Absolutely terrible.Made an appointment to get two tires on. After a 90-minute wait, they canceled my installation appointment and then came out and told me that they couldn t get the lug nuts off. From other reviews, it seems like that s a usual thing here. And I find that difficult to believe considering I, a 5 1 girl in her 20s, was the one to put them on. So I left with the tires and will put them on myself.I got in my vehicle afterwards and felt my steering wheel - they had scraped up the leather on the wheel! It s difficult to see, but you can feel the texture difference and can feel the untreated leather underneath (it s almost sticky). The scratch is right where I put my hand. When I alerted the employees of what happened, they took a look at it and just said sorry . Considering filing a small claim but I don t even know if it s worth it.What a ridiculous waste of a weekday morning right before Christmas.

Horrible. Don t come here. Ordered a tire a week ago for a flat and scheduled an appointment to have it put on. Upon arrival, they told us they canceled our appointment without notifying us. Didn t give a reason for this. We stayed because we didn t want to drive on the donut. Then they put us at the end of the line to have the tire put on. Waiting 2.5 hours past our appointment time just for a single tire change.

I don't usually write reviews but thought this was just over the top bad customer service-this is only the second time I have ordered from their website, but not the first time I got tires from them. I ordered the tires on their website because they only had either the cheapest low quality or the highest cost in store. Paid for the tires and installation online and scheduled my appt. The day before my appt. I called and confirmed that they received my tires and they told me that they had and confirmed my appt. time. About 15 min before my appt. I get a text that my appt. was cancelled, I tried to call and they did not pick up the phone. I get there and explain the situation to the young guy there and he said the system showed that they arrived but they can not find them anywhere. He told me there is nothing more he can do and to call the Walmart customer service number to try and get it fixed because they can't track them since it shows they received them at the store. I called them and asked if they can just have the order reshipped to the store or even my house so they I know for sure they arrive and they told me that it was not possible since the store is showing they received them. I asked if they could possibly just call the store and give them the okay to give me tires that they have in stock and I'll pay the difference but maybe with a slight customer service discount and again they said not possible. They then told me they can issue a refund but that it will take 10 business days to receive and they can not process it faster than that. I had used gift cards for a partial payment and they told me those would be refund onto the walmart wallet and would have to be used online and can not be used in store and the rest would be sent to their billing for refund. I asked them if they can issue an E-gift card and send me it in email so I can at least use in store for groceries and again they told me no and that I will have to use it online, like I will trust their online ordering again. 10 out of 10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND trusting their process and shipping and think that their "Customer Service" ,and I use that term loosely, is sorely lacking!

I drove out to get an oil change, nobody showed up for work that day so the auto center was closed. Called the next morning, they said they were open and to come on in. I drive out there and they say they re booked for the day and can t take me. I make an appointment for the next day at 11 am. I drive out for the 3rd time and get signed in before 11, lol hey didn t even start working on my car till 12. I get a text my car is done and nobody comes out to check me out for 10 minutes. Then I get this worker who huffed and puffed because he had to do his job. I couldn t even believe how terrible the service was. Never again

Walmart really stinks for buying tires. The prices are OK, but try to make an appointment to get your tires rotated; Walmart doesn t make an appointment for tire rotation. When you show up in person, they re always busy and don t have time because other people have made appointments for other items.

Good service and friendly people that word there and do their best to help when able. Called a lot and got no response but when I went in the manager explained how they ve been short staffed and it s difficult to be able to manage everything but once they explained everything I can tell their doing their best to provide quality service and be as helpful as possible. Very helpful guy and knowledgable. With such short staffing the wait can sometimes take awhile but it s followed by the peace of mind that things are going to be done right. And reassurance that once the shop is fully staffed again the regular business hours will return! A little understanding goes a long way! Will definitely be returning for future work that needs done.

They do not answer the phone. And take a long time when you do get service. And I had signed up for service online and it said the parts, tires, were in stock and ready then I got a cancellation email saying my apt was cancelled due to not having items in stock. Go elsewhere especially if you need tires. They are cheap but you have to deal with sososo much.

