Only four good drivers. The rest are trash. Must pay lousy.

I use this service quite frequently to go to Pittsburgh and South Hills Village. I can safely say that for $3.50 each way (I'm in Canonsburg), you definitely cannot complain considering the distance. It is worth the price. The driver on the Metro Saturday route was very kind and polite all of the times I have utilized that route. All of the drivers I have had on the Pittsburgh Metro route were also very nice. I don't know any of their names, but I have no complaints about any of them whatsoever. Overall, I would recommend using this transit service if you need to get to/from Pittsburgh quickly and safely.

I rode the bus to Pittsburgh and back recently, and had a A+ experience all around. Both rides were exactly on time; the drivers were very friendly; each bus seemed quite new and was very clean. It was $7 (round trip) very well spent.

Freedom transit is ok. I don t like the noon the day before cut-off time to schedule trips. Plus some of the schedulers won t schedule your ride even though you called 10 minutes to noon and were on hold but they didn t answer until a few minutes after noon, or you get disconnected or hung up on by them. Then you re screwed.

Price is ok for the bus. But never anyone in the office. Maybe every once in awhile. Clean bathrooms tho. Around town or to Pittsburgh

As a home health care worker I am subjected to the occasional trip using these services. Unfortunately this company is absolutely horrible. They have only been on time maybe twice. My client would call numerous times to be told lies about the arrival time. When speaking with the dispatcher she became rude and lied to get my client off the phone. On one occasion the driving was so bad we had to call the paramedics to help my client after being jostled around very violently. I would not recommend this company to anyone at this point. On a fair note, some of the drivers they use from First Transit are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they are few and far between. Better off going with a better company.

I use this service because this is literally the only option to get into Pittsburgh from Washington, but I cannot actually recommend this transportation option for the follow reasons:infrequent service to Pittsburghunannounced stops to change drivers, causing unexplained delays of undetermined lengthunprofessional drivers who just can't say no to "helping" with areas outside of their expertise (ie the bus schedules of other transit authorities), thereby further delaying a route already running behind schedule.edit: local routes also suck. all I want to do at the end of my day is chill out and ride home, not stress out over the too loud radio, or the driver barking at me to tell him where I'm getting off. why does he need to know? I'll get when they reach my stop -why does it need to have be a whole thing?

Horrible. They treat their customers and clients like dirt. They talk to everyone with the most condescending tone possible. It's almost as if they were trained to act as such. It's really inconsiderate when considering the reasons people have to travel through your horrible service. It wouldn't be so bad if we weren't all treated like little kids after trusting them with providing US with a service. We're not providing them with a service, so I don't understand where they get off with the constant attitude. I'm always really respectful and kind to people, but Tabitha and her supervisor are some of the rudest, most inconsiderate human beings I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Freedom and Washington Rides both need to step their game up. Those poor people on dialysis you make wait in the hot sun for 5 hours, dropping them off at home dead last, so that's another 2 hours they have to sit on the bus in pain. It breaks my heart to see those people suffer at their own expense. They pay just like anyone else. If you guys didn't make money off of our problems, then it wouldn't be a business. Now would it. I can't believe you guys can go home and sleep at night with the way you treat people who rely on you for your services that have been paid for. It's just not right and I think you people who work there need to really reconsider how you treat other human beings. Like I said I called with a normal tone of voice, complately respectful, yet tabitha found it necessary to talk to me like I was a fool. The way she talks to people, that snarky attitude. Find another job if you can't deal with being a secretary or can't deal with other people in a polite and respectful way. It's pathetic. As I said above, the drivers are amazing people. Great people. I love my driver. Very polite and kind to me. He listens to us and tries his best to keep us all happy and get us there and back as quick and comfy as possible. I'll be sure to give him a shout out on here when I find out his name because he deserves to be recognized for being one of your best employees and doing the job of the office for them while also driving the bus and dealing with us customers. He's a skinny African American guy, he sings as a hobby. He's a great human being and you should fire the rest of them and try to hire on more respectful and reasonable/logical human beings

Very disappointed. My boyfriend and I are on low income so therefore we receive welfare to help us live. When we called them about setting up rides for him since he doesn't have a license before we got on welfare they told him that he would have to be on welfare to receive free rides. Once we started receiving welfare, he called again and they said that it would be $37.50 per day to ride him to and from work. If we had that money to spend each day then we wouldn't be on welfare! Then they said he could catch the bus which the bus goes nowhere near his work. Not to mention their bus stops are not clearly marked so who even knows where that bus goes. I have seen one bus stop sign for them but that's it. Very bad customer service here. Don't tell people one thing then change it and tell them another thing especially for a low income family who is trying to live.

Drivers are very helpful and very polite! But those buses are very uncomfortable! I go to kidney dialysis and those rides are gonna destroy my kidneys! You feel every bump and pothole on the road!

I use Freedom Transit time to time. If I dont feel like driving. Esp if we want to go downtown for the day or go to SouthHills village. You can not beat it for 5 dollars. Figure if you drive you have gas and parking alone is a arm and a leg

Not happy with the system, they need a better system for disabled and senior citizens.

Unfortunately this is the only choice for transportation in Washington County. My sister had to wait 4 hours for a return pick up dispite being told she would be picked up earlier. This is her first experience in needing transportation. I feel sorry for those who have to rely on this.

I love that you can use the connect card for fares, but some of the buses don't accept them.

Very disrespectful staff, rude. They also refused a cancer patient who is already in their system and who still used the service a ride. Might be going to court soon.
