My experience with Classic Coachworks for my vehicle repair was absolutely dreadful. After my 2018 Audi A5 Sportback suffered minor dents due to a sign falling on the hood of the vehicle at a department store, I sought their services. I shared pictures and received a preliminary estimate of approximately $2800, which was consistent with other repair centers. However, my visit to Classic Coachworks to confirm the estimate turned into a nightmare. The manager, Steve, was shockingly inappropriate, condescending, and rude. To make matters worse, he suddenly quoted me an additional $4000 for the job. It's hard not to suspect this was a deliberate tactic to discourage me from choosing their services. When I questioned the price hike, Steve responded with chastisement and suggested I seek help elsewhere. In light of this atrocious encounter, I promptly scheduled the repair with their competitor, who quoted the original $2800 price. My experience there was a complete contrast. The staff was honest, friendly, and treated everyone with respect, regardless of their background.I strongly advise against entrusting your vehicle to Classic Coachworks. Their unprofessional behavior and questionable pricing tactics demonstrate a lack of integrity and respect for customers. Seek a reputable repair center that values customer satisfaction instead.

Hate to do it but did not see the quality of service or professionalism the Audi dealer touted. Two and a half weeks to suction out some impact dimples ok fine. I get it you're busy. But telling me you want to take extra time to make sure everythings in tip top condition and then leaving a flagrant touch up paint smudge on the front driver side fender that I didn't notice right away because of the rain. Had to drive 45 minute round trip to come back and get buffed. Ok fine I'll live with it...Then I'm backing out that treacherously narrow parking lot into 4 lane traffic, as one of their techs is bringing a big smashed up BMW SUV out of the shop into my path. I gesture him to wait so I can pull out because I finally see my in, and he essentially flips me off, mean mugs me to go screw myself and squeezes by me making me wait for the next in even though I was there before him. Completely rude and ignorant behavior. If this was Center City I expect that kind of treatment but this is the Main Line and this is supposed to be a higher end body shop.Work wasn't any better than you'd get at a Maaco, took twice as long, priced through the roof and I get treated like a 2nd class customer on my way out.Sorry but it's ridiculous. Wouldn't go back.

Awesome work! My daughter had a minor fender bender on her CX-5 that required replacement of the rear bumper skin and some metalwork on the lift gate amongst other odds and ends. I'm a car guy and very particular (a bit more relaxed with her car, I concede). Upon picking up the vehicle, I wasn't completely sure if the car was hers. They went above and beyond, addressing a few other blemishes with a nice detail inside and out. Jim Hart and the crew delivered and I so thankful. It's nice to have your expectations exceeded, something all too rare these days.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

RE: My 964 triple black Porsche 911 & light deer strike: I brought my 911 to Classic Coachwork in Feb of 2018 for repairs to the front headlight, fender, bumper, etc. after hitting a deer. While damage to the layman looked light, if your are an owner of one of these cars, you know you want / need the fix to be perfect, especially the paint (a subtle metallic black). The team at Classic did a fantastic job on all fronts. Metal work, parts sourcing, replacing and paint / blend. The front end was stripped down to bare metal where needed, expertly refinished, reassembled and blended perfectly. All panels were aligned perfectly. The car came back far better than it went in. A blessing. The team's personal attention was fantastic (thanks Ryan and team). They let me in to photo document the process, and put up with my anal car tendencies with a smile. Not a cheap scrub and spray by any means, but if you have a valuable car you care about, these guys were GREAT. Thank you gentlemen.

Quoted $5,700 for partial paint job and grill replacement. Actual cost $6,200. Explanation was extra parts, blah, blah, blah. Thought that was why they were the experts. Estimated delivery December 19th, actual December 28th. For work that isn't covered by insurance, suggest you find a shop that honors their estimates or at least comes close.

