Took my car to Gilboy in January as my car stopped functioning. We discovered it was the battery manage and the wire harness on the battery itself. I spent a lot of money for this job to be completed to come to find out they did a half completed job repairing it. My kid could have did a better taping job. I get my car back and my wipers do not work. It seems that the technician did NOT bother to check to make sure it was complete and accurate. As he would have known that the front wipers and motor are on the same network as the battery manage. I had to take my car to another shop and spend more money to check it out to realize that Gilboy did not to do the repair correctly. They had the wires wrong. Now after spending unnecessary money my wipers do not work properly so another repair that needs to be done as they should of known they didn t work.

On arrival and getting out of our car Cupid was the first one to come out and greet us. He was very polite outgoing and the longer we were there more open he became. He helped us find a very nice vehicle for my mom and he was not pushy at all. Maria also was very nice and helpful with all the loan stuff and prices her and Cupid made it a priority to make sure everything went how we wanted it. Thank you Cupid and Maria!!!!!

Every time I went to Gilboy, I was never hounded by sales reps. The atmosphere is very laid back, and everyone will help you with what you NEED. This is not always the case for the dealers down the street (if you re from the Allentown Area, you will know what I mean). Most dealers are very predatory; they will drive away your vehicle to inspect it at the mention of a trade-in. Not Gilboy! I ve had the pleasure of working with Scott Ganoung (Sales Manager), Rick Spencer (Sales Consultant), Maria Moran(Finance Manager), and Pete Tombrakos (Sales Associate; retired as of 2/3/2024). If you re looking to order a new vehicle, Rick and Scott are your guys! Looking for financing? Maria will be happy to help. I plan on keeping my new Bronco for a LONG time, but you better believe I m heading back to Gilboy for my next one.

I went in looking to trade in my car which had higher mileage so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was able to get in a 2021 hrv in great condition and I absolutely love it! Thanks to Cupid for helping me get into a new car with such ease and it didn't take long at all. Also thanks to Maria in the financial department for helping me get a great warranty that fit my driving needs. I couldn't of asked for a better experience with getting a new car. Would absolutely recommend going to Gilboy for your next car!

We drove to Gilboy because they had an Explorer I was interested in. After inquiring about the car over the phone, they had it ready to look at when I got there. The service was excellent from the salesperson Rick, to the manager Scott and even the owner JT. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was able to leave with my car that day! I was given a fair price for my trade in and never felt pressured into anything. Everything was explained to me and completed efficiently. I live out of state and they even helped get all the paperwork submitted for NJ. I would absolutely take the drive to buy from Gilboy again!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this dealership. From the owner (JT) to the staff!I have picked up multiple vehicles from here as my company demo, the relationship stays consistent through all departments. I purposely place them on my route for conversation, giggles, and service.Recently on Thursday, March 2nd I drove 2 hours and 45 minutes for a good experience. I got just that and more. While their I got my vehicle detailed by a sweet, kind, yet very humble young man named Alex who took care of the detail. I was a little early for my appointment and he was ready for my vehicle. I walked out to what felt like a new vehicle !!I have a black vehicle and it's hard to keep clean especially during winter! Alex found my charger block and placed all my extra items under the seat in one of the backseats. I greatly appreciate his attention to detail, no water spots, and the smile. Thank you Gilboy and Alex!Highly recommend all services at Gilboy!

