We bought our last 3 vehicles off Jim the owner and not once have we got a bad vehicle. The deals he give us on all 3 were reasonable. ANY TIME you buy a used car from anywhere I don't care if it's CHarper etc you can have a issue. But I will say LBSI from my experience and my wife is no doubt a 5 .JUST KEEP IN MIND CAR BUYERS A " AS IS ". is just what it says ,so don't give the dealership a bad rating cause at the end of the day you bought it..THANKS Jim for the great vehicle u given us over the years God Bless

I m giving 5 stars because I think they deserve a better reputation online. We just bought a car two weeks ago and the process was so smooth. The only downside was the wait because they were busy! Of course you need to be prepared for the cars there to come with problems so you need to make sure you can evaluate if the car is a good deal and if the potential work needed is something you can handle. They were very honest about the AS IS policy and they also disclosed issues that might not pass inspection. Since my husband is able to do most of the works a car needs, we were good. There is a notary right up the road. Finance process was a breeze. We will definitely do business with them again.

After going through the bad reviews I still decided to give them a shot and I m glad that I did. They are a used car lot they get in cars that could use some tlc and if they know something is wrong they will send it up the street to be worked on or at very least they will tell you what it needs. With any used car you need to check over the vehicle and know what you re looking for! I can say they were extremely welcoming and down to earth even though Julie was over run with 6 other sales at the time of our purchase was still super nice and was completely honest with what the car needed and even scanned it for codes for me! Don t believe every bad review you see go look and talk to them yourself and make a decision ! Thanks again Julie for all the help and kindness!!!!

Bought a car from LBSI, I was scared after reading the reviews, but did it anyway. Got to drive it home, then the timing belt went and the engine Seized. No more car inless I get a new engine. So I'm out the price of the car, towing expenses, garage fee to tell me what was wrong, then another tow fee to get it back home. All I can say is please take a good mechanic with you when you go to places like this. I didn't and I should have. Never again will I make this huge mistake again. Please be very leery of the cars you buy from dealers like this. You have no recourse to do anything about it and that money, for me, is very hard to come by.

Every car there speaks for itself! Absolute junk I was going to buy a car there until I go take one for a test drive it was so loud and had major engine trouble then took another one for a ride to get a phone call from the staff saying if I wasn't back in 5 minutes they were calling the police an I only went for a 20 minute ride so what they are saying they don't want you gone for more than 15 minutes so you can't see how junky these cars really are!! 15 minutes isn't enough time for the engine to even fully heat up therefore a 15 ride isn't going to show you any problems keep your junk ppl id rather put the money into the car I already own but bottom line if they don't want you gone for more than 15 minutes they should tell you that when they hand you the keys

Every car on the lot is sold as is. Meaning each one has a problem with it. They really don t advertise this and they seem to have no desire to tell anyone. I wouldn t call it a scam but I wouldn t say it s much better than a scam

After I was there to look at a car, I didn't finish the paperwork due to having to leave for work. When I went back to retrieve my ID and SS number that they never gave back to me, the doors were mysteriously locked and no one was there. Then I got a charge on my card for something that I didn't buy so I called my bank that this was fraud. They stole my identity and I have to get a new SS card and ID now cause they're the sketches dealership ever. I will not be buying any vehicles from him and let everyone know of the fraud and notify the police.

I'm so disappointed with my car I got from them only 2 months of purchasing I put over 2,000 in labor into this vehicle they sold me a vehicle with the rare brakes done wrong I could of died, the brakes were put into the caliper wrong which caused them to sit on the rotor.. Heat stopped working after a few weeks which came to 730$, in labor I will never purchase a car from ever again they need shut down they don't even have a mechanical garage on property.

