Was helped by Al in the service center. He helped me out with a small repair in about ten minutes and I was out the door and back to my project. The service area is dated and needs repair but they get the job done.

I've been getting my car inspected there for the past 4 years. The mechanic sure knows his stuff. And while I'm waiting I'm laughing my butt off with the wonderful lady at the desk.Top notch people.

They have almost everything, a little on the expensive side but paying $3.75 for gas evens things out!

A bit high priced as compared, but have a good variety of things others don't. And the staff actually are knowledgable on the things they sell.

I've always loved this store. Wide variety of products and services. Sewing machines, chain saw blade sharpening, lawn mower repair, etc

It was much better when Luke Howe ran the place. They never seem to have what I need anymore. Couldn't buy a single O-ring for my pressure washer. I wish they would up their game and get back to the old standards. In all fainess, Luke is a tough act to follow.

Decent sizes hardware store. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. They had what I needed (3/8" gas supply line) when Lowe's didn't.

Customer service from the shop is terrible. Had my weed eater for 3 weeks. Still not done.. No call saying there is a issue. Called multiple times check on it. Never got to talk to anyone. Just got put on hold and other excuses. Threw my part on the counter when I asked for my weed eater. Lost my buissness for sure. Don't recommend the shop. Take it somewhere else with good service.

Large selection and friendly service. Ask and ye shall receive. If they don't have what you need chances are they can order it. They offer parts and repair service on everything from lawnmowers and chain saws to vacuums, sewing machines and pressure canners.

Ran over to check out some plants. They have quite a good selection not a huge amount, but definitely quality!

My experience at Howe's Hardware has always been positive. I have never been hounded; I have always been helped when I asked for it. Assistance has always been friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable. Product is comprehensive; if you can't find it somewhere else, you probably can find it at Howe's! And..., I appreciate the service/repair shop "out back."

Nice hardware store. Good variety friendly people. Experienced and outgoing people working in the Repair Shop, very knowledgeable and polite. Need your mower, snowblower, or chainsaw fixed? This is the place.

Small and quaint. It has all your basic needs as a hardware store and then some. It has a very inviting feeling and they offer some very unique garden items along with birdhouses. The prices are much higher then Lowe's or any other hardware store.

I have shopped at Howe's for years. Bought lots of big ticket items- mowers, tractors, snow blowers, etc. because I knew I could count on good service. Well, the new owner has obviously decided not to live up to Howe's standards. I have been waiting more than two weeks for service on my Generac. I have cancelled travel plans waiting for them and was promised yesterday they would be here. No call and no repair person. I like to deal local when I can, but my days of buying at Howe's have ended.

Staff was friendly and helpful. However they are limited on what they stock.

Incredibly expensive, same items can be found elsewhere for greater than half the price of this place. Its funny they sell used merchandise out front too and its completely worthless and all worn out with some outrageous price on it. The products have a mound of dust on them too. I was looking at a lock and I swear there was about an inch of dust on it. Probably was there for 5 years or more at some huge price too. I bought a weedwacker and the spool won't stay on the end of it. Took it in, they said they fixed it, the next summer it did it again, so I sold it on Ebay. I haven't bought one thing there that has lasted. You think it would being as high priced as it is. The people there are not friendly either, most give you dirty looks or they ask you every minute if they can help you with something so I quit going there. Stay away...Buyer Beware

One of the better stores in the area. Quiet, not a lot of people, and they always seem to have what i need.

Howes true value, it was okay, but I prolly won't go back. I can get hard ware store stuff at any hardware. I miss the old howe's, that was unique and fun. I've moved back into the area, and I'm sorry some things have changed, howe's being one of them. Sorry, you asked.. I had to tell it how I see it. Goodbye, I wish you the best of luck

After the Governor of PA made wearing masks mandatory and after posting a placard before the store entrance saying the same, customers and employees were not wearing masks. One employee was sweeping and talking with his mask hanging around his neck. Clearly, the lives of both are not "valued" by the store.