They did a fantastic collision repair job on my BMW. They came highly recommended by the BMW dealer and boy they did not disappoint. They showed sincere concern for me as a person after the reported accident and even waived a small fee for tire wear and tear.Job took longer than initially anticipated and I would have appreciated a little more communication on the updates of my vehicle repairs. I had to call all the time to inquire about the status of my vehicle. Only reason for the one star deduction.Overall very satisfied-

Our brand new AUDI, two months old was taken in this shop after a collision and I was very nervous about the quality of the repair. I didn't know anything about this shop. Well I came to find out that the job these people did was outstanding, extremely professional and when I took my car back it was perfect, brand new.I have to say that everybody was extremely polite, very helpful and they made a point to keep me informed on the progress of the repair.I have been extremely impressed of their professionalism . Many thanks to you Steven and to your team.

I have used Classic Coachwork more often than I would have liked but the experience has always been extremely positive. Every time the car has left them looking better than it had the day it rolled off the dealers lot. It's the only place I ever recommend and the experience of my friends and co-workers with the shop had always been positive.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Highly recommended. The staff was extremely professional, followed up on every detail and kept me well informed during the entire repair process. I am very particular about my automobiles. The quality of the body work and the flawlessly blended paint exceeded my expectations. Our car was involved in a rear-end collision which required a great deal of repair from the rear quarter panels back. Even in bright sunlight, I could see no evidence of the repair. This will be the only place I take any of my cars if they should need body work. THANK YOU.

Best Autobody shop on the Main Line! I took my 3 month old car to Classic Coachwork after an accident and it was returned to me looking better than the day I drove it off of the dealer's lot! Steve and his team were professional and kept me informed every step along the way. I could not have asked for a more helpful business during such a stressful time.Trustworthy: I notified the shop of some valuables that were left in my car consul and CC stored them safely in the shop vault until I was able to able to retrieve them.Courteous: I dealt with a nightmarish situation (with the rental car company) relating to my replacement vehicle during my repairs, and CC was very understanding and respectful.I would not hesitate to do business with them again!

Classic Coachwork is the most professional, detailed and courteous auto body shop in the Philadelphia area. Unfortunately we have been in situations the last few years which required body work. We were grateful to have a "go to Location" for the tow truck driver. Classic Coachwork met with our insurance company and did not hesitate to call them back if/when extra damage was discovered. They take great pride in there work. My daughters car looked show room ready when they were finished. I will never use any other auto body shop other than Classic Coachwork Mainline. They are hands down the BEST of Philadelphia and Main Line!!! Steve, Frank, Debbie Thanh and countless others due an amazing job working as a team to make a difficult situation so much better! Your the best!!

This shop never fails at its quest to be the finest auto body repair shop in the region. When accidents happen, I take the affected car to Classic without ever considering other, inferior alternatives. Why? Because these people are perfectionists. When they are finished doing their work, your car will look better than you ever thought possible. Plus, the staff is amazingly cooperative and so easy to work with -- unlike other places that treat clients with disdain. I can only give Classic my highest possible rating and only recommend them to you for whatever interior or exterior body work and painting your car might need. Whether its a BMW or a Chevy, nearly new or quite used, it doesn't matter: These people always bring their "A game" and do their best work. You will not be disappointed!

Excellent service from start to finish. Our cars are a big investment and if something comes up, we expect top quality workmanship. The team at Classic Coach has been nothing short of stellar. Not only are Frank C. and the team pleasant and easy to deal with, but they consistently excel when it comes to the final result - making our vehicles like new again. We are admittedly tough to please, but have been more than satisfied with our experiences at CC of the Main Line over the years. Bottom line - we will not consider any other body shop for our cars, period. [Most recently, our 2007 Lincoln Town Car completed flawlessly on 2/15/2016]

I took my BMW Z4 here to be fixed after a collision. They updated me almost daily on the condition of my vehicle and made my car look brand new (they even fixed a few minor scratches, no charge!). My favorite part was the fact that they sent me a personal thank you note, and Richard gave me a follow up call a few weeks after I got my car back to check up on it's condition. I was very pleased with their professionalism. The next time my car had issues, I brought it to a BMW dealership (on the Main Line), thinking that they would do a better work since they specialize in BMW's. I was wrong. I was (and still am) extremely angry about BMW Mainline's work, and I would choose Classic Coachwork over them in a heartbeat the next time I need my Z4 serviced.Overall, Classic Coachwork is the best place to take your vehicle. For someone like me, my Z4 is my baby, and I'd never trust her in anyone else's care ever again. Thanks Classic Coachwork!!