Bought a car from these schemers October 2023 by December of 2023 not even 2 months of driving it I've put 1,160 into this lemon on top of that my brakes are now grinding after 1 month of driving, I was given a paper stating sold as is "lemon law is not legal for used cars" which is a lie lemon law was made for used cars.. So I am in the process of investing this matter with my attorney as well as lemon law

My girlfriend bought a jeep from here it only ran long enough to bring it home. Never moved again. They sale junk! Beware. Do not buy from here you will most likely regret it. This review is coming in late as this was a year or more ago but this review is long over due! We re in the market for a car again but wouldn t even consider going to LBSI. Half the cars we wanted to test drive were not even drivable. Flat tires and dead batteries. Most uninspected just terrible terrible cars. Once we finally paid the car off that never ran they said we had to bring it in to have the tracker removed before they would give us the title but the car couldn t make it down the block let alone to uniontown we fought them for over a week before they finally said okay they would ship the title. They were great at taking our money but overall worst experience of our life

Shady people. Purchased a car from them and the 3rd time driving it something exploded under the hood (oil) and the whole part fell out. They didn t make it right. They say as is . They rigged the vehicle so it s drivable off the lot then you re screwed

Just bought a car from here on a cash sale. I've already finished the process and providing the payment, but the car needs a new battery. They're such wonderful people that they are putting a new battery in it for free! Karen was lovely to do business with; she was kind, polite, and very honest & straightforward. I highly recommend this business if you're looking for a used car. I'm on a budget and I found a really nice car, especially within my budget.

Just bought a vehicle from here on April 17, 2017. Great deal! Quick and easy. I took the vehicle for a test drive and liked how it ran. I paid in full and did not use their finance option (However, from what I saw, that would have been an affordable deal as well). There was a very wide variety (Cars, Trucks, Vans, SUVs) to choose from. Their web sight was extremely helpful! I really liked that the prices are posted on the website as well as on the vehicles!I will most certainly return here for my next purchase!I read the bad review posted here, and I must say, these ARE used vehicles and they are very inexpensive. You should expect some issues, however, if you take your time, do your research, ask questions, LBSI is a great place for an affordable, good running vehicle. They answered my questions to the best of their knowledge.

Don't shop there if you don't know about cars! Most vehicles there are way overpriced. A lot of them are rusted out JUNK, too. Some I've looked at were actually unsafe and belonged in the junk yard. There are occasionally a few decent deals there at times, though.I lucked out with the Chevy truck I bought there, but I have experience working on vehicles and knew what I was looking at. It happened to be on sale, which made the price reasonable. The battery was dead when I went to test drive it, but they jumped it and put a new one in it when I decided I wanted it.

I went there yesterday and was assisted by Karen and she made everything so easy I test drove more than one car because I really didn't know exactly what I wanted. She was OK with me taking the car I wanted to my own personal mechanic to look at. It was cold but she was calm and not rushing anything. The best customer service I could ever ask for she was more than helpful. She was more like a friend and I felt I could trust her. Definitely recommend going cars are great and very cheap. I'm happy to say I got the truck I fell in love with and it isn't going to break the bank. Thank you Lbsi and your wonderful worker.

Drove 2 hours to look at a truck that was described as looks and runs great find out it had a pretty good miss in the engine and a vibration at 40 miles an hour so I asked if they knew what was wrong with it. Because in all honesty if it wasn't more than 1000 to $1,500 to fix I would have bought the truck regardless they couldn't give me an answer and couldn't find a mechanic to let me know which was very disappointing however the secretary in the office was very helpful

They have a large variety of vehicles available for purchase. I found one that I liked, test drove it and ran a carfax report. Nothing about it's condition was represented to me at all. I paid cash and we were able to arrive at what I considered to be a fair price.Vehicles here are sold AS IS. Do your homework. You can get a good deal, but you are completely responsible for what you buy. The employees are courteous and the sale was completed quickly and easily. I would definitely buy from here again.

HORRIBLE PLACE!!! I called on a Monday and talk to a guy and told him that I wanted to look at a vehicle that he said was available and I told him Wednesday at 4 I'd be there. I live over an hour away to go look and possibly buy this vehicle and I go in on Wednesday at 4 and he told me that it was sold that morning. Not even a phone call, text, or email saying that it was sold. Over 2 hours of driving and gas spent for nothing.

