Jordan did a great job installing a lift kit as well as some wheel spacers and running boards on my truck. Definitely helps give the truck a more aggressive look now. Thanks ETG for all that you did!

Called these guys because we (Yeti Fence) were stuck out of town. Had our truck towed there, they diagnosed fast and accurately, gave us sound advice and has us back up and running the next day! Highly recommend! And we may even go out of town to them for their expertise when we have future issues!

Shawn and Jordan did a great job on my truck. I had over $4000 of work done including the radiator support and oil pan gasket. Now, a year and 2 months and 5k miles later my oil pan gasket is leaking. Calls,texts and emails all go unanswered. Find another reputable diesel garage.

One word...AWESOME! Shawn and Jordan and the rest of the Empty Tank team have been there for me and helped me get my '06 6.0 back on the road after a series of unfortunate events. First we bulletproofed, then just my luck--threw a main bearing. So, we decided to rebuild the motor--with some upgrades. Truck was great...then I hit a telephone pole and tore the dually axle off. Insurance totaled the truck, but I had more money in the motor then what insurance offered. Discussing my options with Shawn, I bought the salvage truck and put my trust in Empty tank. This hasn't been easy, then covid slowed things down, and of course the old..."well, while we're doing this, why not upgrade to this". I now have a preformance truck specially built for me to pull my 5th wheel. Just look at my finished truck...I love it, and get asked about it and complimented all the time.Empty Tank Garage....Professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, fair, super communication, and they stand behind their work. If you have a diesel (or really any kind of engine/car/truck), this is the place to go! Jordan worked on my 2003 6.0L Powerstroke, and got all my problems resolved. I had gotten the truck in the fall from a dealer (I won't name names, but it rhymes with "Your Auto Source, Inc. on Taxville rd. in West York", and had a LOT of issues that weren't covered by the useless used car warranty. Jordan looked over my truck, and sat down with me to give me an honest rundown of everything that needed to be done. He was upfront with me about the cost, and every estimate that he provided me was very accurate.It was costly, but this kind of work almost always is (see the list of work performed below). In addition, they warranty all their work and stand behind it (a warranty that actually covers what it's supposed to-what a great idea!). I was a bit concerned about dropping so much coin into a truck I had just bought, but it's still cheaper than a new truck overall and it runs better than new now!The guys at ETG did the following:-New turbo-New injectors-Head gasket job-Machined Heads-ARP head studs-Blue Spring Upgrade-Fluids flushed/changed-Cleaned/painted engine block-My EGR system "fell off..."-and a few other things like adding archoil, waxing the truck, etc... that they certainly didn't need to do, but went the extra mile.Overall, I am VERY impressed with the quality of the work. I had a bit of an emergency situation, and my truck took about 4 weeks from start to finish, but it was more than worth the wait. I now have a 6.0 that will last me many more miles, and I can haul my camper from coast to coast without having reliability issues. With the recent "polar vortex" we experienced, my truck fired right up every time. It's gone from a truck that I worried about starting up to a truck I can count on day in and day out.Again, I could not recommend Empty Tank Garage enough! They even threw in some old diesel parts for me once they found out that I work at a school with a diesel technology club. Shawn and Jordan are both stand up, honest guys.Thank you ETG! You have another customer for life!

I really thought highly if this business untill they really played my business dirty. They did a HORRIBLE job on my truck, had my injectors replaced was told they was brand new come to find out they installed reman injectors Bostch brand. Didn't last me not even 6 months. They charged me over 6 Grand for a job that was not worth the amount. Due to their negligence pinching wires under my cab they cause my PTO and clutch to burn out and cost me an extra repair of 6,500 at River'.. These are not mechanics they are called Parts Replacers cause thats all they do. To change injectors out there is more to the job other than just taking out old ones and installing new ones and thats where they F up on. I will NEVER spend a dime with empty tank nor refer any of our customers to them again.if you need any diesel repairs or any auto repair I recommend HOOVERS and River's Hands Down ! I can keep going but I think this explains it pretty much !

I have used Empty Tank Garage for a water pump replacement and now they have put my transmission problems to rest. My transmission was previously rebuilt by another company but the quality was poor. Empty tank garage took care of me and did it right. Shawn and Jordan were straight to the point with the diagnosis and got me the best parts to use in my truck. They even went out of their way and took the time to save me some money with my aftermarket warranty. The service was great and I have been happy with the work that was performed. Good performance diesel mechanics are hard to find! Shawn and Jordan contributed greatly to the final stages of my 6.0l powerstroke build. I look forward to working with them on the finishing touches. Would highly recommend!!

