I stopped by gestresst with issues with my 1025r that I bought from this location. They took me in the back to speak with their Technicians and they went through the possibilities of what it may be and today I tried their suggestion and my tractor was fixed in just a few minutes. I'm so happy that they were willing to help me out with no expectation of anything in return just being good people offering good service. Thank you all so much. You are definetly a bright spot in my day!

Just purchased an S160 on March 25th. Christian, our sales associate, was very helpful & answered all of our questions. The employees were very friendly. Our tractor was delivered two days later. The delivery man explained everything about the tractor. Very good experience purchasing our new tractor.

Recently had my lawn tractor in for stalling on hills. I changed all the filters & fuel pump and it still would stall on hills. Took it into Middletown and they quickly found the issue with the fuel line in the tank, something I never would have found. I was expecting a pretty big bill and was ecstatic when the bill was very very reasonable. Their entire service department from the nice lady who I initially spoke too, to the department head, to the one worker I spoke too, everyone was incredibly nice and professional. An oddly unexpected positive experience since my experience at other tractor service departments was dismal. THANK YOU Middletown service department.

Customer service reps were great to deal with.Only issue is with corporate. You are already charging me $106.00 delivery fee, but you still feel the need to tack on fuel surcharge as well? That's just gouging the customer at that point.

Great service and prices. I shopped around at a few dealerships and had a list of specific options that i wanted. However, once i received the paper quotes, some of the options i specifically asked for were not even on the quotes, after several rounds of revisions, there were dealers that still couldn't correctly itemize everything on I wanted on paper, which was confusing and frustrating. Middletown was the only dealer to get things correct the first time i asked. They also had the best pricing once everything was said and done. I dealt with Tony Barker and I give him 5 stars for listening and coming up with a quote that had everything i asked for. Tony's service was also superior, he returned phone calls and also had answers to everything i inquired about. There were also a few things i wanted on my tractor that John Deere couldn't help with and dealing with aftermarket suppliers created more questions, all of which Tony helped with and was able to answer, thus allowing me to get the correct parts ordered. So even after the sale Tony was a great help. I couldn't have asked for a salesperson, I also had the opportunity to meet and work with other staff at Middletown, all of which were very friendly and informative. I am so thankful for Tony and Middletown and i wont be shopping around the next time i need anything tractor related. I will be going straight to Middletown with no reservations

Charlie is one of the greatest guys, Middletown is lucky to have him, he helped me no matter how long , how difficult. And was patient and informative at the same time. I couldn t have got through my problem with my mower without him. He s taught me so much and is truly a great guy. If I m calling in to Middletown I m asking for Charlie every time !

Don t take anything in for repair that you want back anytime soon.It took one month to get my tractor back from basic service. Will never make that mistake again.After posting this review the service manager reached out to me and rectified the issue of not getting my tractor back in a timely manor. I would like to change my review to at least a four star as it would have been in past dealings with Middletown tractor. I don t give 5 stars to anyone because there s always room for improvement. I will continue doing business with them and for future reference if you need help go to the service manager.

Well I don t know how good their service is yet Because I haven t been able to use my mower since they delivered it yet. I can talk about the delivery that the driver had supposedly Left an extra key in the ignition of my lawnmower but it was not there when I got home. I called them immediately to inform them I found no key in the ignition. Maybe they should do like Uber does and take a picture when they drop it off because now it s my word against the drivers word there s no key in the ignition. I lost a whole day of work. Whoever I spoke with when I called back said they would get a key out to me - I waited and never heard back from them . They were paid for their service and the delivery so it should ve been right

Excellent experience!!! Purchased the John Deere 100 model. Tractor delivered on time and works great. Can't say enough good things about Tony and JR. Courteous, personable and professional. A pleasure to deal with both.

I worked over the phone with Dana and JR to purchase a new tractor for my Dad in Pittsburgh. Middletown was very professional and easy to deal with. The price was very reasonable, the sale and delivery experience was excellent. Nice work Dana and JR, thank you!!

They had my tractor a little longer than expected. But, the Manager JR got on it for me, and got my tractor back to me in a timely manner. Tractor works and runs like new. Good service!

Would give 5 stars for the sales side of this review. Rich was very good and no hassle. Bought a lawn tractor for my In laws. Picked up on a Friday and broke down on the next day. .6 hours they put in the tractor had oil leaking out filter housing. Called service and the said get it here right away. Couldn t due to our location. Been there almost 2 weeks. Called to check in progress said oil leaked fixed waiting on a new seat. Seat wasn t ripped when I dropped it off, as service manager stated that they were waiting in a new seat to come in as it would be replaced under warranty. Well it wasn t ripped when dropped off. Going to try and call again tomorrow to check on status. Mean time my in laws paid a landscaper to cut grass the first week without the mower and I borrowed my neighbors spare mower for this week. Only reason we knew it was leaking oil is drive belt slipped and mower wouldn t move. So much for quality control on both dealer and factory. Was told there was no o-ring on filter housing. Hoping it s done soon. In laws are on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay for someone to cut their 1 acre lot weekly. Please don t use COVID as an excuse the part I m waiting in wasn t the reason I brought but in

Recently purchased a new lawn tractor at the Washington location Dana was outstanding answered all my questions and took care of a problem with delivery time to get to me when she said they would, highly recommend Middletown tractor and Dana she is easy to deal with and has a great attitude. Recommended dealership to a friend and he purchased a new lawn tractor also.

It is very knowledgeable and a great selection of quality equipment. I am done buying any machines from the big box stores. Middletown equipment is so much better. And they have parts and services available.

