We found out our vehicle's inspection expired last minute- we made an appt somewhere else but they couldn't see us until the following week. We stopped by Carmate on a whim, not wanting to drive on an expired sticker for a week, and Damon was able to get us in within 30 minutes. They were friendly and professional, the inspection didn't take long, and it was less expensive than we had been quoted at the other place. Got the issue resolved same-day. 5/5, thanks a lot! - Nathan & Mylaya

Took my son s car here for an inspection today. Damon was super friendly and his integrity shined bright. Damon wasn t out to gain an extra dollar, he had passion about doing good business and providing a reliable yet affordable service. He had great customer service! He was able to have it done in a very timely manner. I will be a customer for a long time coming. You don t find businesses like this anymore. He was wonderful to do business with. Very pleased, hats off to you Sir!!

Recently my car was fixed here. They went out of their way to diagnose what was going on with my car & didn't add any extra charges or try to rip me off.Wonderful business and couple who actually care about the customer. They are honest & trustworthy.Highly Recommended!

I've been having my vehicles inspected, serviced and repaired for about 5 years now at Carmate. Damon and team are honest, fair, reliable and knowledgeable. I've had nothing but good experiences. I would absolutely recommend them for inspections, maintenance and repair services. Thanks Damon!

Bought a van on a buy here pay here basis to add to my business in Allentown pa my wife picked up the van in york and drove to Allentown pa 80 miles when she reached Allentown the van broke down 1hr 30min after leaving the lot I had it towed on my own expense had a fuel pump installed my own expense the van was driven for about 2 weeks continuing to stall out til it finally wouldn't start again carmate picked up the van diagnosed the issues charged me almost 700 which they say is half of what it took to get the van correct and charged me for the time the van sat in the shop . Make your own decision but if I could do it again I would go somewhere different !

Do not go here! Rip off! Came here to get 2 issues fixed. Breaks squeeking and a loose weather strip. He just sprayed lube on my truck and charged me and didn't even address my other problem. I called back to explain to him that the problem is still going on and his best advice was if you don't like the work here you can go somewhere else.

I have been using carmate auto 7 years, as a business owner I have high expectations and I must say this is a great family owned business with excellent service & pricing exceeding all my preferences! I always recommend them for anything automotive related weather it s repairs or someone In need of a buy here pay here dealership. They service all my business fleet vehicles, personal vehicles, and even occasion work on a drag race car. All around great deal!

I was struggling to find a good mechanic that was honest and that I felt comfortable with, and I found carmate and I'm happy as heck now!!! They made me feel like family right away. They're honest, they do great work and they're good people. Great service, great people, affordable, and close to home. I highly recommend them!!!!!!!!

Horrible experience. They both are very dishonest individuals. Claim GPS was tampered with and they received notice my insurance canceled. Repo our vehicle and never return phone calls. Beware stat away from these people

Caution ! Very Very bad experience horrible customer service and no accountability ! Strictly about making money and do not care what they are putting out . The only good reviews have to be from friends and employees cause I have first hand experience and it's horrible .