These guys are incredible. Shortly after moving to the area I took them my beat up and barely running 20+ year old "project" suv because I had some OBD2 codes that I couldn't seem to clear no matter how hard I tried or how many parts I replaced. They had it for weeks troubleshooting it, bought special tools to figure out the problem, and somehow managed to solve my problems and got it to pass inspection. With all of that being said and done, they only charged me for the inspection, and no matter how much I insisted they charge me more, they would not, and said "it was a learning experience on their part".On top of that, their shop is the cleanest mechanic shop I've ever seen, and I have a lot of friends who do this for a living. The office area looks more like a dealership waiting room than somewhere actual work is being done. Even the garage area is clean and organized, which to me shows how much pride these guys take in what they do.Regardless of when I called if Jordan didn't answer the phone immediately, I ALWAYS got a call back within a day, and he gave me a very detailed explanation of what they had found and what the plan of action was for moving forward.I've lived all over the country and have encountered dozens of mechanic shops in my travels, and these guys are by far the most organized and professional I've encountered. Give them a shot, you will not be disappointed.

Cannot recommend Empty Tank Garage enough. Called them with a problem from another shop that in my opinion didn't finish the job. They told me to come right in. They stopped what they were doing to look at my truck and told me to pull in. They had me fixed up and out the door in 30 minutes (trimming my inner fenders after lifting my truck and I could barely turn). These guys genuinely care about their customer and you can tell they take pride in what they do. They also aren't out to screw anyone. They should get 100 STARS!!!!! I will be looking into getting my truck worked on at Empty Tank Garage in the futureService: Body & Trim

Had my 5.9 towed in for injector problems. They got to my truck very quickly and kept me informed along the way. They gave me multiple price options for multiple parts which was nice to have the power to choose exactly what I want for my truck. They informed me of other problems with my truck that they came across/noticed while dealing with/replacing my new injectors and we re happy to fix while my truck was already there. They ended up replacing all injectors with factory Bosch, OEM injection pump, intake manifold gasket, as well as upper and lower valve cover gaskets. Im writing this a couple months after the work has been done and everything is still working great since I got my truck back and I couldn t be happier with the work they ve done!

Had an aftermarket fuel pump since I bought the truck, all my fault. After two years, and a dead truck, ETG fixed it right. They are thorough, and fair. They're not cheap, but you get whet you pay for. They inform you every step and show you all the broken stuff replaced, and why they needed replaced. Highly recommend.

I ve been taking my 04 F350 to Empty Tank Garage for about a year now and it has been rewarding. I had been having issues with a reputable diesel mechanic shop specialized in Ford Powerstrokes . I spent good money for problems to be fixed but got little to no improvement. After some searching, I figured I d give Empty Tank Garage a try and scheduled an appointment. It was encouraging after they clearly identified the cause of the issues and the best approach to fixing them. They are definitely knowledgeable on diesels, especially in my experience Powerstroke. I was nervous asking the price but found they are less expensive than other shops I had priced for the same work. Since that initial positive experience I ve had my truck in three times. Each time they were great to deal with, quick to get me in if needed, and maintained a reasonable price. Good guys, good shop, good price.

I needed a timing belt and water pump change on my '06 Tundra as it was hitting high mileage and was due for the PM. Jordan went above and beyond, taking care of these issues as well as diagnosing/fixing other issues for me. There was constant communication and approval prior to doing additional work, plus he did not throw in any unnecessary repairs that some shops will tack onto the bill. All around 100% professional repair with responsive and helpful mechanics.

I had my 2005 Silverado recently serviced by Empty Tank Garage and I cannot say enough of how the crew there took care of me. Shawn and I spoke several times about my truck and the plans I had for reliability and long-term ownership. With some assistance from Jordan the shop's lead tech we figured out the needed upgrades to eliminate the weak points from the factory, and build a solid foundation to make additional safe power and increase the efficiency of the truck. They even went as far as taking some items off my original wish list that would not yield me any real bang for the buck, so I was able to put that money where it would really matter.Every step of the project I was kept informed of the progress on the truck. They never had a problem when I would just stop in or called to discuss some additional items I wanted done while they had my truck. Even when I decided to take the project a little further than originally planned, they worked with me without any hesitation. I was able to do this with the money I saved from our previous discussions.I am absolutely pleased with the result of the service I received. The truck runs better than it ever did in the past, sounds phenomenal and looks great with the custom run exhaust just below the drop hitch. When I picked-up the truck they even mentioned to me some other items they noticed that will need to be addressed in the near and not-so-near future and said they would be happy to work on them if I don't feel like tackling them myself, such as the HVAC blend doors and controls. They even took the time to clean and touch-up some of the support brackets while working on the truck.Shawn, Jordan and I have already spoke about the next steps I will be taking after running the truck for a while to break in the new transmission.Shawn is the kind of business owner you want to work with, his main goal is making certain the customer is getting what they want, with focus on quality and cost effectiveness.Jordan is great to work with as his knowledge of diesel and gas engines is vast, and spans across all the manufacturers (GM, Ford, Dodge). Jordan is also willing to take the time to troubleshoot issues and give suggestions to help resolve issues for someone just stopping by with a few questions about something not running correctly.

