Absolutely will be my new go to location for all my automotive needs. Needed to get my vehicle inspected. School had just started, the crud had already been brought home, everyone except for me was sick, and they worked with us getting my vehicle in after work. With everything going on I wasn't able to get my paperwork for my registration and insurance.The amazing lady that works the front desk went above and beyond to help me. I can't remember her name and I'm sorry for that but they could have easily said not today and sent me away until I had everything right. Instead they stayed after closing time and got my vehicle legal for me. Completely professional and when my wife scheduled the appointment the communication was great. We all knew the situation beforehand and we all knew what to expect. I cant say enough good things about this business and they made a lifetime customer in this 1 appointment.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Take my car there for inspection and the people are great and are honest about charging fair prices, willing to take the time to diagnose your car with you and help you understand your problem and how it can be fixed.

I wasn't going to do this, but I'm entirely disappointed. I know others have had a good experience with this local shop, but I took a chance and it backfired. I took my car here to have my brakes changed. He did an entirely poor and sloppy job and I had to send it back 3 times to figure out why they kept squealing. He left me with more damage and about 3 months later I lost control on the road with my children in the car when my brakes stopped completely. I had to take it someplace else for someone more experienced to fix their mistake. I was charged $900 and they kept my car for 7 days. Sorry guys, you gotta do better if this is what you proclaim to excel in.

The whole team is great! I've struggled to find someone in a pinch, came across Beard's and they squeezed me in. Their prices are very fair and the boss is very proactive with the whole team. I've now taken 2 vehicles there for inspection and will continue to use Beard's. I highly recommend!

I have been going to this auto repair facility for 30+ years for misc auto repairs, inspections and oil changes, plus fuel! Yes, at one time, they did have gasoline! Talking with the owner back then, when the price of fuel had gone up so high and no sign of going back down, Bob opted to stop selling fuel instead of charging such high prices to his customers, although necessary, and focusing on repairs and such. Bob is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. He is respectful personally and professionally. Beyond that, he is honest. You won't find over charging or find yourself paying for work that wasn't done or wasn't needed. They are quick to diagnose you cars issue and get the work done in a timely manner. He is always ready to help in any way he can, doing just the little things such as putting air in your tires for you is just one example of going out of his way when he doesn't have to. As you can tell... this auto facility comes highly recommended by me!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

They had terrible service, an appallingly long wait time, and they ended up charging us a couple hundred dollars more than the estimate because they had to work "four hours longer" than they thought they would. Honestly couldn t of walked into a better shop . The guys are great and the secretary is absolutely on top of things . I ve been going here for over two years now and have always been taken care of above and beyond . They know what they are doing and will tell you what the problem is in detail and what the best fix or solution is. Great people to work with and will help you in any way they can. I will be happy to detail my experience.I scheduled an appointment for a state inspection with your facility, based on online reviews. My plan was to leave my vehicle and have my girlfriend pick me up so that we could shop while the car was being inspected.In the month preceding the inspection, I had body work done on the underside of my car by the same shop that does body work on my employer's vehicles. He did wonderful work and guaranteed it for the Pennsylvania inspection standards.Next, I left the vehicle at a reputable repair shop near my job in West Virginia. This establishment has a decades long reputation for honesty and competence. They said that I needed a ball joint, inner tie rod, front end alignment, an exhaust pipe and a rear backup light. They repaired everything but the pipe and the light, which they told me in advance they do not do. The man who supervised the work is a PA certified inspector. When the car was finished, I asked him "top to bottom, is everything good with the car? I'm getting my PA inspection next weekend." He said "other than the backup light, everything is great. It will pass the PA inspection. "So, I bring my car to your place the next weekend. Your man at the counter takes me in to see your mechanic. Both of them tell me that the underside has serious rust damage and that all of the motor mounts are shot. I asked them for an estimate and your counter guy said "its probably not worth it, at this point." I said that I wanted to keep the car, as it is a work car and my workplace is dirty. So I asked "ballpark, what am I looking at." Your mechanic said "without looking at anything else, you are probably looking at $1,200-$1,500, easily." I said "thank you. I'll take the car and think it over." I paid and left.The next weekend, I took the car to my normal inspection place, which does great business and has a good reputation. The mechanic asked "why did it fail?" I said "I don't want to bias the inspection. Just do a thorough inspection and tell me what you find." A few hours later, he calls me and says "we have to replace a rear backup light and an exhaust pipe but other than that, it looks good and drives fine. What was the problem?" I told him, and the station owner, what your people told me and they both laughed. The mechanic said "well, you saved yourself $1,500 on work that your car didn't need. We could have done that work and ripped you off but we don't believe in that." I said "wait a second. Are you saying that it didn't need any of that?" They both laughed again and said "other than the exhaust pipe and the light, no."The same day, I called my repair guy in West Virginia and explained the situation. I said "look, I trust you 100% but I need to know something. Did you cover everything in your inspection? Was there anything you skipped, missed or glossed over? I'm not going to be upset. Just tell me." He said "no. Other than the exhaust pipe and brake light, neither of which we don't repair, and we told you about, no. I am certified in PA and other than those things, and the items we repaired, the car was great. I don't like to be critical of other garages but you were given bad information. It may just have been a mistake on their part."Long story short, a body shop and two reputable garages gave me honest feedback and service and your facility did not.Sorry for the long rant but I felt it necessary to give every detail, so that reviewers would know that I'm telling the truth.

Best place in Washington to get any automotive work done. The guys are great, honest, and hardworking. Every experience I've had with them has been top notch. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It's hard to find a good honest automotive repair shop. One that won't whisper sweet nothings in your ear and then bend you over and have there way with you like trying to sell you turnsignal fluid but if you just give them a try for your next automotive needs i believe your search for a good honest 2nd generation family owned repair shop will be over they will take care of your needs at a fair price and and won't sell you anything you don't need.

After numerous calls to name brand auto shops and not able to get my car in for grabbing brakes. I called Beards! Bob got me in immediately, kept me informed and has been absolutely amazing through this entire experience! Please for the love of god- stay away from name brand auto shops and come to beards your locally owned auto shop!P.S- I m from Morgantown, WV. And will thankfully be able to make it home safely this afternoon