The wait time was a hour longer than what they told me. I told the manager that if it wasn't ready at the time that he told me, then I would need to leave. They did not bring my car out when I asked them to. Just an FYI, if you need it done by a certain time, they will just lie to get you to leave your car. The work being done was fixing what they screwed up the last time that I took my car there.

This place is a joke, called on a Monday like 50 times and no one answers the phone, i then show up in person to get 4 tires installed and the 2 guys working the tire center say they are closed due to staffing issues which i understand but i said well it would be NICE TO ANSWER YOUR PHONE AND TELL ME THAT BEFORE I DRIVE HERE! If your closed for the day, have some common sense and have a automated voicemail setup stating that.... Poorly run establishment.

Mikey the mechanic is a little weirdo and tried flirting with my girlfriend while doing my brakes. He should probably stick to doing his job rather than trying to take peoples girlfriends.

Walmart Auto Care Center is a great place to go for basic maintenance such as oil changes, tire installmen, balance and rotation, and more. The prices are super affordable! I got my tires installed for about half the price here than I would've paid at a mechanic shop. They even offer road hazard warranties on the tires as well as free balance and rotation for the life of the tires. They have great prices for oil too! They did a great job and they were super fast and efficient. I highly recommend their services. Thank you so much! I will be back for my oil change and balance rotation!

They are always understaffed and unless you want to wait over 3 hours for something like an oil change or single tire replacement - I would suggest going as soon as they open to get in and out in less than an hour. Their prices are fair and they do offer a variety of services but don t expect consistent service. One day I watched a mechanic take someone s keys to go check the customer s car out. There was already a line of customers waiting for service. He then proceeded to walk to where his fellow mechanic was chatting with a young woman outside in the lot where he then too joined them and then close to 30 minutes later (I know because I timed him) then go to the customers car for maybe 10 seconds and then come in and had them sign for the oil change they came in for.And then there are other times I walk in and get what I need and I m out again feeling as if I the customer matters.

The elderly gentleman at the register was NOT friendly at all, infact I think he hates his job and people in general, I came in during the week for an oil change, and the crabby man said, " we have an appointment at 11 and then they are going to lunch" and did not offer to fit me in at a later time, mumbling stuff I could not hear what he said, this is not the first time I dealt with this at the Pgh Mills Walmart, but I can tell you it is the last. If you read this review please encourage the elderly crabby man at the Automotive register to retire, he's ready.

Went in for an oil change had to come out with a coolant tube broken and coolant leaked into the cars oil tank. 10/10 would not recommend this place, save yourself time and money and just take your car somewhere better please. The only nice thing was they paid for the tow truckService: Oil changeService: Oil change

A belt in my tire snapped late Saturday afternoon on a long road trip. They were efficient, friendly, and able to take us in right away. 4 new tires installed and balanced in under an hour. Bonus points for lady mechanic, too. With big chain stores I guess a lot depends on who you get - everyone we interacted with here was great.

Hello , This Walmart Tire is a good store ... Nice people and lots of tires to pick from. Went there for flat repair and it turned out int was a split valve .. Had to have tire broken down and valve assembly replaced.. Could have been really bad if valve had snapped off. Had to wait an hour and 45 minutes, because of a couple of people ahead. Changing tires takes a little time. All good now . Road hazard covered repair.. remember hours are restricted 12 to 6... You need something , get there early. The only issue was in Walmart , there is no place to sit now ... All benches are gone .. So after shopping and taking stuff to car , we just sat in car till they came . Could not stand any longer , sore hips... Only took about 20 min to fix .. hope this helps , God Bless, keith..

Want there to set up an appointment for tire balance and rotation, said it was going to be a little wait being they were short staffed, but it wasn't long at all. Got me in and out within the hour!

The wait was extra long due to them only having one associate working in auto at all time that can work on cars. They were nice to me but I could hear them insulting other customers

Dropped a tire off that was already off my car to get another one put on my rim. They said 2 1/2 hrs. Unreasonable time. There was not more then 2-3 people in front of me. Came back over 2 hrs later still no phone call. All the auto clerks lounging outside and talking on there phones. Still no tire. Over 2 1/2 to do a 10mn job. Ridiculous.