Since our original purchase of our 2022 Escape Hybrid we have serviced our vehicle @ Gilboy Ford. Their service department has been nothing but accommodating and kept us informed on every facet of the service. We are still extremely impressed with the hybrid performance of the vehicle and the courteous, respectful way the service department treated us.Previous postIt is a jungle out there, no inventory and much guess work. We were able to test drive an Escape Hybrid on a whim at another dealer. We were impressed, however wanted a different color and higher trim level than the one we drove. Aside from that the dealer we visited was charging an unreasonable market value price in addition to the MSRP. They also low balled my trade so I decided to visit Gilboy and other dealers. I was paired up with Wendell @ Gilboy and he worked with me to identify the trim and colors we wanted and then he secured a price without any market adjustment added to the sale. A generous offer was made on my trade and to my surprise and pleasure Mr. Gilboy got involved with addition adjustments to sweeten the deal. I placed the order in late October and took receipt of my vehicle in January. The day we took delivery on that new car smell we were also informed that we qualified for additional savings that were not available the day we ordered our new vehicle. The ball and chain loves her new hybrid Escape and as far as I m concerned Mr. Gilboy and his team shined above, in this environment, the other dealers we visited in the area. Thank youJust an update on my purchase of the Ford Escape Hybrid we took delivery on in January, I just passed three gas stations less than a hour ago all showing $4.68 a gallon, I assume we will be hitting $5 soon. Anyway the pain has not been as bad as it would have been filling up the 4 X 4 pickup I traded in for this purchase. I'm happy to report I have achieved as much as 55 MPG in the city on some trips and I have included a photo of my recent not so conservatively driven highway trip. Given the current situation and the car buying experience today the sales staff and especially Mr Gilboy delivered the perfect car in my wife s eye, and the fuel economy that really helps in these days. Not all Ford dealers were as accommodating as Gilboy Ford. Now I want to get my hands on a Ford Maverick Hybrid given the success I have had with the Escape.

Friendly service! My car was picked up and brought in for service and they returned it back to my job before i clocked out to go home. They noticed I needed an inspection and squeezed that into my time there and kept me informed along the way. Clean and efficient and I will definitely be back

Shout out to Cupid and Maria for making a long distance purchase a breeze! My wife and I drove over 5 hours from deep in Virginia to purchase our new to us 2008 Super Duty. The vehicle condition was exactly how it was portrayed to us through many pictures and conversations with Jane prior to arrival. Great group of people to deal with at Gilboy Ford!

The Gilboy service department staff members always try their utmost to make your appointment as "painless" as possible. The service advisor Tim was very responsive to my concerns about difficulties with my vehicle and took care of all issues without delay. When I realized I had the wrong insurance card, the receptionist Lori helped me to quickly reach my insurance carrier and have them email the necessary policy information directly to the dealership. Within minutes, I received a loaner vehicle and was on my way! Three cars later, I am still an enthusiastic customer of Gilboy's!

I came to Gilboy with my family to test drive an Explorer believing that I would just buy online elsewhere to avoid the back and forth I ve dealt with in past dealer experiences. Then we met Rick. He was helpful and not pushy. He looked for the color vehicle I wanted and ultimately helped me order my new vehicle. I got a good price for my trade. Great buying experience. No gimmicks or hassle from the sales staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Rick, Scott and Bill were excellent to work with.

I had the BEST experience thanks to Cupid!I went in nervous cause I was a girl going to a car dealership by myself. Cupid made the experience fun and always kept it real. He wanted me to leave with the best deal I could get. I left with the car I went there for.I also need to thank Maria, financial manager, for coming in on her day off to make sure I was able to bring my car home when I needed to and for working her magic to help me get my loan.I would 100% recommend Gilboy to all my friends and family!

I had my 2022 Escape at Gilboy Ford for an inspection, oil change, a recall, and for accessories to be added that I purchased. I was more than happy with my experience there. They took my car in a timely manner (even though I was late) and were thorough when going over why I was there and provided me with a ride home and a ride back to pick up my vehicle.When asked how they could improve at Gilboy I can t think of anything. To me they are the best and I would and do highly recommend them !And I forgot to mention that I LOVE my escape!! Thank you!

I do not like leaving bad reviews but my one star is strictly on the service department.To keep this short, I went in for a couple recalls on my truck which required them to take the headliner down. Got it back with grease marks over my interior and the headliner not on correctly in the back of the truck (it can be pushed up and down). Completely unacceptable.It was my first experience with the service department at Gilboy Ford and I will not be going back. I wish others the best of luck but this kind of carelessness shows the quality of work ethic put forth.

