I had a flat tire in Williamsport at 5:30 and they were closed! Tim at Kost tire center opened the door and helped me after hours! God bless there are still people out there that care. I am truly grateful to Tim and kost tire to help a person in need after hours.

I needed an inspection, so I called and made an appointment. Scott and Tim were both very friendly and helpful when I talked to them on the phone.However, things went wrong when I actually got to my appointment. I was told they could not get my hood open to complete the inspection, due to an employee pulling my hood release lever entirely off the car. They said this would have happened no matter who pulled the lever, but I have opened my hood several times recently without any issues. I was also told that my horn didn t work, it does. I checked immediately when I left.I came here off of a recommendation, but I will not be returning. They did not make me pay for the inspection since they could not complete it, that was the only win. It still costs me money because I missed work just to have my car damaged.

Scott and Tim at Kost in Williamsport continue to take care of all of our vehicle needs. They earned our business years ago. Always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond when needed. I appreciate knowing that I can trust them with our vehicles and that we will have safe travels!

They carry special deals all the time. Keep checking online and feel free to call in to check. And if you buy tires from them they give you discounts on car service in the future, like oil change and such. They are located all over central PA and upstate NY so if you have an issue while traveling they can help you out. They also give you diagnosis of what service is recommended based on the mileage and age of the vehicle.

Thank you to Tim and the staff at Kost for a wonderful experience. Tim completed an overdue inspection for my mom's car immediately. He then went the extra mile and drove the car to her apartment when it was completed. Tim, we cannot thank you enough for your service and care. We will be back! You are awesome!

I've been going there for over 10 years and there's no one else I would trust. Friendly, courteous, willing to work with you no matter the situation. I respect their diagnosis and have always been happy with their work.

I hate to leave a review like this. I've been searching for a reliable, trustworthy, place to take my car locally. This isn't it and I would advise everybody to stay away. Here are two reasons:1. I took my car in to have the AC fixed. Long story short: It was never hooked up so they re-installed it, fluids etc. But there was a mention of a possible "leak", which confused me. I took it to another garage who informed me that they used the wrong part (a bolt/screw?) and it was causing the fluid to leak. Instead of getting me in RIGHT AWAY to fix their mistake I was put off for nearly another week. I have a strong feeling that if I followed up with them, they would have convinced me the leak wasn't their fault and charged me for the re-repair.2. Their estimates are always crazy high. I'm talking a 3,000$ repair vs. 150$ from another garage for an exhaust issue. Recently - $1,800 for a cad repair vs. $800 at my other garage.I never followed up with them because I always get the run around. So I'll take my $200 loss on the AC and go elsewhere. I'd advise you do the same.

Out of town for work in Williamsport area. Got two flats in less than a week. Kost got my tires ordered and in and out same day. Friendly staff, very helpful. See Scott.

These guys are con men, I won a $50.00 gift card on the radio. Tried to use it for an oil change I find out at the counter they have to use synthetic blend or full synthetic in the vehicle. Ok, Synthetic blend for 55.00, the whole premise seems a little sketchy but I can deal with that. Then...somehow the final price for this $55.00 oil change is over $75.00! I ve had previous similar issues with this location and the location in Lewisburg and would have never even considered using them if it were for the gift card.

Great experience! Great prices!under unfortunate circumstances was lucky to end up at this location, my car stalled on the freeway and had alternator problems and Kost really was exceptional !! But most importantly the customer service was amazing! From the gentleman who helped me on the phone to the gentlemen who worked on my vehicle and showed me every step that he was doing in order to fix my car! I m not from the area but I will literally come out of my way just to have them work on my vehicle! Highly recommend!

These guys are always pretty good, my auto bill was a bit more than I wanted or expected to pay... But they did a great job... Will be going back for future repairs of needed!Edit: still a great experience everytime I go!!

I used to get great service from Kost, but in the last few years I've been unimpressed. Made an appointment to have winter tires swapped on, and had the car there the night before. Arrived after work and it's still not done. Not the kind of service you would expect especially because I made an appointment on a day that they suggested and had the car there already. Don't waste your time.

Excellent customer service. Affordable pricing. I had a flat tire, put the spare on myself and was only about ten minutes from the shop. From the time I called to get an appointment to the time I was driving away with my patched tire put on, was less than an hour. No complaints.

