My general rule is the smaller and older looking the shop, the better the experience. I was right again when I decided to pull into this place. Quick service and a great price on 4 used tires in good condition mounted and balanced. Clean waiting room, friendly crew working there.

My girlfriend, both of my kids and myself all go to 9th Street to get any work done on our vehicles. They are very knowledgeable and fair priced as well.

Was in the area on vacation and my Tire Pressure light came on. The hosts at my Bed and Breakfast recommended them and they were wonderful!! Added some air to my tires to restore the pressure, and I was on my way.

Great folks there Collin is awesome. Called about needing 2 tires and an inspection for my Cadillac and he knew what I needed ordered it and will take care of it in a couple of days.

The entire family of shops are outstanding! Needing repairs is always stressful and I go there confident everything will be done perfectly. Never had an issue with any of my cars being worked on and they stand by their work. Are they the cheapest? Nope but I'll pay more instead of having some backyard youtube mechanic jack something up without recourse. They were even qualified to do my warranty work instead of dealing with a dealership

I caught a flat around 6:00pm when I got out of work I was so upset I drove down 611 trying to find a auto shop that was open so I can get a new tire I was driving on my spare and I know it s not good to drive on a spare too many miles so I stopped at 9th street auto repair but of course they were closing but one of the guys that work there was nice enough to come and look at my tire to see what tire number I would need gave me a business card and told me to come back the next morning I came back the next morning And walked in to the shop and before I could tell them what I was in for the guy I spoke to the night before comes out the back and tells me I got your tire right here I was so happy just the fact that he remembered me. the customer service is amazing they gave me a good tire for a great price. Very professional Establishment if I could give them more than five stars I would because this business have some great workers

I just went to this place and the one minute that I turned around I had $200 dollars missing from my pure. They robbed me half of my money that was in my car I will definitely never be coming here again.. not with these greedy suckers.. they are lucky I didn t get the cops involved which I was definitely planning on to after I left..press charges but I was told I shouldn t because it was my unfortunate mistake of leaving money! Thief s working here..

I previously wrote a bad review about this place and I was pretty harsh with my more out of angry cause my wife came home crying. I was miss informed on inspection rules in PA. And the manager explained to me although I replaced my brake previously since one of the new wheel cylinder was leaking it pa inspection law requires you to replace the shoes. So I got very angry when they told my wife it fail and she got upset cause she knew I replaced everything including the wheel. Cylinders but that doesn't mean that there isn't a defect in the new equipment. Any way I'd like to say sorry and I hope we can continue to do business.

I ve been going here for years. They always have good prices and are very personable. I had an emergency late tonight at 5:30 pm with Thanksgiving tomorrow and they took care of my issue. It s comforting to have them here in the Poconos. They earned my Trust !!! Thank you

I had a slow leak in one of my tires on the way to my moms house. Actually was recommended to get a tire from 9th Street Tire after calling another discount tire place. I'm glad I asked for a better deal, because 9th Street Tire was it! Great used tires at a reasonable price! Awesome, respectful and courteous mechanics, too!

The people were curteous and professional. The guy who waited on me helped me get the best tires for the best price. I got 4 tires put on and it took them less than an hour.. GREAT PLACE

Went there for a tire valve replacement about a $15 job and was charged for 2 hrs of shop time for a 15 minute job and a $58 bill. Do not do business. Used to use them for all repairs till this debacle.

I would never recommend this place, staff are very rude and nasty I called for tires first they didn't have tires for my vehicle, I called a different place not realizing that it was the same number asked and the person recognize my voice and said that he just spoke to me then he offered tires that can be used with my vehicle once I go there he wouldn't acknowledge me at I'll speak to him and I'll get ignore my kids father would speak to him and he'll answer him but not me. Very poor attitude to top it off tried to sell me a tire with a nail in it. Please check them before you get them installed.

Took my car there because I had two tires that I thought had slow leaks. I was putting air in them every week. They told me my valve stems were broken and Charged me $50, a week later the tire pressure light came back on so I took it back they said the sensor was broken. After that I took it to Walmart in Scranton and the told me the TPMS nut was just loose that's why I was loosing air he tightened it and the problem was solved. I wasn't charged anything either because it was just a Loose nut. Like so many places out here I have to add this shop to my list of places to never go to again because they're dishonest and just want get money out of you. I'm curious to what they supposedly fixed since all it was was a loose nut.

Took my car there for tires they gave me a quote 105.00 per tire which i needed two. I aslo needed inspection and had other problems that i was never told about. I ended up going somewhere else and ot tires for 74.00 a piece and was showed my brakes

The guy was very rude.. the way his attitude was it seemed like he was annoyed that I came in to get an inspection done and it seemed like he was debating if he even wanted to do it or not..

Took 2 hours to change a tire!!! The worker could not do 2 things at once... Like he couldn't talk n balance a tire at the same time