I am a car enthusiast and needless to say my cars are very important to me. I've dealt with Steve and Classic Coachwork for 11 or more years. When we have a body issue with any of my families cars they go here. The service is 1st class as is the ongoing communication until pick-up. Bottom line is the quality of workmanship. I'm critical and I've never felt the work has been anything but perfect. They have my business.

Someone recently tapped my less than one month old BMW in the parking lot at work. The BMW dealer strongly recommended Classic Coachwork. After working with Steve and crew I now understand why. They made the process painless (by working with the other person's insurer and keeping me out of it), gave frequent updates and the work is beyond reproach. Really, one would never be able to tell paintwork had been touched. I stupidly ran over something on the other side of the car before I dropped off the car to Steve. He replaced and repainted the part (again, no one could tell by looking at it) and his charges, which I paid, were very reasonable.Although I hope not to need his services again, I would absolutely use Classic in the future and recommend their services to anyone I know.

Frankie and Debbie helped me out very much when it came to my insurance company. They had given me the correct advise when my insurance company was low balling me. I did not realize that accredited or approved shops were really working for the insurance company and not the customer, like Classic Coachworks. I will never go anywhere else but here they have really done a great job on my Volvo XC70. You absolutely cannot tell it was in any shop and looks brand new. I was referred here by a friend named Ron Ruff and this has been the best auto body shop experience. You have a life-long customer that strongly recommends this auto body shop over any other paint and auto body shop place!Thank You Very Much,Tim Geiger

I was devastated when my M3 convertible received front end damage from a hit and run. I immediately sought out recommendations from several friends who have been quite unfortunate and between them have had the need for dozens of body repairs. The names that kept coming up were Classic Coachwork of the Main Line in Wayne (specifically this location), and one other shop, also with multiple locations, whose name may or may not be similar to the spanish word for horse.I drove to each location, and asked what they could do for my baby. The horse place looked beautiful. The body shop looked like a modern surgical floor, and there was a Lamborghini getting work done - they must be awesome, right? The work is probably just fine there, but I'll tell you what sold me on Classic - the people. By the way, the horse place made no effort to take pictures or make a formal estimate, just gave me some info and said what a great relationship they have with my insurance company's rep, so I would be in good hands. When I stopped into the Wayne location, Frank quickly came out and assessed the damage himself. He took many pictures, and before the day was out I had a quote. What's more, he suggested I probably shouldn't drive with the bumper dislodged and asked if he could pull it in to bungee it together in a more stable way for me. His guys spent the next 30 minutes removing and then reinstalling the bumper properly, allowing me to safely drive until the work could start. They hadn't even been told they'd earned my business yet. While my car was in, I happened to be nearby and stopped in. Steve gladly took me in to see the progress, and while it was painful to see my car in unpainted skin, it was clear they were carefully restoring it as it should be.Debbie, who runs the front office, was always available by email or phone, and she was instrumental in helping me get answers to any questions I had. Steve consistently kept me updated throughout the process and made sure I had no concerns. Then came pickup day. The car looked great. Frankly, it looked better than it has in years. What's more, when I dropped the car off I had noted a few blemishes to Steve so that we could agree on what the existing non-insurance damage was. He was going to get me a quote in case i wanted to get it fixed, too. Here's the kicker. They fixed the additional blemishes, and didn't charge me a cent over my deductible. These were not five minute fixes, either. One required paintless dent removal, and having worked with those magicians before, I am confident the charge would have been $150 for the ding, maybe $100 if done in conjunction with other panels. Another required the rocker panel to be removed and repainted, and then required new OEM clips to get it reinstalled correctly. It's just fantastic. Steve, Debbie, and Frank really work great as a team, and they clearly have some expert hands working on the cars in the back. Finally, lest you think I'm a completely blind person to faults, I'll point out the only one I see, and it's one I can live with. The job took longer than planned. When I came in for the initial estimate, they gave me a date several weeks in the future. They made it clear they could get it in more quickly at one of their other facilities, but again - this specific one was the one highly recommended to me. Sure enough, when that date came, they had parts and were ready for me. The expectation was initially set at "about a week" to get the work done. It took the better part of two weeks. That said, it was well worth it.The Classic team worked beautifully with my insurance company (USAA) for both the initial and supplemental claim needed, and neither time was there any issue with the requested work. I hope I never have to have body work done again, but if I do, I'll be calling Steve immediately to get on their calendar!