I came in at 6:22pm needing a tire plugged which is about 5 minutes to complete, I stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes before someone came out of the back to help me just to be told that they were too busy to plug my Tire but to come back tomorrow. They were open until 7pm I thought it was good customer service to help customers up until time to close. Oh well I just drove it to the nearest Advance Auto and bought a plug set and repaired it in their parking lot, it literally took 3 minutes of my time, way to drop the ball walmart automotive service center YOU SUCK!

I got there at 6:10 not a car around and they closed at 7pm. He said ugh we are like closed Closing 50 minutes early because you didn t want to do a pit oil change. (The cheapest fastest option was too much work.)

Don't order tires online from here, they will literally NOT hold them for your appointment, and sell them to someone else.

I bought new tires, great price and great service they were fast, thorough and clean, valve cores were replaced, almost $100 cheaper than other places I checked with the same tires

It's a Walmart tire center so I'm not expecting much already but this one is even worse than that. I've taken my car there 3 times and never actually gotten it worked on. Twice they told me 1 hour and 45 minutes. The last time they said they couldn't do my oil change before they closed. It was 5 30 they close at 7

I will never visit this location again. Arrived before the center was scheduled to open at 7am, because it is first come first serve. However, the doors did not open until after 7 by a service department representative who did not seem eager to do so. The customer in front of me did his homework and knew exactly what he wanted. Despite his efforts, the representative not only failed to listen to the customer, but moved very slowly (I mean, shuffling at a snail's pace) to get his vehicle set up. Twelve minutes later, it was my turn and was greeted with what seemed to me as nothing short of annoyance. I explained I had a flat tire and was looking for a repair, but would be more than willing to invest in a new tire or 2 if he thought that would be better for my vehicle. He went to my car and wrote down the tire size, then physically checked his tire inventory for confirmation on size. This was not on the computer, he was actually looking at the tires in front of him. He said he only had one tire that size and I said that works for me. He took down my information and said, "Okay, I'll see you soon." For clarification, I asked, "How long do you think before you get to it...just so I can make arrangements with my work." He assured me it would be no more than an hour. So, 1 hour and 45 minutes later, they were ready to begin. I was cool with that, because life's unpredictable. My car was brought into the garage and the "real" technician came out and said he could not repair the tire and that they did not have that size in stock. The original representative moseyed on over and said, "Oh yeah, we don't have that size in stock. I guess I misread the label." They then proceeded to tell me that Sam's Club (next door) did have that size, but I would have to sign up/pay for a membership beforehand. Keep in mind, all I wanted was one (maybe two) good tires. I asked (in light of the circumstances) could they get the tire from there and I would pay full price? I went on to explain that I already spent 2 hours there under the expectation and trust that the staff were experts, so I'm trying to create a solution that works best for us both. They said they could not help me, but proceeded to explain how I could fix the tire myself...which is information I could've picked up on YouTube if my goal was to do it myself. Anyway, I walked outside and from the parking lot called Midas. The representative said that their schedule was already booked for the day. After hearing my unfortunate experience, they wanted to do whatever they could to save my day. Two hours later...I had a professionally repaired tire (yes, they were expert enough to repair not replace) and finally got the level of service all customers deserve. Moral to the story. If you feel your time is valuable and care about your vehicle, don't settle for anything less than relying on expert technicians. You don't have to look to Midas, just look away from Wal-Mart.

I needed my tires replaced and looked online to see their hours and it said 12:00am - 11:59pm. So I got there at 5:30 and they were closed. I checked my smart phone to be sure that I was at the right place and read the right site, and it said every day,12:00am - 11:59pm. They need to show their real hours because I'm sure that I am not the only one who ran into this problem.

Staff was kind and professional. The 3.5 Hr wait was a excessive though. Just to get four tire's mounted and balanced. Definitely going too make a appointment next time.

I am very happy with the work done from Luke and the service team. They fixed an error from another mechanic that had put the wrong oil in my car and filled it to the top. They were fast, knowledgeable and gave great customer service. I am thankful they were able to fix the error before any serious damage was done!

4 guys standing around doing nothing, 3 hour wait time for an oil change. It s definitely the slowest place around, after I wait two hours the guy comes out and tells me he doesn t have the tool he needs to do my specific car. It s ridiculous. Don t waste your time, go somewhere else.
