A great place to get your car battery serviced. The price was good and the service was excellent. In and out in about 10 minutes! They also carry a large selection of cleaning supplies and other car parts like wipers, lights, spark plugs, etc. Fast and friendly service, highly recommended for all your battery needs!

My car died unexpectedly . I have been visiting family this week and need to leave for home tomorrow. Bangor, Maine, 12 hours away. I needed help and these folks stepped up. Tested and installed a new battery in less than half an hour. Very courteous, friendly and professional service! Fair price as well! Thank you for bailing me out! Highly recommend these folks!

I called Hurwitz as I was waiting for AAA to jump my dead car battery. They had the battery I needed and agreed to install it as soon as the car was running. The price was right, and the service was better. I highly recommend them!

Had some headlight flickering going on that morning and took my car to Hurwitz to get checked out. They tested the system for free and found the problem to be the alternator. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need and directed me on what needed to be done to fix the problem even though their business didn't make a dime. Will definitely go back and also recommend them to family and friends.

These people are great. My battery died at the Devine Hospital and they brought a new battery to me within 15 minutes. Great service.

Terrible customer service! Sold me a defective battery, then denied it being defective upon return. Within the first 24 hours the battery froze, and she assured me this is a very common occurrence. I don t know about you but I ve never even heard of a brand new, let alone old battery freezing. Upon returning I was only given a loaner battery while they recharged the defective one after asking for one. I was then charged for using their loaner while they recharged and repaired my frozen battery which was defective to begin with. After years of loyalty to this local business, I will be going elsewhere for my battery needs in the future.

Family owned business gets you the best service possible on a really great Deka battery. Accept no alternatives. These guys take great care of you.

These guys have been taking g car of my vehicle battery needs for 20+years. Very knowledgeable, and honest. Won't try to sell you a battery you don't need. Reliable service.

hurwitz batteries is the most wonderful place. They have so much more to offer than batteries. They got me wiper blades and they have a million flashlights. But I know if I need batteries that's where I always go. And I'm not being paid to say this:)

Always have the battery I need, and are very knowledgeable about vehicles and what you need, along with other goodies, chargers, testers etc. They sell Deka batteries which seem to hold up the best

Great place to get batteries for your vehicles very fast service very knowledgeable - Donnie won't let you leave disappointed, nice little family run business, show room with other accessories for your vehicle if needed & clean rest room if needed while you wait