Was disappointed. I asked to have my car done by 1 and told that was fine. When I arrived the car had not even been looked at so I had to take it without the service being attempted. I stopped back a week later to schedule another appointment and they could not help me. I was told they had no openings for a week and I don't know my work schedule any further out than that. I bought my tires there and wanted the free rotation and am having an issue with one tire losing pressure. I guess it's time to shop elsewhere

Went in with a flat tire and asked for air. They told me the tire wouldn't hold air and couldn't be repaired because the side wall had a crack (2 yr old tires) so I needed a new tire. Told them since the car is older and I don't drive that much anyway, I want the cheapest tire they have and they said only 1 size fits it and installed was $128. I remarked that I had no idea tires had gotten so expensive and the guy told me $128 for 1 tire was cheap.A couple of days later I mentioned the experience to a friend who went on their website and was quoted $57.95 installed for 1 tire for my car. Since I am a disabled senior woman who was alone and had a flat tire so I was obviously in a bind--and made the mistake of the remark I made so they knew I was not informed, they most definitely took advantage.Had I been thinking I would have told them to put the spare on for me and I would find a less expensive tire somewhere else. Chances are they would have miraculously found the $57.95 then!) Although now it makes me wonder if all I needed was air in the first place! They never offered to show me the damage on my old tire and I didn't think to ask to see it.Will never, ever darken the door of a Kost store again and will relay my story to anybody who will listen to discourage others from being scammed!

First time they were 30-45 mins past my pickup time. Gave them 2nd chance yesterday and late again but also didn t top off my fluids. When I came back and asked them about it they just told someone to do it. No apologies, no explanation, and guy behind the counter stayed on the phone most of the time. Won t go back.

I have to say this Kost is one of the best there is. I had a flat tire in June and Sam's Club where I bought the tires said it would be 5 to 6 hours before they can get it in. I stopped at this Kost and they took care of me at no cost! Great job Kost, its service men and managers! Thank you

I went for tires, they were a decent price. However immediately I was told my brakes, rotors, air filter, cabin filter, & hvac system needed replaced and flushed. Costing well over another $400. Took car to my mechanic for yearly inspection and none of that was true at all!!! All they want is $$$$ and they assume you have no idea what they re talking about so you go along with it!!

Great place to get the car inspected. I totally trust these guys. My mother took her car here for years too. Look for coupons in the weekly shopper. Best of all, these guys are reasonable!

Had my oil changed and tires rotated, long story short, I had marked a rear tire with chalk and when it was done I noticed tires weren't rotated so I asked if they were the guy checked with the tech and said he did it. I then showed him my mark on the tire and he said he must have missed one, how do you miss one? They took it back in and rotated the tires with no explanation or apology. Now the day before I had my other car done with the same marking but forgot to check it till today and they weren't rotated either. Needless to say that was my last visit there and I will be contacting their H Q

Got 2 brand new front tires charged 195$ a tire friday the next day one tire blew after garage hours now haft to wait until monday no other cause for it to blow nothing in the road no pot holes!!!! Blew out on the side of the tire most likely won't be fixed or replaced for free scammed me out of a warranty based off a alignment needing done i'll see tomorrow but other than that service really is not good the old man at the desk is very rude ...

Used to go here all the time. So I ordered a set of tires @$245 a tire. Had a $75 rebate. Took a month to come in, follow up was terrible I had to call every couple of days to find out when my new tires would be in each time being told they would call me and never a call back. I finally get the tires put on, ask about the rebate they tell me that expired on that Friday before but instead gave me a credit on my account...ok sure. Hit a pot hole 2 months later blew one tire and damaged another. Under the 90 day road hazard both SHOULD have been covered. I was out of town and no Kost had my tires in stock so I had to pay for one tire at a Jack Williams and use my spare on the other. Ordered my other tire from Kost on Friday, was told it would be in on Monday-Tuesday. No call from them so I stop by with my tire Tuesday so they could put the tire on the rim when it gets in. Doesn t come in Tuesday. Was delivered to the wrong shop. The manager tells me first thing they will get it taken care of and will see what he can do about getting the other tire covered since Kost didn t have it in stock. Arrive Wednesday to get my tire put on after I had to follow up, tell me nope nothing they will do about the other tire and try and charge me $75 to put my replacement tire on. Needless to say there have been phone calls and emails with no response from Kost. They lost a 3 year customer and I WILL NEVER refer them to anyone.

Brought my car in because it was making an unusual whirring (rubbing) sound and smelled like burning rubber. I told them I don't know, it could be a belt. I indicated clearly that I wanted the smell and sound addressed. They called and said serpentine belt and assembly. I paid $309.22. started my car up and SAME SMELL AND NOISE. After being ignored, going around the block and returning, I interrupted them and said please smell my car. They kept it for diagnostics and said a loose alternator bearring. Kthanks took it elsewhere AND found out I needed a new water pump. They wanted to first rip me off, then nickel and dime me and kept restarting the labor clock. No way!!!!
