Billie the owner was great. I called in the afternoon for an oil change and he got me in same day.. I had to wait little while as they were unexpectedly backed up but I expected that and was prepared. I was happy to get it done the same day I called. Price was better than expected too!

I had an extremely positive experience! My inspection was overdue, and I was able to get an appointment for the next day! Billy was super friendly and helpful! I will definitely recommend to others based on this experience. Thank you for such an easy, pleasant transition! :)

Fantastic service! I was in last weekend for an oil change and to have my heater fixed. The guys worked for hours to figure out what was wrong with it and they were able to fix it for a minimal cost. Billy is super friendly, very kind and explained everything. Thanks guys! We will most certainly be back!

This is a great garage! Chris and the guys are very nice ! They go above and beyond to answer all your questions. I felt like I was at a friends shop and not a corporate shop. It was very refreshing to be like a friend not a customer. I would send my mother to them with full confidence! Thank You for the great service. I have found my mechanics!

Always love coming here, they give me great service and great deals! And today they even saved me money by showing me that my brakes were safe to pass inspection whereas the Hyundai dealer tried to tell me they wouldn t. I highly recommend coming here for all vehicle maintenance, I love all of the workers , Billy and his staff are great and it s a great experience! They always get me in quick and out quick and the show room is clean and a comfortable place to wait ! - Lindsay

Very fast and friendly service. As a 20 year old girl, I m always very unsure about going by myself to any appointment involving my car. Especially because I ve only ever heard things like, They ll take advantage of you because you re a girl! However, Billy was very honest all while being incredibly helpful in explaining what they were doing and why. That s something that I can really appreciate. First impressions really are everything, and I truly believe that he does his job, and he does his job well. With all of that being said, I highly recommend going here.

4/24/19 This was a wonderful experience today at Monroe muffler in Tunkhannock. Billy and the guys are very pleasant, honest, and they definitely know what they're doing. They definitely saved me a lot of money and headaches from the dealership. They got me in the shop asap after I called and told Billy what was happening. I felt so comfortable with this visit. I'll definitely be coming back. Even if it's just to visit everyone. I'd Absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Easy and convenient appointment scheduling. Billy is amazing at being straight-forward and direct with your car needs. Will actually take the time to show you what you need done to ensure your safety and longevity of your car. Comfortable place to sit and wait and while car is taken care of. Overall really great place to come for everything minor and major.

Dave and Larry always do an excellent job on my vehicles!!! They are very flexible to fit to your schedule and seem to find time to work on your vehicle even if they are swamped! I trust them 100% knowing that when I return my car is safe and fixed the right way! Between Dave s years of auto experience and Larry s diagnostics to fix any issue, these 2 mechanical gurus can solve any problem at hand! Prices are affordable and the turn-around time for completion is fast! Thank you guys for your hard-work and dedication each and every day!

Needed shocks and fix on exhaust. Billy was pleasant, and it was a good experience. Dave is a great mechanic, and knows what he is doing. So all in all I think I will return, because it is a good shop, clean. Overall they deserve a 5 star rating.

UPDATE 12/1/2020: Billy has moved on and I'll miss him here but Dave and Larry are here and have tremendous knowledge on maintenance. Chris is the new manager and he is down to earth and just as cool as Billy. He is very knowledgeable about repairs and maintenance too. I highly recommend coming here for your maintenance and repairs. If you have warranty services, they work with those companies too. 100% Respect.UPDATE 3/14/19: I needed to take my car back for some more repairs and the Tunkhannock team was awesome yet again. It's a regular thing for Billy and this team to excel at customer service and to basically bring it. 100% still recommend them.Billy and the Tunkhannock team are top notch 100%. I called up today asking about belts because I know very little about cars and was worried about my timing belt. Billy told me to bring it in and because of the knowledge and super awesome customer service I got tires too. There wasn't any tricks and I felt extremely comfortable. Billy put my mind at ease when it came to questions about the status of my car and assured me it's all good. I always recommend Monro to friends for some good deals, timely repairs, and customer service but I will start to tell them about Billy who has been a stellar addition to this branch. Respect.

Stopped in today for an oil change, basic request. Upon checking things out, I needed 2 tires. I knew I have been needing them for awhile. Billy worked to find the right tires for me! Cost was great, costumer service was great, even Mike in the shop was great and played great tunes! I will be back again. Being it was a chilly morning, a coffee station would have been ideal

I was on a trip from PA back to VA when my car broke, I pulled into the parking lot and walked inside, was greeted by Shawn who immediately had my car taken into one of the bays to be looked at. He tried to get it fixed the same day but due to no fault of his own it couldn't get completely fixed until the next day. I would highly recommend anyone to go here for any of their automotive needs. Honest and fair prices, and speedy workmanship that anyone would be proud of, if and when I am in PA again and need my car fixed I will bring it back here asap.

This will always be the place I go for my car. The customer service goes above and beyond any expectations. All the guys I came encounter with were amazing. Billy, the super cool white guy is who stood out the most. Paul was wonderful too.

Going to a garage is always nerve racking for me. But the Monro manager, and staff were so helpful. They took time to explain the issues to me, elaborated all solutions (& which would be more cost effective, because raising 3 kids, you gotta count your pennies)The environment was super relaxed and comfortable, the information was plentiful, and the help was STELLAR! Definitely going to have my business, in the future.Thank you so much Monro! I appreciate all your help :)Props to Billy! He literally saved me a lot of tears when he explained such things to me, in a way I could understand! You're a vital part of the store Billy!

Billy was very friendly! He was upfront about my car taking synthetic oil, which was more expensive, and didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. I will definitely be going back to Monroe in the future & will recommend them to anyone!

Billy (William) and workers were fantastic!! No b.s. kind of people no run arounds and no trying to sell you things that your car doesn't need! This was my first experience with them but it definitely will not be my last! Thanks guys. The other customer I spoke with while there has been coming there for a long time and she says it's because she trusts them. Hard to find people and businesses like that this day and age. Give it a try any you will see.

Excellent and quick service. Billy was very friendly and welcoming to us. Whatever you re paying this guy, it should be more. He was great. We have been there in the past, and it has certainly improved. We will be coming back in the future.

After a terrible Monday, I walked out to my car and found a screw in the tire. I desperately called and they said they would get a plug in that night and to come right over. Billy had a full garage and kept telling me over and over, Don t worry, we will get your car in tonight. Sorry for the wait. I didn t mind at all though because I knew they were doing me a huge favor. They were able to finally get my car in, even though they were technically closed for the night, and checked over my tires. I cannot tell you how thankful I was for their kindness and exceptional customer service. Anywhere else probably would have told me, no, but Billy stayed open and made sure my tires were good to go.

The crew here is extremely polite and professional. They perform their work flawlessly and efficiently. They are also extremely accommodating for short notice. If you're from out of town like I am, know these guys will get you taken care of. Highly recommend.

If you are in need of service, these are the guys... I was in a bind with my tires having run over something, needing to get my dad to the VA hospital for an early morning appointment. After being turned away by a close-by shop, they instead graciously helped me before close. I am grateful and appreciate the kindness 100 times over! Come see these great folks!

Went to Tire Choice in Tunkhannock to buy tires. Was greeted by a new manager named Shawn. So sweet and friendly. Fast service. Have been coming here for years. Dave has been my mechanic for years. Glad to see tire choice being ran with a manager that knows what he is doing.
