Sorry it has taken me so long to write this review. I have been doing business here almost two years. The service writers Dylan & Dustin always recommend great products, and never recommend anything that isn t necessary. The technicians are not commissioned, so they don t sell you brakes, tires, filters or wiper blades unless they should be replaced. Please don t hesitate to make Cal s your regular service center.

Took my car to another shop and they didn t get my repairs done in 3 months, but Cal s got my car back up and running within weeks and they fixed everything wrong with my car, small and big! Highly recommend.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Cals since he opened. I would not go any where else for service. If you want your car to be fixed correctly and I repeat the word correctly this is the place.

Great support and service!Cal's saved our family trip driving through PA when we blew our tire. Fixed quickly and at a very reasonable price. Great people!

I really appreciate Cal's!! I am not a regular customer nor do I live in the area. I live in Scranton and was taking my grandsons to their home in Tamaqua. We were backed up in an accident on 81 for two and a half hours and my low tire pressure indicator came on. I got my grandsons safely home and called Cal's and asked if they would be able to check my tires. The gentleman I talked to said to come right up. My tires were fine except for the left rear where I had hit a nail. Cal's plugged it and calibrated my tires and made sure the hole was sealed. Cal's was very busy the day that I took my car in but took the time to help me. I can never thank you enough!

Amazing and kind people. The best price for quality work. I cannot recommend them more. They're honest, fair and good folk that work there. I will never go anywhere else but Cals.

Got a flat tire Memorial Day weekend while out of town in Tamaqua. Stumbled across this shop on google and they were excellent. Courteous employees, quick & inexpensive repair and I was back on the road. Thank you Cals!

We had a flat on 81 on the outbound side of a weekend trip. Cal s folks were a wonderful help in getting us safe and back on the road. I was so impressed with their friendly approach even though they were swamped. Bravo and thanks, Cal s...you have to be one of the best service centers in the country.

Had a bad rattling sound. They got me in quick, found and fixed the problem. Great people. Quality service. Better service than at the dealership where I purchased the vehicle.

I had a few things that needed to be done on my car such as: tire rotation and balancing, alignment check, and inspection. My wait was only 40 minutes. I couldn't ask for better service. Without my even asking, they even took the time to give me the rundown of the details of what they found with my car and what work they did.I've heard some locals say that they cost a little bit more to do business with. I don't think so at all. I think their work is reasonably priced for the smooth service that they give. I have had past experiences that went just as well as this one. I will keep coming back.

Fantastic service and really nice folks! I had a brake issue on Friday night and they squeezed me in Saturday AM, fixed the issue and got me back on the road. Thank you to everyone at Cal's, also a very friendly dog at the shop gets bonus points.

I am not one to trust shops with my vehicles but I have to say this place is impressive, I have had work done with both of my vehicles here,from mechanical work down to inspection and they have both been done in a timely manner but done with great work! He has been honest about possible other issues and i think his pricing is fair and not racked up like other shops ive used. I just have nothing bad to say thus far this place has been great and I will continue to only take my vehicles here if need be!

I had a screw in my tire and they took me right in and patched it and plugged it. Good as new.

LOVE THIS PLACE . Always so nice. They always have the brightest smiles even when you can tell how rough of a day it has been. The service given is awesome as well. They tell you upfront what they can tell you. Nothing is sugar coated and they do their best for the client. I WILL NOT be going anywhere else!

My car was making a knocking sound and found out I needed a ball joint, a control arm, and then needed a sway bar link. Also tires and an alignment. Cals was absolutely awesome! Employees are kind whenever you call/visit! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic service and compassion. Our car was towed in from I81 with pothole damage to tires and rims.Cal and his employees were very caring and comforting to our issues and went out of their way to help us . We will never forget their kindness.

Customer since 2008, trustworthy and great at first, but 300+ for the follow through service 4 me. Bought pair of xice and several all season tires, $$$ brake service, $$$2X fuel pump replacements, ball joints, front end and rear end alignment that required more than the manufacturer built adjustment and not worth the extra money. Cal rebuilt my car transmission for mechanics oops, no charge, so they can be competent. I guess my older cars are a challenge.

Excellent service. My technition explained everything to me. My husband has been changing my head lights for me, but they burned out. Here it was the electrical plug. Who would think the winter salt would get up in there. Always professional and the absolute best place to take my car for over 30 years.

Amazing people they got us in quickly they fixed our tire gave us excellent information saved us hundreds of dollars and were so polite and they saved my trip to see my daughter.

First and last time there! I took my truck in th have the check engine light scanned.($30 charge). After sitting in the waiting room for an hour and 20 minutes,I was informed that they scanned a misfire but could not identify the problem. Even though I already had it scanned at anther shop( no charge) and knew what the problem was! I asked them to test drive it and see for themselves how it was running. 40 minutes later I was handed a bill for $190 and a new installed fuel filter that they didn't ask me if wanted them to do the work. Needless to say , they calculate their labor charge from rhe time of your appointment to the time you pay the bill. Did I mention that the truck wasn't pulled in the shop until 1:15pm. I understand how business needs to be run but no one should have pay $120 labor for 10 miutes of work!

Had a tire plugged, they were good. Very busy place as many of our local tire shops have closed shop. Would definitely recommend that you get an appointment as they have taken all the overflow from at least 3 other shops.

Cals charged my air conditioner in my jeep liberty. The quoted price was about $80 to do that. I needed a sensor of sorts that cost 12.50 at Auto Zone. I had no problem paying $25 for the part. I understand there s a mark up. However, I don t believe $276 was an appropriate price to pay to charge an air conditioner with a sensor. I should not have been charged for the entire time it took AutoZone to deliver parts for the vehicle. The garage clearly was not working on the jeep for hours to charge an air-conditioner. I will never take my vehicle to this shop again. Price manipulators.

They take care of my sons car as I am in Florida...they appear to be fair and straightforward and don't try to take advantage of my son(he is 18) ....they did tires and alignment today and price was very fair....thanks

Very professional, yet personal. Got a second opinion from them after being suspected of being overestimated by Jack Williams (I'm not even a pretty girl). Cal's did the job for about half of Jack Williams' estimate. Thankfully not all auto services are scum.

The staff at Cal's is the best. Friendly, fast service, and a great place to get tires. Far superior to the dealership. I go to Cal's for everything automotive.

Very friendly staff, quick and easy visit. The secretary helped me to get a hold of my insurance company in 5 minutes, while I struggled for 30. Will definitely make more visits when in need.

Beyond amazing service!!!! We ended up there from our car being eaten on I81.... They took us in, got us what we needed, as quick and as cheap as possible. Amazing family feel service!! Thank you!!

I have been utilizing cal's auto since the beginning and through many vehicles and many problems large and small I have always been satisfied. I've had many opportunities to get service elsewhere and have always relied on Cal his men and Carol.

The best auto mechanics I have ever went to. They are very nice and courteous. Prices are very reasonable and quality of work is excellent.
