I visited this store this morning for the first time, thinking it would have a variety of batteries; I didn't realize that Willard is a brand of battery, and that's what the store carries. I thought that it was a battery store owned by somebody named Willard. Anyway, they were very busy when I arrived, but still greeted me just a moment after I walked into the store and immediately went to work replacing my old battery. I had looked at pricing online for the battery I needed from a couple of the franchise auto parts stores and expected to be out close to $300. My bill at Willard Battery Outlet was $137.80 installed, including sales tax. The battery has a 1 year replacement warranty and a 4 year prorated warranty. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and absolutely refused to accept a tip. (That was the only downside. Sometimes I tip people that haven't seemed to earn a tip - I make excuses for them, like maybe he or she is having a really awful day and isn't normally like this, etc. But I really wanted to tip these guys to show how much I appreciated their attitudes and quick service. I suppose, it being a battery store and all, there's gotta be a negative to go with the positive. Sorry.) Thanks, guys!

The guy who owns this battery outlet could ve really taken advantage of me, but instead he took his time, he explained what I needed popped a new battery in to check to see if that s what it needed. His price was unbelievable. Highly recommend his company.

Great experience. I called and asked if they had the battery I needed, and they said yes. I drove to Williamsport. There was no wait even though they were busy. Staff was friendly, helpful, and kind. There was a young man, 16 years old, helping out the man who was in charge, and he was amazing. He knew as much if not more than the gentleman who waited on us. It's been a long time since I have seen a young person who is as efficient and knowledgeable about a product as he is. He didn't have to be told what to do and was all business. He was extremely polite and courteous. I drove an hour to get there, and I will go back there again for another battery that I need. Can't say enough good things!!! Impressive!

These guys are helpful and know their batteries. And their prices blow everyone else's prices out of the water. Not to mention, they make the batteries. American made.

These guys know batteries, will offer you free valuable advice, check your existing battery and not suggest you buy another battery unless you really need one

Needed to get a battery for my daughter here several weeks ago. They're always polite and gracious. I was advised that my battery was reading low, but when it was checked here, I was told that I should come back in a few months because it still has a good charge. Very honest and pleasant service. Not a long waiting time.

My dealing with Willards over many years has been very positive. What I really appreciate is the fact that they won't try to sell you a new battery if you don't need it. Very honest people.

Excellent service . We were traveling in our RV and cabin batteries weren t holding a charge . Came off interstate and easily found the store. Explained our problem and within 30 minutes had problem diagnosed and new batteries installed . Thank you for all your help !

Called in for some pricing on batteries for a golf cart. Initial conversation was sub par and it didn t seem like the guy on the other end really wanted to help. He asked me to call him back in the morning and by then he d have status. I called him back the following day, even allowing more time than first thing in the morning and when he answered he asked me to call him back in 30 mins. At that point I told him I ll just call somewhere else, as being the customer I shouldn t have to call him and chase him down... you just lost a $800+ dollar sale, and I will never be back. I will direct everyone with an ear to go see the guys at Hurwitz. At least there s customer service there!

I thought i needed a new battery or alternator but they opened up the hood and found that it was just some loose screws, even gave me new ones for free and installed them. Great people great service.

If anyone is in need of battery service this is the place to go. They provided me with a loaner battery for the weekend at no cost while charging my car battery. The prices are best in the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing car battery service.