If you enjoy buying a car that has more rust than actual metal this place is for you. Might occasionally get a decent car but make sure you check underneath as most of the inventory seems to have been recovered from the bottom of the ocean. I wasn't aware it was even legal to sell cars in such condition. A large percentage of their inventory would not pass inspection. I would only purchase if a trusted mechanic goes over the vehicle.

If you want a lawn ornament, this is the place to go. I went to the lot today with my mother, first we looked at one van (no one knew anything about any of the vehicles). The 1st van didn t start, wouldn t even turn over. The gentleman was gonna jump it with a battery pack but I asked to see a similar van instead. This van did start, but when I pulled forward the brakes started making noise. While on the test drive he started saying it ran good... at this point my mother notices that the inspection sticker expired in January of 2016. He said they wouldn t inspect it and I d have to get brakes for it to pass...then at a stoplight we start to hear the engine miss bad! The man said oh yea, it is missing, but they are flexible with the price. Then, the engine warning light came on and my mother told me to just drive it back to the lot. At this point we were all a little frustrated so I asked about a 3rd vehicle despite my experience so far. They have a Maroon Ford Explorer so I asked about it. The owner said he didn t know anything about the vehicle because he never drove it. So I go to take it on a test drive and the battery was completely dead and wouldn t start! The guy jumped it, closed the hood and once started I could hear a loud sound coming from behind the dashboard. As he was putting dealer plates on it, it broke down! We told them we didn t want to see anything else and just left.No one had any knowledge of the cars at all so shopping was like shooting in the dark. I have no idea how they come up with their prices, but for something that is 1,500$ down, it shouldn t break down on the test drive (in the lot).3/3 vehicles wouldn t even make it a mile off the lot (one wouldn t even start).Do NOT go here, I would hate to have someone buy a lemon and be stuck with a payment. Buyers beware!Have a blessed day!

I am a young teenager that just graduated and i need a car to get to work and back in. They had an ad selling a nice looking Chevy SUV, so I picked it up for $1200. Took it for a test drive, no significant problems with the car. I then proceeded to buy the car in cash (all the money I ve saved up in the last year) and I drove off with my brand new car. 10 miles down the highway was a traffic light, and it was my turn to stop. As the light turned green, I gassed it. Nothing. The car stalled out on me. Had to get the thing towed which costed pretty much whatever I had left in my bank account. Now I m broke and I don t know what to do.

Dealer is full of it. Sold me a GMC Acadia with timing chain problems & catalytic converter problems . Brought the car in June drove it home . And that was the last time called to see if we could work something out Taylor the seller keeps giving me the run around . Told me out his own mouth they don t have a mechanic to look at all the cars if they did all cars on the lot wouldn t have no problems. They just want the money cars are not worth it.

The only reason I'm even giving one star is because I had to in order to review.I saw a relatively nice Ford Taurus on their website and since we were selling our car, I like figured we'd go look at it. I explained to the owner that my husband and I are expecting in a few weeks and need a nice, reliable and family size vehicle. He was a total jerk. He wanted in no way to help me or give me any information on the car. I went to test drive the Taurus (2006 one) and it barely start and the check engine light was on. Red flag already. Gas tank was empty and the exhaust sounded like it was falling off. I didn't feel safe in it at all. I went back in and told him and he said it's probably just an exhaust leak. Both cars I've previously owned had exhaust problems where the whole thing needed replaced and this is what it sounded like. Don't act like I don't know anything. He never even offered to go out and look it over with me or try to work anything out with me and I was very nice about it how can you expect someone to pay 2,000 for a car that is going to need all that work? They need to work on their people skills and better look over their cars. I would never put my life at risk in a vehicle like that, let alone my newborn. Very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.Edit: I know old, used cars aren't perfect but this was a 2006 with only 94,000 miles on it. But he had no explanation on why it was inspected, yet the engine light was on and there was clearly something wrong with the exhaust. I didn't expect a perfect car, but I did expect professional people that would take the time to work with me.

They have a variety of cars. My fiance and I went drove here and it took us about an hour and a half to look at vehicles that went up in price within an hour after we left. The cars here looks as if they will only be good for about a week or two. Not in good condition. Especially for the price of 4,000 and up
