I had my transmission serviced by John and he did a great job. Not only did he get the right GM parts I needed but he took the time to explain everything to me. John made sure my car was running like new before he returned it and he even changed the old spark plugs for me @ no charge and get this, on top of all that he charged me $200 LESS, (I SAID LESS!) then he quoted me. WHO DOES THAT NOWADAYS! I would definitely recommend Transmissions By Lucille to anyone looking for good & honest car service.Service: Transmission

This was by far the best experience I ve ever had at any business related to cars. It turned something horrible (my engine blowing up!) into something downright pleasant! John and the team at Lucille s were lovely, helpful, and prompt. Not only were they kind, but they took the time to explain everyone they were working on with my car. They even made sure I had my car back in time for my big thanksgiving trip. I was given a great price and warrantee on my transmission. They even took the time to fix a problem with my wheel! I brought in my 2014 Honda Civic to have the transmission checked as it was causing a leak. John, more than thoroughly explained to me what the problem was and that it was an easy fix. He even called his Honda guy to verify that was the problem. He was very upfront and honest about the repairs and the cost. I'm glad it was not as bad as the place I first took it to try saying. I'll see you in another 50k miles.

John went out of his way to repair our vehicle exactly the way we were hoping it would be done, he worked with our warranty company to get the repair covered. Two of my coworkers have had transmission work done here and each of them are as satisfied as we are.

Ok, so my transmission started slipping really bad. Code on the dashboard said trans fault I bring it in and I m scared for my life on what the repair is going to cost. The guys there actually attempted to work with my warranty company and got my rebuilt transmission under warranty. I only paid for like $1,000 out of the total cost of $4000 for a rebuilt transmission, and not to mention the great job they did. Drives like brand new. John that works there is a hero!

I only gave 5 stars because I couldn't find 6 stars. John took a ride with me in my car, and immediately identified a couple things that I already knew was wrong with the car by ear alone. John was really good at explaining things and was as honest as could be. I haven't had many customer experiences this spectacular in any line of business.

Aside from being very honest and straightforward about the problem and getting me in and out less than three days after my initial call (it was almost next day completion except for getting the part) - the guys I spoke with were all very personable and were obviously invested in talking about the work and making sure I understood what they were doing. I also got some good advise about other issues to look out for with my car. Would do again.

The two things that everyone looks for in a mechanic are automotive knowledge and honesty-- John at Transmissions By Lucille is one of those rare individuals possessing both of these. He diagnosed and fixed the problem with my 19 year-old car, and took the time to explain the work. And to top it off, the price was reasonable. If your car is having transmission issues, you won't find a better place to get it checked out.

No need to shop around John is upfront fairly priced and does phenomenal work backed by a warranty got my 72 truck moving after I spent thousands at other bogus shops with the transmission truck running great shifts perfect no leaks Hahahaha thx John and his team that worked till some nights past 8 to get it done

Very highly recommend john went way above and beyond to help us out. We couldn't have asked for more. Hopefully we dont ever need anymore transmission work but if we do I know they will be the ones to get our work keep up the good work guys

Love them, just recently I had my car a 2018 Chevy Malibu at Bowser Chevrolet in Monroeville and was told I needed a new transmission,The dealership went over $4,000 for the transmission so I had it towed to this shopThe transmission that was quoted to me by transmissions for Lucille was about 1600 less however whenever my car got there they called me immediately and told me that there was no issue with my transmission there was just a broken axleMy total repair bill with the axle and other things that I had done came to about $780Just a reminder to have something doesn't sound right always will give you the second opinionBut I highly recommend transmission by Lucille when you go ask for John

Good honest shop here like the old days. He always does extra and doesnt charge. They go above and beyond their normal duty to help. I highly recommend
