finalize paperwork and pick up my vehicle. No exaggeration. It was AMAZING! Jack Giambalvo Hyundai sets the standard for customer service and how a car buying experience should be!

Had a great experience at this dealership!! Cody was especially great to work with! He was always very responsive and made me feel like his only customer. I didn't feel any pressure to get something I didn't 100% love and even though i was not able to find exactly what I was looking for, he was always on the lookout for me! Great customer service!!

Mike C. was fantastic to work with. I had my choices down to 2 vehicles closer to where I lived. I work in this area, so I simply stopped in to get a look at the car one last time with zero intention of buying it here. Mike greeted me and didn't complain about why I was there, but really focused on helping me. He was so knowledgeable and helpful that I actually asked for a quote, then test drove the car. The more I got to work with Mike during this process, the better I felt about buying from him and not from the one closer to my home. I made the right choice!

I've been buying cars for a long time and this was the best experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. I always dread it, because it seems like you're in the dealership all day, but this time was surprisingly very enjoyable. I had a wonderful salesman, Ed Ditzel. He made buying a car fun and not stressful. I would recommend Jack Giambalvo Hyundai of East York to anyone, and in fact, I already did.

I�was reluctant to take my vehicle to a collision center after my parent s vehicle was taken to one and the vehicle was never the same.I spoke the mechanic (Steve A.) about my vehicle at least once a week, inquiring about my vehicle. I appreciate him and the rest of his team putting up with me. He emailed me the estimate and detailed as to what needed to be fixed and how long the repair should take. Once my vehicle was in line for repair, it took about 5 days to complete (repair parts/body and paint job). Because of where my damage was, I cracked my bumper. I had a Euro Vanity Plate on my car, that was covering up 7 holes that was there before I purchased the vehicle. Steve called and asked that since the bumper is being replaced, did I want to put the vanity plate back on. I appreciate him calling me to ask if I wanted that done, instead of just going ahead with was the car came in with. The work that Steve and his team did is amazing. The repair and paint are exactly what my car looked like before my accident, and it drives great!

My daughter and I had a very good experience selecting and purchasing a beautiful Elantra Limited with James as our point person to guide us on this journey. He impressed me as being a very good listener and never tired of our questions. He expertly compared & contrasted the different models we were considering, showing the financials for each. I was very happy to find out that they work with Costco pricing. From all aspects this dealership is very efficient. Our time was not wasted. The other bonus I found out is that state inspections are free only need to pay for emissions testing. Happily we were excited to drive home our beautiful Elantra the same day.

Recently purchased a Tucson hybrid and very impressed by the car. The employees are top notch! Brian was our salesman- very knowledgeable about the vehicle and very kind. After some second guessing on my part, Dan Casillo helped me get it done. Even put a bow on her 2017 Mazda CX-5. After careful reviews of several dealers. we ended up buying a new Santa Fe hybrid SUV from Jack Giambalvo.The whole deal was closed in just few hours.Daniel Casillo did a great job of answering all our questions. Every element of positive car purchase was our experience with the Jack Giambalvo Hyundai dealership and our consultant Brian Dolan. Like most car purchasers, we knew the car we desired, a 2024 Tucson Hybrid. Without pressure, the various trims were explained and we were able to focus on the Blue and SEL. Brian promptly calculated his offer with discount, incentives, rebate and trade in; all were most fair and appreciated. Additionally, the warranty and dealer add on was so encouraging that we purchased two Tucson Hybrids - the Blue and the SEL.Working out the financing package was thorough, explained well and paced nicely so that we felt comfortable with our down payment and financing package.We dealership shopped for our car purchase and can honestly recommend Jack Giambalvo Hyundai. We got the best price within 150 miles of State College at Giambalvo, worked with Travis via text and email. Travis was patient, professional and knows all the new tech. Out of 10 dealerships he was the most responsive by far. The paperwork was quick and painless due to an efficient finance office. If you want a new Hyundai at the best price start here.

I recently bought an Ioniq 5 SEL 2023 here. This was my second car purchase from Jack Giambalvo, and the buying experience was as great as that of the first one a few years ago with a Hyundai Sonata. I had the pleasure of having Mike and Dillon again. They answered all my questions and explained everything clearly. Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable. He showed me around the car, demonstrated how to use the features, and took me for a test drive. He was patient and attentive to my needs and preferences. Dillon took care of the financing stuff efficiently. Their pricing and discounts were competitive compared to many other dealerships in the region. Would definitely recommend and come back in a near future for another car!

What a big joke. Nobody knew what the heck they were doing in the service dept. I have never been so mad at a car dealership like I was today. Attitude from the people only 1 person was really helping me and he said how sorry my experience was. I don't think much of the general manager or the service manager. Trying to tell me I damaged my hyundai and I didn't. Its amazing how people can lie. Not sure if I would tell anyone else to buy a car there

Franz, the service manager is a 10/10, fantastic employee. Communicative, explained the process in detail and kept me up to date on all the happenings with my vehicle.Would have given 5 stars if they hadn't thrown away my EZ Pass that I forgot stuck to the windshield. My fault for forgetting but I remembered in less than 48 hours, and every knows what an EZ Pass looks like, common sense says to set it aside.Will I buy another Hyundai? Absolutely not. But that's has nothing to do with this dealership.
