This is a great place. Nice people. Justin helped me get my new wheels and tires on and then had some difficulty going down the road so I turned around and we took the front tires off and checked them on the balancer and come too find out the belts were snapped on the front tires. The had the perfect size tires for my truck and hooked me up with some new treads!! Great place and great service guys!! Definitely would recommend %100 if you are in need of service to your vehicle!

Justin and Dave + the whole team at Rte 8 auto are so helpful and have worked on 4 different cars (in various states of repair) for our family for a few years now. They majorly helped me out when my car was needing repairs at a different shop and helped me navigate their parts warranty program for a part that was still under warranty. I also really like the detailed report that they provide when getting your car inspected there, showing the status of all parts of the inspection. They have gone out of their way to be helpful with even the smallest issues (couldn t get my license plate off from screws being rusty/stripped and they did it for me in about 30 seconds!) and even additional help to rent U-Hauls from their location. I fully trust them with any car repair and recommend anyone in the area to get all their car repairs done there

This is a great shop. My husband s car stopped in the turn lane at the Mars High School. They ve never taken care of his car before, but they ve inspected my Tacoma, so I knew they d do a good job. He dropped off the car and left a voicemail. They replaced the alternator and battery, and we had the car back in two days. We were expecting it to take longer because we dropped off without an appointment. The price was reasonable, and the turn around time was fast.I recommend.

How nice to visit a garage that is Customer-Centric and highly professional. The work done on my GMC Envoy was top notch, thorough and completed as promised. I highly recommend! So very happy with the end result.

Great service! The guys here are always so helpful and know what they are doing, dropped my jeep off in the morning before work and was ready for me before I was done. Just needed my inspection and emissions done and they noticed I had a small marker light out and replaced it. Dropped my car off before work to have it inspected. They called me during the day, and said that the car had passed inspection, but the tires could use to be balanced. While I was on the phone with them, I informed them that I had a slow leak in one of the tires as well. They gave me a price for all the work and told me it would be done by the end of the day. After work, I went and picked up my car, left them a check in their secure drop box, and then returned home. All the repairs were completed as stated, and I never had to take any time off at work. Excellent customer service, and very good prices!!! RT. 8 auto service has definitely earned my business! Thanks again guys! I really appreciate it!Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection

My clutch pedal went straight to the floor without return leaving me stranded on a Tuesday afternoon and by Friday afternoon they had called me to let me know the repair was finished.Honest and fair, the problem I expected was exactly what was wrong and they resolved the issue (clutch slave cylinder).I previously worked in the automotive industry for almost 10 years, I won't hesitate to use them again!Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

I called them needing oil change, headlight repairs, and state inspection. The initially were looking at a few days out but when hearing i had headlights out they moved the schedule around so they could accommodate me same day. I could tell from the start they really care about their customers. They had be ready the next morning with everything and made multiple calls to ensure I understood pricing and what was needed.This was so awesome to see in a very close local business. Dropped in to see if they could repair a slow leak in a tire, took me right away, found the problem and fixed it. Also fit me in for an inspection while I was there. Nice folks in here, and HONEST. Prices were very fair & reasonable. I found my new go-to mechanic - I won't go anywhere else.

These guys are fantastic! I had broken down and needed a tow and Dave from Mike's Towing came to get me within a half hour. He towed my car to Route 8 Auto Service and I needed I new battery which they replaced same day. There was even a rebate on the battery which they handled the process for getting me signed up to receive it! Everyone was very nice and professional, I will definitely be using them in the future!Service: Battery

I usually don't write reviews, but my experience with Rt 8 Auto Service was so outstanding, I had to throw some kudos their way! Justin is great to work with at the front desk, and lined up an appointment for diagnosis promptly. Matt diagnosed the problem(hole in condenser), and the repair was made quickly, and at a VERY fair part cost and labor charge. Super cool air for 2 months so far. Glad to see there's some honest car repair places still around. I will be going there from now on!Service: Air conditioning

I had a fantastic experience here! They were able to get me in to look at my car the day after I called and were willing to work with my schedule! I felt they were very thorough in the work they did and took the time to explain each thing they wanted to replace. They were able to give me a quote up front and stuck with it, there were no surprise charges! I really appreciated my interactions with them and the work they did on my car!

Our experience with rte 8 auto service was excellent! Dave communicated with us along the way, and were able to pick up, fix, and have our car returned to us in less than 48 hours.They explained their work and charged a very fair price. I highly recommend Route 8 Auto Repair. Everyone there is friendly, fair, and very helpful. On one occasion the electrical system in my car was malfunctioning and eventually would not start. Dave promptly came to help with a tow, predicted that it was only a new battery that was needed, and that is exactly what fixed the situation. I then had a similar situation with another vehicle, and had the same amazing experience. Very reliable and we trust them for our automotive needs. Thank you.

Twin Willows got me in for two new front tires and an alignment quickly. They also explained how to better maintain my car tires and did all they could to make sure my experience was positive. The price they quoted me was within $20 of the total cost before tax. I respect this as this is not always the easiest profession to quote work until you see what s going on. I ll return to them for an inspection on my husbands car in a few weeks and will look forward to great, honest service again.

My engine light came on and they got me in to check it within the hour. They diagnosed the initial issue and had parts ordered and replaced in 3 days! They later diagnosed an additional issue and advised me to reach out to the manufacturer to pursue warranty assistance (which they did not have to do!). Truly care about their customers weather it's ur first time coming in or not!Service: Engine repair
