Extremely professional staff. Very familiar with European makes. They took great care of my Audi, as we were not confident in work done by another local shop, and we are bringing both our Mercedes and Toyota for work there next. Very happy with our experience there so far. Pricing was reasonable and I felt appropriate for the quality of workmanship you re getting

I find that there rates are reasonable. My cars are serviced correctly and on time. The review of what has been done and a heads up if anything maybe needed during the next 6 to 12 months.I have been using them for 17 years when I first moved to Wayne. Steve

Best team in town. I use them for everything, from oil changes to major repairs. I know I'm going to get an honest, accurate assessment every time. I've used them for 20 years and won't go anywhere else. It's nice to know I can drop off and my car is in the best hands and I'm not going to get an inflated estimate filled with things that don't need to be done.

I have been taking my Mercedes here for many years. They offer far more value over the dealerships. Service work exceeds the dealerships and the costs are less. They are very thorough and knowledgeable. And I have never had to return for a repeat problem.

I chose Garttmeyer after doing a lot of research for a quality Benz shop in the Philly area and they did not disappoint. Went in for a check engine light and had them preform routine service as well. Bob went out of his way to keep me informed of repairs and cost in real time. Very professional and highly recommend this shop, will be coming back.

Brought my newly acquired older BMW for maintenance items. Very easy to schedule, and communication and follow up were excellent. They were knowledgeable about the car's specific maintenance needs They did not oversell, and provided useful and prioritized suggestions for future work to be done. Pricing was very competitive, and both Chris and Bob were very professional.

I took my 1994 Mercedes S320 in shortly after purchasing it in 2020. Bob and team looked over the entire car and provided a detailed list of items worth repairing. The list was long, which was assumed on a 28 year old mercedes. They were thorough with explaining items that took priority over others and at no point tried to sell me on items not critical. They understood that this car is intended to be a weekend driver and only will see limited miles. 1.5 years later, the car runs and drives impeccably. Their quote was a few thousand less than Mercedes of Devon and Bob & team kept me well informed while my car was in their hands. I even pulled into Devon MB after picking the car up from Garttmeyer just to look at a new pre-owned daily driver...they remembered my w140 and asked if I was dropping the car off for service..I smirked and said I took care of it and left;) Thanks guys!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I've been taking my 2006 BMW M3 to Garttmeyer since I bought it last year. I had taken it to a dealership for an assessment after I purchased it and they gave me an extremely high price estimate for all the items they found. Nothing major, but many maintenance items as you can imagine for a 14 year old vehicle. I then took the car to Garttmeyer's and asked them to preform a similar assessment. Overall, they came up with essentially the same list. However, Chris and Bob took another approach which was to start working on the more important items first and then winnow down the list over time. Their motto seems to be, "Let's do only what you need with high quality OEM parts at a fair price"... Garttmeyer's prices are considerably less than what I was quoted at the dealership. They are a homespun team who seem genuinely interested in my business and in my car. And, the best part is that they perform high quality work at a fair price. Thanks Chris and Bob!

Went to Garttmeyer because I trusted them assuming they are a quality repair facility for my Jaguar. They were pricey, but I assumed it was the best there is. Had them replace front wheel bearings and they were kind enough to install front brakes I had as well. They charged me for OEM wheel bearings, and claimed they were OEM when I kept asking them due to problems I was experiencing after install. They claimed the play in the bearings to be normal as there was supposed to be play to the point where I could physically move the wheel up and down by hand (not in the direction of steering). I told them something was wrong, and even had a Jaguar technician from the dealer look at it. When I told Garttmeyer the dealer said something was not right, they claimed the dealer technician as inexperienced and continued to say that this play in the parts was normal, even though no other vehicle in my life had this play, claiming that another jaguar car is different, and this specific car was supposed to have play. After continually asking them if the parts were OEM, they then admitted they used an aftermarket brand of bearings, Timken, which is nearly one-third the cost of the OEM parts after looking them up, even though they charged me for OEM parts. After going back several times, they only replaced one of their bearings free of cost even though both sides had problems. I had to get the other side replaced by the dealer, so I had to pay twice for the same repair. Once the dealer repaired the other side, all my problems went away. Garttmeyer also started to claim my suspension might be weak causing the play even though they previously stated my car was in great shape suspension-wise. Save your money and go to the dealer, because this took weeks to deal with. They were very nice at first but were not so nice after I kindly requested the repairs be done properly. Very frustrated with the amount of time, energy, and money I have spent for a very simple repair.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They are great even working on American-made machines! Took my Fusion in for new anti-roll bars front and rear. They also installed a new Steed blower for the turbo! Expertly installed for a very reasonable price! Good job Chris!

I drove up from North Carolina for a wedding in town, and the check engine light came on. Could I safely drive that weekend? Could I drive home? With my family travel plans in the balance, Bob and his team quickly got me the peace of mind I needed. If I lived in Wayne, I'd make this my regular garage. I'm not sure when I'll next be in town with car trouble, but if so, I'll know where to go!

They are overpriced and try to up-sell every time.1. charged $200 to mount snow tires (which I supplied). This should be about $25 per tire.2. "our machine recommends a new battery". Old one lasted 2 more years. Then I replaced it myself. Next visit with a brand new battery - "our machine recommends a new battery".3. My car was towed there, but repairs were done by warranty at the dealer. They charged me $150 for oil-dry and to tell me what they thought the repair cost would be.Three strikes - you're out.

Great experience, my car was due for state inspection and emissions, quick and easy, suggested I also replace my brakes and decided it was for the best. Everything was done quickly and efficiently and communicated to me so that there were no "surprises". I will not be taking my car anywhere else from now on.

I am long-time customer who has taken foreign cars, SUVs, crossovers to Garttmeyer. They've always gotten it right the first time. Although I try to execute maintenance management to keep our vehicles ahead of problems, they respond fast when the inevitable "oh, darn" thing happens like two blown tires, the cratering of a battery, etc.Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Easily the best shop I have ever been to! Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable and won't try to suck you dry. Trust is really a huge deal with a mechanic and they have my trust!
