This isn't my car that I am talking about but it is my son's that I paid over $2,000 for a stage 1 rebuilt. It lasted roughly 4 months before it took out four gear. They were telling my son it was because he had a stage 2 vengeance clutch in a stage 1 rebuild. I personally have the stage 2 vengeance clutch on a stock mt82 with a Whipple Supercharger and have no issues. I see many people complaining about losing 4th gear in these transmissions. I also have a buddy with a stage 3 on a factory mt82. I really don't know what to think about it. All I know is his car is sitting in the driveway with a broken caliber transmission in it. He was told that he would have to pay again to get it rebuilt but they would help with the shipping.

I highly recommend Calimer's Transmissions! My Calimer mt82 is holding 1000 HP NO PROBLEM! This Transmission loves abuse! Calimer's Transmissions saves you tons of money compared to the competitors.. Great customer service and VERY fast shipping! I competitively drag race consistently and would NEVER consider any other transmissions, along side many of my stick shift friends! I'm stoked to have found such a great establishment! Customer service is professional, friendly & very informative. When I call, I reach an actual person. I was super surprised with how quickly I received my new transmission and also ordered my clutch through them. This company has a great group of guys that seem to work like a well built machine... just like the built mt82. It shifts beautiful... almost does it itself & it does it flawlessly!! The transmission holds up & thrives through racing multiple classes with ease!! The more you beat on it the brighter it shines!As I said in the beginning, I'm just stoked!!Thank you Ben and the team!

Bought a stage 2 only have 2000 miles and the synro already bad and not really beat on it hard . So not sure I would buy again. The stock trans held up better believe it or not.

I Do Not recommend this place to anyone! All they care about is the money. I should have listened to all the bad reviews, that s my fault. I m leaving this comment for the next guy that needs parts asap or even within 3 weeks. They can t deliver they will Lie and tell you they can to get your money then when you ask for a refund since they can t keep there word, they will tell you sorry nothing they can do. Order straight from the manufacturer or a place that you have used before and know they can come through. I m sure most people had good experience with Calimers but not me. They knew i was in a tight spot and needed my clutch asap and when contacted told me they forgot to cancel the order 3 times on different days. They offered a refund if the clutch hasn t been shipped yet. I ordered 2/3/23 and it s 2/23/23 and they still haven t shipped out the clutch. So I asked for a refund like they said and they said nothing they can do. Don t lie to people to get sales be a honest business!Service: Transmission

I bought a transmission for my 2012 mustang in September of 2022 and it is broken already. I've only driven the car about 5 or 6 times since I got the new transmission. I talked to Calimers and they told me the clutch was too strong but it's the clutch they recommended me to buy from them. I talked to 2 different mechanics and they told me that the clutch has nothing to with the transmission blowing. I would not recommend this transmission shop to anybody. Buyers Be Aware!

I needed a new clutch for my 2008 Mustang Shelby Cobra GT500 and I needed it fast. Since it wasn't in stock, Alan (sp?) had it shipped directly to me from the manufacturer, Lethal Performance, which happens to be not far from where I live so I received it the next day with regular ground FedEx shipping. Never use this place. Any respectable mustang driver should care about their vehicle and wallet and avoid this place. They literally sold a brand new transmission that was blown before it started .Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I've been running a calimer stage 3 mt82 since back in the day when the owner Ben was building them in a small garage. It's been probably 7 or 8 years and it's still as solid as ever. Great product.