Was shopping for a Bronco. Went to another Ford dealer which was Bethlehem Ford not a good experience or feeling. I found a great deal online at Gilboy, was a beautiful and everything I wanted in a Bronco. The salesman was great and friendly. The manager and staff were not pushy, and up front. They worked to get me my Bronco and gave me a great deal. The experience was a pleasure and not stressful except for me being inpatient and wanting to get my Bronco ASAP lol. I love my Bronco and will be going back to Gilboy for another Ford.

I recently had a very low pressure experience in buying my new Ford maverick. Gillboy Ford in Whitehall. Pennsylvania was a very low pressure experience for me. That s often my salesman Pete and the new car manager, Scott . I totally understand all the restraints that are put on purchasing a new vehicle these days. Even though I waited several months it was worth the wait for my hybrid XLT Maverick. Thank you, Pete and Scott along with kudos to John Gilboy the owner, who personally reached out to me when my vehicle was originally ordered.

Bought a truck with all the bells and whistles with a Full warranty ( the best warranty offered, they called it premium)in 2020. Had a folding Tonneau bed cover installed at the time I purchased the vehicle as well. The cover is a Ford licensed accessory.Fast forward 3 years, the cover is literally falling apart. And no one at Gilboy wants to help me. I was literally told it was a big hassle to research this Absolutely no customer service . It was obvious no one wanted to help me. The man who I was directed to , never even cared enough to ask my name or to look up my information in the computer that he was sitting in front of.Extremely poor, no I take that back, there wasn t ANY customer service at Gilboy.

The team here is AMAZING. It's been a horribly tough past few months with constant set backs and bad news around every corner it seemed, so when my mother and I walked into this place ima be honest, I anticipated the worst and expected some hassling.My mom and I walked out with a car (we so desperately needed) and the team worked diligently to get us something with in our budget. Maria and Ray were phenomenal and so communicative and forthright. I had my rowdy (but sweet) 4 yr old daughter and the team talked with, laughed with and spoiled my daughter with her favorite thing (coloring books). I needed this but more importantly my mom needed this and this team really fought to get us in something reliable as if we were their own family and that meant the world to me. I would give infinite stars if I could. Ty to the team and everyone behind them that helped make this possible for us.

My appointment was scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. The service tech kept in contact with me about the car s issues and how much it would cost. And an important service to me is the shuttle service so I don t have to wait in the waiting room. It was an all around great experience.

Took truck in on time, I am happy with their courtesy shuttle for both the ride home and pick up to retrieve the truck. They let me know up front that it would be 2 - 3 days until review, parts order and repair. Was happy to get back at lower end of eta.

This is the best dealership!!!! Old school customer service and proud to service the customer with quality service.Nothing really stands out at the dealership that needs improvement. Overall just a top notch dealership and customer service. What more could you ask for?The purchase process with with the sales team was excellent. My salesman Bill is the absolute best at what he does!!!! Bill is dedicated and super knowledgeable!Since my vehicle purchase I've returned for accessories and the installation of those items. The parts and service departments are the best also with quality service and keeping you informed. The whole experience was 5 Star!!! Scott and his team were awesome. We were greeted by Cupid who was AMAZING and Maria was INCREDIBLE with the finance side. We ve purchased many cars over the years and this was BY FAR the best experience we ve ever had from start to finish and it was well worth the drive to the dealership. The salesman, Calvin, and the young lady, Maria, that handled the financial portion and paperwork, were absolutely awesome!! I purchased a 2017 certified pre-owned Escape. The Saturday I bought it, it was very bright and sunny. I didn't notice there was some sort of film on the paint. I took the vehicle back over and the detailers cleaned it off right away and also touched up a small chip in the paint. Excellent customer service all around!!!! Thank you!
