Paul was amazing! I needed brakes on my car. I took it to a garage that wanted to charge me way over 500$. Called Ankers Garage and they charged me way less and did amazing job. They checked to make sure I truly needed what the other place was saying. very straight forward from the very beginning, highly recommend going to this garage. I will return hands down.

I almost feel bad posting this but I will NEVER take another vehicle there again..twice now the experience has been just unacceptable!!I can't see how they're even in bussiness any more

Took my car here under the recommendation of the person I purchased the car from. My car was under warranty and instead of them finding out everything that was wrong even after I told them what another mechanic stated they fixed something that probably wasn't even broken. They had my car for almost 2 months and charged me $460 ON TOP of what the warranty pays even though the warranty company paid for the parts! I finally went to pick up the car and omw home I knew the problem wasn't fixed. The owner is a nice seeming guy but nice doesn't fix my car! I immediately went back only to be told they are sure I have transmission issues but they didn't know befofe because they didn't drive the car! Smh. I paid $460 for a car that wasn't even fixed? I want my money back, you will definitely hear from my attorney cause this is ridiculous! What type of mechanic just fixes a car without really knowing the problemService: General repairs & maintenance

Great guys! Twice now they have fit me in last minute! Paul and his team are super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! They take the time to explain everything you need and why. Never try to talk you in to something that you don't need. Honest, fast and fair prices! Highly recommend! I have finally found my "forever garage"!

Ankers has had my vehicle for a couple months now. I went initially to get my alternator fixed. It got fixed and worked for a couple weeks. Then it broke down again so I took it back and they replaced the alternator under warranty for the second time..weeks later same thing happened. I had also gotten a new battery installed...well I took it back for the third time and it's been there ever since. They do not pick up their phone or return calls. I would not reccomend using this garage. I'm still unsure where my car is and I'm starting to think this garage is using it for insurance fraud because the labor is covered under the parts warranty.

These guys were great! They are not going to have you fix things unnecessarily. Very reasonable and trustworthy something very rare when it comes to mechanics. This will be my go to shop moving forward.

I had put off having my inspection done until the last day. I started calling around, and everyone was booked solid. Paul was wonderful and managed to squeeze my car into their schedule. Very professional staff and they treat you right!

They're great! I like to work on my own car, but when I get stuck they fix it. No judgement. They don't mind it either when you bring your own parts. I'm a repeat customer and they've done well each time.

A great garage with a hometown feel. I was looking for reputable mechanic that worked on Saturdays due to my work schedule. I had found a number of duds and was burning gas driving back to Lancaster County to see my last mechanic for Saturday service. I happened upon Anker's Garage and even though they did not have reviews on google I figured I would give it a go. I could not be happier with my decision and my experience there. I took my car in for an inspection and for an A/C clog. I was half expecting a bill into the hundreds for some mechanic to go on a merry chase down my A/C drain line and ripping the car apart in the process. Instead I had probably the best experience at a mechanic ever, I got right in for an inspection, I was then offered a ride home and pick up when my car was completed so I did not have to wait. I don't know any place that does that anymore so I was very happy that, that is an option. I opted to wait it out and hoped it would not take long or be to expensive. My car inspection was completed in about an hour, even better it was only the price of the inspection which at $55 dollars prior to tax, I felt was very reasonable. The best part is the A/C drain problem was not charged onto the bill because they solved it so fast. Even better the mechanic showed me exactly where the problem was coming from and how to fix it in the future. I don't know any mechanic that will actively explain to you what is going on and how you can fix it yourself. That really sealed the deal for me. I will be coming back forever.Other notes about the place: Bays are clean and they have enough so they can handle a large influx of cars at once, all the mechanics are friendly, the front end staff is super informative and no one is pushy. The waiting room is a little small and the motif is a little dated but nothing to get excited about. The mechanics also don't push for things you don't need which is nice. They just let you know what needs to be fixed now, later, and what is actually not a problem at all. Overall I would say a refreshing experience with a mechanic.

If your car is having problems this is the place to take it! Honest Professional staff that will Get your vehicle back up and running in no time. Friendly Knowledgeable and honest staff will make you a repeat customer. I take all my vehicles here whether they need a oil change or a engine. If your unsatisfied with your current garage stop in and check these guys out!

I had my radiator repaired they kept my car for a week and charged me $20 for gas .. they said I didn t have enough fuel to drive the car which was a lie . Would not return b/c they don t appear honestService: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

Super service! Excellent quality of workmanship! Body work completed exceptionally well by Ankers Garage. After major left side damage by a collision with a deer, the entire car looks brand new. No trace of even a scratch.

I ve been going to this place for more years than I care to count!Paul has become a good friend. Couple years ago he fixed a vw beetle for me that no one else could including York VW an for a lot less money!Recently he worked on my Tahoe!! Lot less money than Apple Chevrolet!!!If u r into fancy then this isn t the place for you!!Old school repair shop ain t many of em around any more!!!Keep do n what you re do n Paul!!

Aggravated to say the least. They took my car right away for an inspection...then why did I have to wait 2 hours for the paperwork/stickers? After I complained about waiting 2 hours for an inspection, I get to my car to find out they left my lights on and my battery was dead. Not happy.

Place has lost their special touch........ went as return customer worst experience I've had in a while. I will say the owner is nice but I lost way too much time and money with this place. Avoid this place if possible

I called to make an appointment and a mechanic told me to call back because the person that makes the appointment wasn't there yet. I called three times left voicemails I never got a call back. Not a good way to do business.

Kept my vehicle for over a week with no communication. Slapped new brake pads on bad rotors. Now I need to pay someone else to replace both. I'll never go back.