Forget the guys name , think he was the owner but he was great to deal with and was true to his word. Needed suspension work and was contemplating getting a suspension lift since it needed to be replaced anyway. After researching parts and estimating cost I came up with a number. The owner read my mind and suggested the lift since it was around 100-200$ extra to get the lifted suspension. The number he quoted was Almost exactly what I thought it would cost. I agreed and they got the work done fast since it was my daily driver. The end result looked great and the price was very reasonable. Will be returning for more work.I am. I had them install a Procharger in my 2021 Camaro SS, they seem to have done well and in a timely manner. Unfortunately They do not have a dyno and were unable to tune the car at the same shop, Also I bought and paid for new spark plugs that I later learned were not correct, and had to pay for another set once again. THESE GUYS ARE HIGH-SPEED, LOW-DRAG, ZERO-DEFECT, NUMBER ONE, DIESEL REPAIR BEASTS!! I was stranded in York, PA due to substandard repair on my 2004 Ford F250 from another shop in NC. I called the owner, Shawn, on a Friday - in less than an hour my truck was towed to his shop and by Tuesday of the next week I was wheels-rolling back to NC. The mechanic, Jordan, is a bona-fide genius under the hood, his technical knowledge is truly impressive, and took the time to explain all that was wrong - it was a lot, and how they made it right. They not only took care of my truck troubles, but detailed the gross errors and shoddy work by the previous mechanic in the invoice and provided me with documentary photographs. They went far and above my expectations and were consistently amiable and professional. I have absolute confidence in their integrity and skill. If I lived in York, PA the good folks at Empty Tank Diesel would be my shop of choice.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

If you own a diesel truck this is the place to go with no question. This shop had to fix a disaster caused from another shop. This shop took the time to diagnose what was causing a serve turbo leak after another shop installed them incorrectly while diagnosing they discovered several other issues that needed addressed do to poor workmanship. Empty tank really went the extra mile pulling my cab off (6.4) and then calling me to come in the shop for I could see first hand the issues. The mechanics explained everything to me in depth and what they recommended without pressuring. The truck had a substantial amount of work done fixing another shops mistakes. The truck was reassemble with attention to detail. Upon pick up the mechanic opened the hood showing and explaining everything they repaired/replaced. Without question a shop that stands behind their work & has integrity. 6,000 plus miles and running excellent. Thanks!!

To be honest I just meet Shawn and Jordan two weeks ago by reading these reviews and needed my 2013 Ram serviced. Everything you read in each review is true. Very professional, honest, affordable, and they guarantee their work. I will have no problems making the commute to have these guys service my truck. Cant recommend more!!!

Hands down the most hard working diesel shop I've ever been to. They do what it takes to get the job done and done right and give the customer 110%. They don't push for certain brand or manufacturer, just give insight and let the customer make the decisions on how they want their build. A great group of guys with the know how to pull any job together and give it their all. My truck will never see another shop guaranteed.

I just went through getting a fully built gen 2 cummins swap in my 2005 f350 and WOW is all I can say! What and incredible build by Shawn and his team at empty tank garage. My truck runs better then ever now. If you want custom work done these are the guys for the job. Clean work and great pricing. Thanks guys!

I had my 6.0 powerstroke worked on here. I couldn t be more pleased with the work. Shawn and his team took their time to fix my truck. They had their hands full fixing my old girl that was thrown together by another shop. They have won my business. For anyone that has a diesel truck this is the place where you want to go. Great prices and honest work is hard to come by these days. I want to give a big thanks to Empty Tank Garage!

Words really can't describe how excited I am with my 2000 ford 7.3 (S&B intake, ts 6 position chip, Garrett dual ball bearing Turbo, and 175 single shot Injectors). Thank you SO much Empty Tank for turning my truck into a crazy fast Beast!! Love It :) I would definitely recommend this great, and super clean shop. The staff is extremely smart and has lots of hands on knowledge with stock and aftermarket parts. The guys are also very good with working with you personally and making sure u get exactly what u want and get the most bang for the buck. Jenna

Shawn and Jordan really took care of my service and upgrades. I had my 2012 Ram 3500 Tuned, intake, exhaust, a new B&D Transmission, shocks , air bags,general services, blower motor. They even worked on my wife s 2011 Armada. Always busy working six days a week they made time in there scheduling for me and always went 110% to get it done fast. In a demanding work industry my vehicle is my livelihood. Thanks for such good service.
