They weren't too familiar with VW codes and tried to diagnose in two separate sessions. I brought the car to a different, smaller shop, and they diagnosed in an hour session, with them telling me that the issue I had was common and ended up being a much cheaper fix. My car had a timing over advance code for the camshaft and turns out it was a faulty solenoid on the camshaft that delivers oil at certain loads. McDade's was very friendly and honest of their lack of ability to diagnose properly and gave me adequate suggestions for next steps. I'll bring my car back for regular maintenance since they proved they are quick for services they know how to handle.

Quick and easy to schedule.They are exactly what you re looking for in a car, mechanic, (knowledgeable, honest, and reasonable priced). They re not gonna replace something that does not need replaced.

Rhonda and Aaron were gracious enough to see me last minute within an hour of closing on a Thursday. New radiator was installed and everything back to normal the very next Monday. So far no issues and car temperature running just fine!

Great mechanic! I'm an engineer and I can evaluate mechanics very well and I'm quite capable of doing much of the work myself but Jeff the owner is an excellent man and is extremely fair and knowledgeable and never rips you off! It is very common with auto mechanics. So feel comfortable going to Mcdade's. you will not have a better automotive experience!

Service is always reliable with very reasonable prices. I had my Subaru in today for inspection, oil, and an issue with the exhaust. They were able to fix the issue and save me quite a bit of money (compared to buying new parts), and had everything done by 4pm!

Great service great people. They have always treated us fairly and never done us wrong. We have been loyal customers for over 19 years now and never had a bad experience with them. I would highly recommend them if you need your auto repaired or just for inspection.

Ive been having work done at McDades for about 3 years. In my experience I've received top notch service and advice at reasonable rates. I've found Jeff to be an honest mechanic and I would recommend them to anyone.

Upon the first accumulative snowfall of the season I realized my son's vehicle tires were terribly bald. After receiving a very fair price over the phone they were ordered and delivered to the shop within a few hours. Same-day service. I was very happy and my son will be driving more safety!Thanks

i m sure this place will be going out of business in the next five years So do yourself a favor and don t waste your time. A simple oil change and inspection Ended iUp costing me over $100 in parts I did not need and labor I did not warrant. I was also informed my car may not be done the same day of the appointment after the owner assured me this was possible, this is after scheduling my appointment a week in advance and at the earliest time possible. Waste of lot space.

I grew up a Truschels son (mechanic) ... At the end of his career there's know one he'd take his cars to.. and years later I work on what I can .... but time pressing.. there's noone else I'd take my cars to other than my own home wit my father... EXCEPT MCDADES!!!!. ((RIP DAD))... ty Mr McDade!!!! Paul Truschel and his kids continue to PRAISE U for ur excellence HONORABLE WORK SIR... Customer for life!!!!!!!

Just had a engine put in my 08 Yukon and everything is great. Jeff the owner took very good care of my car. I told Jeff he has a customer for life from now on with all 3 of my cars. Good owner,good crew,good work