I feel this store is growing too big and cannot handle their customers. My experience with their service department has caused me to consider every doing business with the Washington store again. A simple chainsaw (brand new but of course not under warranty) repair has taken too many weeks with way too many phone calls to check on the repairs. This place has left a bad taste way too many times.

We took a tractor in for service and JR in the service dept did an excellent job of explaining what the problem was. He kept us informed of when the parts would be in and he even had the tractor fixed earlier than we had expected. We really admire his work ethic!

Buyer beware. Purchased a used mower. Cut number 7 in 8 weeks, it will not start. Says low battery. Charge & test battery. It s not the battery. Talk to my sales rep Tony. Nothing can be done except bring it in & pay for service. No discounts, must pay full price for all parts & service. He was nice enough to sell me it & tell me how great that mower was only to say today that it was not very good to start. Hearing his sales pitch again vs. asking for service are 2 different answers. Good luck!

MTS has done it again! I can t thank The service writer Tiffany enough for all the foot work she did to not only get my 1025r into the shop quickly for the air cleaner PIF but also hooked up with a new hood, current hoods paint was not adhering to the plastic, but she made it happen! I know it s only a 1025r, but this his how I make my money for my family! I can t thank her enough for going above and beyond for customer service, communication, friendly attitude and overall kindness! Customer service is what makes or breaks a company no matter the brand or name! Keep up the great work Tiffany!

Great service on the sales side. Jacob was very helpful & put together a tractor package that perfectly fit my needs. Delivery was smooth & easy as well even with my crazy schedule. MTS met every expectation I had when buying a new piece of equipment. Hopefully JD has made a quality tractor that will last for many years!

Due to the current situation I purchased my X350 mower over the phone. Rich gave me all the information I needed, and made the purchase an easy process. He was timely in getting me the information, and quote. The delivery was scheduled, and on time. Thank you for the great service, and attention to detail. Great job!

I would like to compliment the parts department. Jason Ross has always lead me in the right direction, to receive the right part in a quick amount of time. Any time I have issues finding what I need, he goes out of his way to get me numbers and part. Jason is very professional and a huge asset for the parts department in the Washington store. He is a 5 star employee.

I stopped at Middletown to get extra parts for a piece of equipment my husband has and I had ZERO idea what I was really looking for. Rich Narus was super patient and helpful as I pitifully described what our equipment looked like and what I was trying to get for my husband. Rich made sure I was confident that I was buying the correct item; He was an excellent listener and was extremely knowledgeable. Would recommend him as the go to sales rep if you re on the hunt for new equipment or extra accessories!!

I have an older John Deere lawn mower that was blowing blue smoke. I called and after waiting a week they picked up the mower. After another week they told me the issue was the carburetor needed cleaning and they changed the oil. That was $200 dollars.I had also requested to get the three belts changed. They got my machine mixed up with another customer and they changed the belts on his unit. After more daily phone calls for which they never return a call they told me that when they did the quality check they stated I had a bad carburetor and it needed to be replace. That cost an additional $185. After more daily calls they finally told me it was ready for delivery. They delivered the unit and put it in my shed. I went to start the unit and all I got was clicks. I called and they stated they would pick it up Monday. Wednesday I called to find out what the issue was and they stated it was the starter solenoid and they would be $35 for the part, some wire and a few hours labor. They called to say it was done and gave me an outrageous price. They called me back and gave me a lower price $193. They said they would deliver after 1:30 pm. They finally showed up at 8:00pm. I drove the unit to the shed to find the clutch does not work correctly. guess another call to get that fixed.Bottom line.1. Over charge for sloppy work2. They lose paperwork so they don t know what is happening3. They don t return phone calls in service4. They do poor quality checkingRecommendations1. They need a computerized service system that the customer can go on line a get a status update2. They need a full time secretary on the service desk to contact customers and get the shop organized.3. They need to fix these issues or customers should go elsewhere6/30/18 Followup. The mower deck belt they installed for me 30 days ago broke today. Now I have to either call them to fix it or just replace it myself. Note: I had them change the 3 belts since they had been on the mower for 10 years even though they did not cause me any trouble. Preventive Maintenance. The 3 belt change was $400 dollars.7/1/18 Changed the mower deck belt myself. Took about an hour.7/2/18 Talked with the Manager of Middletown Tractor. They have made several changes since I originally posted my note last month.1. They have a full time person answering the phones.2. They have new services manager3. They are fully staffed in service.4. They are working on a way to provide on line notices to customers about the status of their equipment being serviced.I am very glad they have taken my suggestions seriously.Time will tell but it is a step in the right direction.

They came and picked up my tractor and serviced it and brought it back went out and bush hogged for couple hours and drain plug fell out and lost all my hydraulic fluid then I called them see if they would take care of it they said they would but they said there service man didn t drain the oil from the plug that fell out that seems odd that after 7 years of owning my tractor that a drain plug would just fall out just right after they serviced it well then I got little upset after they wouldn t accept they made mistake I guess there service men are perfect if they would said okay we made a mistake I would of been fine with it but. Anyways I found the drain plug put back in my self took care of it and won t be using middle town tractor service anymore and thinking about trading my John Deere in a different brand tractor so I don t have to deal with them since there only John Deere dealer close to me

I would like to commend Jason Ross for going above and beyond helping me secure parts and information. He willingly interacts by email and text message. Many times it s difficult for me to pick the telephone or wait on the telephone but by conducting business by email, Jason can answer my questions as he gets time. Please keep up the good work. Jason, it doesn t go unnoticed.

Very happy in and out under a hour with a new john deere s240! Friendly staff great service i would give 10 stars if i could.
