Gary is a great guy. They do full rebuilds of transmissions and even helped me out when I was doing a DIY job. Very knowledgeable and know what they are talking about. I would recommend them if you need any transmission work done.

Honest, fast, solid work. Good guys... Gary the owner and Larry. Have done 3 or 4 transmissions for me, ran great , will always go back when I need that service..... I see a really negative review below, wow, after about 6 years of knowing this shop, that review is so very wrong about this business. They always answer except for lunch hour, and thats their right.. Dont hesitate to call for transmission needs. They are really good at what they do....

I dropped my vehicle off to be diagnosed and serviced on a Thursday morning, don't hear anything all day Thursday into Friday afternoon. I call over and over and finally get someone to answer after maybe the 4th or 4th time calling. The gentleman I spoke to said he doesn't make any decisions and to call back. I asked him to take my name and number down to have someone who does call me back. I received no call.Saturday morning I have been without my vehicle now for 3 days and call in wondering if I am gonna get an answer and miraculously do. It is the owner/operator. I ask the status of my vehicle and he sounds annoyed and is really short. He said he didn't know whether or not I wanted to get my vehicle fixed or what. With an attitude saying he's been busy with other projects. Ok, I get it shop's get busy I understand this. But then his whole demeanor changes when I bring up how long it's been there and the stresses that is causing for me. I'm not one to write these types of reviews for nothing. This man is a genuine megalomaniac and gives zero bothers about anyone but himself.Avoid. Like. The. Plague.3 things.1) Communication.If the shop would have communicated to me what was going on, I would more than likely have another type of review to post2) Punctuality3 days holding onto a vehicle with not so much as a call or text or email or anything?3) AttitudeNot once did I get rude or raise my voice and this person began belittleing my position and down playing the situation.If only these 3 things were taken care of I may have had a whole different experience. But no. If you like being without your vehicle for 3 days not knowing what's going on please by all means. Brumbaughs is for you.Update. Calls previous customers childish After finding review 4 years later. Could not suggest to avoid enough. 34 years of business should give you enough sense to treat people like people. Good luck out there.

The best guy in pa to do business with excellent customer service they got my truck in and out same day you won't find a shop that will treat you better and they know what their doing
