I was referred to Jake's by a friend and I wasn't disappointed. He is a really nice guy, who communicates well with what is going on with your vehicle, and without pressing you to do unnecessary things.I always have mechanic friends look over my vehicle before taking it in anywhere to make sure I don't get ripped off. He did not even try.Jake's prices are more than fair and he listed exactly what I already knew, that was wrong with my vehicle. That means a lot to me and I appreciate it! I would definitely recommend this place!

Many other shops had long wait lists so I decided to give this place a try. I was able to get my cars brakes checked within 2 days of calling. They were very friendly and honest with what they saw. I would definitely go back again.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Very knowledgeable when you take your car there they will take the time to explain what it needs and they will get it done in a timely manner I own three cars I take all of them to Jake's brakes Auto service I like how they run their shop I don't have to worry when I drive away from their shop I know my car was fixed right the first time

I needed brakes a month or so back & found this place on Google. I called & got an appointment & dropped my car off on a Sunday night. He called me with the estimated price the next morning & I was happy with the price. He let me know what else I would need for inspection & broke it down for me into a couple visits. I was happy. But then I went to pick up my car Monday afternoon and I could not have been HAPPIER OR MORE SURPRISED. There had been an issue when taking my brakes off or something, no fault of his, knew it would need done but hoping to wait another 2 weeks. But he replaced the broken parts then because it had to be done. But he managed to work the price out to not change at all. Incredible. Anywhere else would have raised the price not only just for the cost of the parts but also for the extra labor. Jake held to the price he told me. So impressed that I went back for more work and still just as HAPPY. Have handed out his card to multiple people. This is a wonderful place with good honest owners. I would give more stars if possible. Thank you Jake's Brakes.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. They communicate about what they find wrong with your vehicle , and will explain and show you the issues they find. Good diagnostic work , and quick with the repairs. Some of the best work and prices around

Jake's break's is truly a respectable garage to get work done on your car or truck! The estimate was given to me a couple weeks prior to having the work done, and he actually stuck to his estimate!

My good friend referred me to this place to fix my car that broke down and was having trouble. I am so glad she did! They were very polite, very quick with repairs and very reasonable with cost. I will absolutely be back for future car needs!

Called around to several places for full brake pads and rotors prior to trying these guys. They were much more transparent on prices, and had the lowest prices as well. Plus they were much more friendly on the phone. Brothers Jake and Tony seem like great guys and I was super happy with them and their business. Will definitely use them in the future for anything mechanical. Only 15 min from Gibsonia, so worth the short drive. Highly recommend.Service: Brakes

Awesome service. Was having an idling issue and some power steering trouble. They got it fixed up good as new on a reasonable time, and it came in a few bucks under what they quoted me. Definitely coming back for inspection in April

Professional service, very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Jake's Brakes. They are the only place I will take any of my vehicles to get repaired. Took my 05 Mercury Mariner there to have oil change, wheel bearing, tie rods, and ball joints done . Took my 09 Jeep Grand Cherokee to them with no AC. Turns out my evapotor was clogged and leaking quite badly. Rather extensive job to do. They took on the job rather quickly and pulled the entire dashboard out of the Jeep to repair it. I was thankful for how quick they got it in because it was almost 100� during the day. It's been a couple of months and I haven't had a single problem with it. It works so well. These guys know their stuff. Highly recommendServices: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

Brought my Journey in for an oil change and received top notch service. I was treated with respect and never pressured into extras. I d definitely recommend and will absolutely be returning for all future mechanic needs!

If you need a place to get your car worked on by people you can trust this is the place! In my opinion, it is always better to go to private owned shops than going to big name chain shops where you have a chance of getting charged an arm and a leg.

Put a new exhaust on my car, and put it on WRONG causing a pipe to burn through my heat shield and burn a hole through my gas tank. Refuses to reimburse me for my gas tank. Wouldn t recommend, very non-professional. If you don t know how to do a job, simply don t do it.
