The owner, K, is a fantastic mechanic and always gives good advice on keeping your car running at its best. K was able to completely revamp my A/C system in my '92 Miata, even through a complete lack of parts availability. Each time I bring my car in, I feel safe knowing that it is in the best of hands. I also feel that his pricing is extremely fair, and not once have I experienced the sticker shock that comes from dealer maintenance. The owner was able to diagnose the problem with my sister s car with one drive around his lot! He got the parts right away, did the repairs and even fixed some cosmetic issue with her front bumper cover. My sister was able to make the long drive home feeling safe and confident. He does so much more than just keep cars running - he gives people peace of mind!Service: Auto maintenance

A dealership claimed my vehicle needed almost $4,000 of work to pass inspections. Wanting a second opinion, I called KDS for a quote. Boy, was I glad I did! Brent told me to bring my car to the shop so he and owner K can see what work actually needs to be done. Turns out the car needed much less work than I had been told. KDS worked on my car and got it to pass inspections for less than $1,000. I highly recommend KDS. Thank you K and Brent!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I called this to do a repair on my car as it had excellent reviews on google. The gentleman I spoke with first told me he would have to ask his boss to see if they could do the work on my car and he would call me back. I never heard back from him, so I called today and I got the owner on the phone and asked again if the work could be done on my car. He told me they were so busy that he didn't know if he could get to my car for a few months. I asked if I could make an appointment for late December or early January, at which point he began asking me how I knew my car needed a head gasket. I told him that my primary mechanic told me that it needed a head gasket, and then he pressed me as to what were the symptoms to which I didn't know as I am not a mechanic. He then accused me of giving him an attitude when in fact he was the one giving me the attitude. He just didn't want to work on my car and made it seem like it was a huge hassle. I wish I received the same great service with a smile that everyone else on here did, but I guess today wasn't my day. This guy was just plain rude- I don't recommend.

My wife called to schedule an appointment to have our vehicle checked out for an electrical issue. The owner was kind enough to drive to our home, diagnose the problem (faulty alternator), drive back to his shop, pick up the parts and returned to fix our vehicle the very same day. As being mechanically savvy person myself, I can recommend KDS for all your car needs.This is the greatest and the honest shop I've experienced, in different states. Returning customer for few times now , and will definitely be back for all of my car needs.

I would like to let everyone know about KDS Automotive in Valley Forge, PA.My story started when I needed an oil change and wanted to get the job done during my lunch break. I did a Google search and KDS Automotive appeared in my search results. It was nearby my office and had a good Google User rating. I called up KDS and the Karim the owner answered the phone. He was friendly, had good prices, and quickly scheduled an appointment for me.While waiting for the job to complete, a mechanic started to drive my car from where it was parked to one of the open garage bays. As he backed up the car, another customer did not see him backing up and drove her SUV directly behind my car. The mechanic immediately braked my car but could not stop in time and bumped into her car.The SUV did not have any damage and my car only had a few small dings in the bumper. I spoke to Karim and he told me he would fix it. I told him my car was old and had several other dings in the bumper and suggested that I would be OK if the mechanic would use my touch up paint to cover minor paint damage. Karim asked if I was sure and I told him fixing the minor damage with touch up paint would work for me.I dropped of my car this past week and gave Karim the touch up paint. He told me he would take care of it and call me when it was fixed. When I returned to pick up my car, I immediately noticed the entire rear bumper was repaired and looked as good as new. Karim told me he decided to get the job done right and took my car to an auto body repair shop to have bumper repaired.This was the best customer service experience I ve had by far not only was Karim friendly but he went out of his way to fix my issue. I have never been treated so fairly by an Auto Repair business and will not forget his great customer service. Thank you Karim you definitely made my week.

This place goes above and beyond! It is truly challenging to find honest mechanics and luckily, They exist here! They are all about customer service and how they can assist you. It s a place that treats you like family! I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone! They call constantly with updates and progress. I simply cannot say enough good things about them!

Charged $900 for a part that cost at most $460... as little as $170.... after confronting them on the issue they maintained that Advanced Auto charged them $900 for the part... I called Advanced Auto who would sell me the exact part for $450 with a rush afternoon delivery! Pretty sure they price gouged me and then lied about it...Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

they don't work one day I came with the engine of my truck I was going to work and the engine overheated and there was a guy and he didn't want to help me maybe because I was Hispanic but I don't recommend themService: Engine repairService: Engine repair