Classic Coachwork deserves 7 stars. They were helpful in ways my insurance company could not. They even contacted me before my insurance adjuster did and offered me information I completely forgot about because of the aftermath of my accident. Their service and calm demeanor made all the difference in the world. Thank You Steve and the excellent staff at Classic Coachwork. They are The Best.

I purchased a brand new 2016 Audi and to my horror it was damaged in a Airport Parking lot during the first week or two. Audi of Devon suggested Classic Coachworks and I couldn't be happier. I live in the city and Steve (plus the entire team) did everything they could to make th experience as smooth as possible. When I arrived Steve met me outside and had The rental vehicle place waiting for me when I arrived. That's what you call a WOW moment. While repairing the vehicle, Steve called me once per week to update me every step of the way. When the vehicle was finished it looked as good as new. On top of that the service could not have been better!!

Large fender bender on 76W in November ... front hood completely crunched 1/2 way up to the windshield. I asked how long and was told about 4 weeks (would have been Christmas week) due to "deer season" which I thought meant they go to hunt. No ... it's because of so many people hitting deer. Well, I waited an additional 3 weeks due to timing and wrong parts being delivered, but finally just got my car back. It's looks great! I drove immediately after getting it for a couple hours on both highway and back roads and couldn't even tell I was in an accident. No noises. Didn't feel different engine-wise. I was told to call with any issues and I will should I encounter any, but I am very pleased even though I had to wait a long time. I saw the previous posts and was really working hard at being patient considering how long I had been waiting and felt compelled to share my experience. Steve is a very nice guy and doesn't say much ... he gets to the point and stays silent (maybe he's expecting a s**tstorm to come at him). Their work was tops ... just don't get into anything during deer season :)

Last month set up a appt for a front end hit with Classic. I dropped my car off in Wayne and they took it to West Chester. It took about 2 weeks. I picked it up and could not find one thing wrong with it. I was in the car business for 20 years and felt with many body shops and never saw a car come back done right, these guys did it right 100%! Everyone was super nice and handled everything perfect! I will from now on bring everything to them and tell anyone I know to go to them.. Bravo to everyone there!!

Rude, and Discourteous. Refused to talk about damage that occurred at their shop, and instead chose to insult my vehicle."Your baby isn't the precious jewel you think it is."I pointed out that we have never met, or spoken. How would he know how I felt about my car? They also significantly delayed my vehicle repair (which will not be done by them). This is the first, and last time I will give them the opportunity to display their lack of professionalism.

They were so unbelievably kind and helpful. They really were. They called often with updates, even when there wasnt a lot to say. They know how much anxiety this whole process can cause, and they did everything to put our minds at rest. The quality of the work was excellent. I heard a little rattling sound a couple of days after I left, took the car back, and they tweaked it immediately. I was so taken aback by their kindness and professionalism. Thank you Steve, Debbie, Tyler, and the rest of the team

No other place to go for auto body repair! Steve and Debbie could not have been more helpful. Their customer service is first class. They answered all my questions and they kept me informed all along the way! And the workmanship is incredible. The car looks brand new. You would be crazy to go anywhere else. They made a painful process go so smoothly! I hope you don't need body work but this is the place to go. Be sure to ask for Debbie and Steve when you get there!

We are from out of State. I got the name of Classic Coachwork online because my son's car had an incident. For all I knew it would be expensive to fix.Steve fixed it within a few hours and would not charge us. He would not even take a nominal tip. These are honest people.
